Soon, God willing, we hope to be conducting water baptisms at our current church meeting facility. Our church assembly may also begin about the same time.
We are also, praying and asking the Holy Ghost about a worship pastor to shepherd our worship ministers. GOSPEL EVANGELIST CHURCH is writing songs like that of Paul and Silas which resemble the praises they sang while in prison that certain night.
We are fully following after our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost, and giving all glory to our heavenly Father. Together we understand and accept that… “GOD IS BUILDING GOSPEL EVANGELIST CHURCH! No man will ever be able to say, that they build this church.” Amen.
GOSPEL EVANGELIST CHURCH at Boulder and Colorado; activities have begun, on Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday May 26th, 2019; daily ministry events and activities involving gospel preaching banner of truth, intercession for souls, gospel tracts for the lost and other preaching and ministry will be on going and building up to the first GEC TRUTH STUDY, then our GEC OPEN GATES gathering, and then onto the first GEC CHIEF CONCOURSE. Please understand, this is a work of faith and a leading of the Holy Ghost. And it doesn’t feel like he’s in a hurry. Church meets at the corner of 28th and Pearl Street, near the Target Store, EVERY Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Be willing to hold a gospel banner, intercede for souls, and hand out gospel tracts; and when people converse with you, simply be filled with the love of God; this is important! We answer the people in gentleness, a fruit of the Spirit. Watch the Holy Ghost minister, it’s beautiful and exciting to witness the Spirit of God in action!
Our main church assembly activities are held primarily from corner to corner / house to house / office to office / local to local throughout the week. The schedules/dates/times for Gospel Evangelist Church — CONCOURSE will be, God willing, based on a quarterly calendar, 3rd Sunday. Now as of December 2020, we have begun to earnestly pray about an ongoing indoor location within a three block radius or so, from our banner preaching corner at 28th/Pearl. Thank you for helping the church in prayer and in contacting someone you may know who has space available for a Sunday church assembly. Thank you! The CONCOURSE will be from 10:00am to 5:00pm. From 12:00pm to 1:00pm will be a breaking of bread as a family, in-house meal. Then we continue at 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The hotel / conference room / meeting place / public facility room should be open by 10:00am through 5:00pm, approximately. An offering will be taken up to cover ONLY the costs of the room and meal, this shouldn’t be very much. Tithes and offerings are up to each person’s belief in the The Holy Scriptures, KJV. We will also have the Lord’s supper communion, possibly water baptism, and many various kinds of prayers and supplications for the saints and those wanting salvation or returning back to the Lord. In addition, our policy is set to include anyone who wants to attend. People are free to come and go at any time, as they are led of the Spirit. To clarify this, you are not late, and you are welcome to come and receive whatever the Holy Ghost has for you; all of us accept this move of the Spirit, and are not offended by you coming and you leaving, as the Spirit leads. Amen.
Again, people may arrive and leave at any time as they are led of the Spirit. You will not disturb anyone in the concourse, everyone knows that people come and go as they need, as per the Holy Ghost. This provides freedom of the Spirit to move as he wills. Also this provides freedom for each person to receive what they need. The services will ebb and flow as the Holy Ghost moves through the services. Please remember, keep in your mind, this church is NOT like any church that you’ve ever been apart of, it’s not just different; it’s being built by the Holy Ghost. Amen.
This is by design, by the Holy Ghost and the ministers of this church to allow full and unrestricted freedom to whatever the Holy Ghost wants to do. We’ll let all things be done unto edifying. Also we’ll let all things be done decently and in order, as per the holy scriptures. “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. I Corinthians 14:33, KJV.” All things will be in strict accordance with the word of truth, specifically the King James Bible.
The reason that we will be having an all day event is due to not meeting as often as most churches do. As I’ve stated, our CHIEF CONCOURSE meets quarterly, the third Sunday. However, understand that we all meet daily, weekly, monthly in the OPEN GATES “house churches”, somewhere in or near the city of Boulder and in other cities and towns of Colorado. As of January 2021, we are meeting at 33 gate corners/locations. These events are recorded and kept updated in our preaching calendar and street preaching results. Also, there is much more to cover, however, I’m going to leave it here for now. Thank you for your love.
In 2023, God willing, it looks like the Holy Ghost wants me to continue daily: 6 days a week – through the winter and onward through the spring and summer and into fall, preaching and ministering with my banner, and preaching intercession in the Spirit, and ministering with gospel tracts until people begin to ask me to get together with them, and to ask me to do a bible study (study the word of truth); in other words basic questions that will be an indicator to me that the Spirit is letting me know that the timing to start the next phase of GEC is upon me. There are FIVE Phases: Phase I. STUDY. / Phase II. PREACH. / Phase III. MINISTER. / Phase IV. BUILD. / Phase V. FOUNDATION. These five phases are interrelated and not linear, they function together as a unit. Clearly, the Holy Ghost is not in a hurry… therefore, neither are we. And again we ask, please remember that we are building something different and NOT to be confused with other current styles, types, and methods of other churches or denominations of ANY kind. We are following the Holy Ghost. Amen. Thank you for your meekness.

