The Key Point to Why We Have the GEC Bible Study
This scripture verse in Proverbs 11:30 is the key point to why we have this bible study. By filling your spirit with the word of God, you will be a fruitful tree. The fruit of the righteous; the righteous are the the born-again believers who have believed on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. The tree of life can be likened to gaining eternal life, living forever, without death. This is why Jesus Christ came to save us from eternal damnation.
By continual study; the way the Holy Spirit has instructed, we have laid out our bible study curriculum, each of us should be able to do the work of the Lord everyday of our lives. Below here is a sampling of many verses that exemplify what happens when we fill our heart with the word of God.
By only studying the HOLY BIBLE and specifically the Authorized King James Version; and not any preachers or ministers books, we will fill our hearts with the pure words of God and not those of man. Please understand, that I am NOT saying, not to read ministry books, but what I am saying is, give this study a year to put the word of God deep into your heart. Agreed?
Then after graduation, the second year, I have a long list of great ministry books that probably should be read next, along with the continual study of the word of God as your ongoing lifestyle. The main thrust of these books build why we use the Authorized King James Version, rather than modern versions.
To gain an idea of what I am referring to:
Slowly read each of the following scripture verses to gain an idea of what I am referring to in regards to GEC Bible Study… please realize, that what we do must be in the Holy Ghost, and not outside. The Holy Ghost is everything, to everything we are doing at Gospel Evangelist Church in Boulder, Colorado. Without the Holy Ghost we can achieve NOTHING! Please read Matthew 3:11 and Luke 3:16 and Mark 16:15-20.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Proverbs 10:32 (KJV) The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
Proverbs 14:33 (KJV) Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
Proverbs 15:2 (KJV) The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
Proverbs 15:28 (KJV) The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
Proverbs 16:22 (KJV) Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
Proverbs 17:27 (KJV) He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
Matthew 12:35 (KJV) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Matthew 15:18 (KJV) But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Select the “12 Months Reading Plan Pace”
(The 12 Month Pace can be found in the Alexander Scourby Bible APP under settings)
1. Listen to Alexander Scourby read the KJV for 10 minutes; listen intently.
2. Read the verses listened to for 20 minutes; concentrate.
3. Pray the verses read for 10 minutes; speak with tongues only.
4. Write one verse for 10 minutes; this goes into a notebook, along with the following nine tools, all to be logged into this notebook for the purpose to graduate our bible study.
There are nine tools God has showed us for building GEC:
A. Banner: Let the banner preach (banner/sign/patch/pin), By showing the word of God and your Christian faith; this opens a door to give the gospel; about 10,000 witnesses every year.
Banner ~ Banner Preaching! Lifting a banner of truth of God’s word for the lost to see!
B. Intercession: Pray aloud, with tongues, for the souls of people to be saved, the Spirit makes a way; Make intercession constantly, this is what actually works; about 10,000 souls every year. This to me, is the missing piece of street preachers.
Intercession ~ Preaching intercession in the Holy Ghost with tongues for souls! Standing in the gap before Jesus for souls! Making up the hedge, asking God that not one soul will go to hell while on your watch!
C. Tracts: These gospel tracts contain the full gospel of Christ for salvation, and enough key scriptures to start a bible study; give 3 tracts every day; this is 1,000 souls every year.
Tracts ~ Preaching with printed seeds of God’s word! Spreading the seeds of salvation to all who will receive!
D. Daily Prayer List: After you give a tract to the person; ask for their contact info (Name/Email/Prayer Request) for your Daily Prayer Lists; add about 100 people every year; Write and email a Sunday Prayer Letter. I have two lists: an electronic one for email of my letters, and one on paper with only names that I use in my morning prayer time.
Daily Prayer List ~ Daily mentioning names to God in prayer! This action builds love for people.
E. Publishing: After finishing the daily bible study work, follow through from the verse that was written today; by writing a discourse; recording a podcast episode; formatting a book chapter; formatting a blog post, or recording a video, and also the Sunday Prayer Letter is a function of this tool. Publishing links the bible study to the daily prayer lists.
Publishing ~ Publishing the gospel of Christ every where! Scattering the seeds of God’s word around the world; with podcasts, blogs, books, videos, media, and whatever is available!
F. Missionary Giving: This is giving for sending preachers/missionaries into the field to work; then the Lord can collect interest. This is important to the Lord because, if you don’t preach, then you can send others to do the work; The best idea is you preaching and ministering, and at the same time, you sending others to preach and minister.
Missionary Giving ~ Sending preachers to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ! Through Chick Missions Fund, send 10,000 tracts every year! Then, find 100 givers who will do the same; this would be about 1,000,000 souls touched with the gospel of Christ, every year!
G. GEC Bible Study: Win 10 lost souls for heaven every year; This would be: 10 tracts/10 apps-they buy/10 bibles-kjv/10 notebooks-they buy/10 dvds. The bible study starts the cell ministry, every year.
GEC Bible Study ~ Building one accord in the saints! You, personally and daily, using the GEC Notebook for planned study and learning of God’s word to preach and minister and build.
H. GEC Cell Ministry: Build a cell ministry with 10 families, the 10 souls won, every year; Cell ministry meets once a week, everyone participates in the cell, at 20 families the cell divides in half. The daily prayer lists are the key to building the cells.
GEC Cell Ministry ~ Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace! You and friends and family coming together for receiving a seed of God’s word and for giving ministry where needed.
I. GEC Church Concourse: Minister to families in our church concourse; Calendar year; bi-monthly; 3rd Sunday; our focused ministry is weekly local to local/house to house cells.
GEC Church Concourse ~ Wisdom crieth… she crieth in the chief place of concourse! Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life. You and all the families of our church come together for receiving the fruit of God’s word and for giving ministry wherever needed.
Upon successful graduation, which entails your completed notebook, including all activities recorded as written in the above text, you become what our church titles a “GEC Cell Ministry Advisor.”
This is just the beginning to your possible journey into ministry. Gospel Evangelist Church has three more missionary seasons for you to grow into. You might see the opportunity of taking the gospel of Jesus Christ from your city, into your state, then throughout your country, and continuing around the world. Doing all things in the name of JESUS!