GOSPEL EVANGELIST CHURCH at Boulder has five key pastoral positions that require being filled at some point, just don’t know when. I’m looking for the certain people that the Holy Ghost has selected for our church. On February 12, 2020 while in prayer, I could see maybe five 25’ish year olds leading this church, who are happily married, and with good jobs to support themselves while GEC is being built. However, this is entirely based upon the Holy Ghost, not me. To be upfront and clear, GEC has NO paid positions or hireling positions. Every minister at GEC is paid by preaching the gospel to build their GEC OPEN GATE Ministry. Your ministry is approved by God by the Lord drawing people into your ministry as a GEC OPEN GATE Minister. The people give as the word teaches, and this becomes a base for support. This is all by faith. If you cannot live by faith, then this is probably not the church for you. My own role, which is also not paid, is to build or rather preach and found this work so that others, that the Holy Ghost has selected, may run by faith the operations of this church as the Spirit leads. There’s much more I want to share, however we should get together and seek the Lord for his direction. Amen?

October 4, 2020, SUNDAY, the Holy Ghost has us now preaching aloud, short 20-minute simple gospel salvation sermons, every Sunday! (All the other locations are still intercession.)
Sunday church meets at the corner of 28th/Pearl (LOOK FOR THE JESUS BANNER), (The banner/sign may be flying at one the corners here at 28th and Pearl Street), (we’ve been on all the corners at one time or another), EVERY SUNDAY from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Come and stay only as you have need. The Holy Ghost will lead you. No need to stay all day. I just make myself available to everyone. Therefore, simply be led by the Holy Ghost and come and leave as led. Amen?
As I’ve been preaching on the streets, I noticed that I’ve been saying, “Welcome to the drive-by-church… church-on-the-sidewalk… where we have 45-second sermons or less… the length of a traffic light!” Why? I think it’s because I preach by the sidewalk and my sermons are only 45 seconds long! The length of a traffic light. Sunday, November 16, 2019, I’ve seen that I’ve actually been having church every single Sunday since May 26th, 2019! (I missed one… Due to Covid-19 lock-down, I’ve missed all of April and some of May, a total of 48 preaching days.) Church meets at the corner of 28th and Pearl St., near the Target Store, EVERY Sunday from 11:00am to 4:00pm. EVERYONE is totally WELCOME! We meet as servants; teaching and preaching and ministering the gospel of JESUS CHRIST. A brief on how I came to Boulder, this time around. This is my seventh attempt to build a missionary church in Boulder, Colorado.
In Redding, California on Sunday July 17, 2016, during my morning prayer time, while sitting outside on my porch, the Lord directed me to three certain scriptures; each one talking about ‘now is the time’… then I heard the Lord say, “Steve’s passing has altered your timing; now is the time to move to Boulder, Colorado.” Now, of all the things someone could do after they retire, I would suppose that building a church would be near the bottom of someone’s list, if it’s on it at all! However, that is exactly what I’m doing… building God a church; in the State of Colorado, in the City of Boulder. Named, Gospel Evangelist Church. Scripture foundation is Mark sixteen: fifteen-twenty, KJV. This church is to be built by using the home cell group system. (We are currently calling these cell groups: GEC OPEN GATES… house churches.)

Gentle note with meekness: This entire ministry missionary church website and concourse, is in a continual work of UPDATING and REFINING and POLISHING and RENEWAL. Today will probably be different than last month or so. As I write this, I’ll find more information that makes Gospel Evangelist Church more accurate, and easier to understand; relating to the vision and calling of this church. Also, a clarity will come into focus to help in understanding just exactly what the church is attempting to accomplish. We are attempting to equip every believer for the work of the ministry. By design, we are creating ministry ground in many various forms, all for the express purpose of seeding the word of God into the fertile good ground of every believers heart.
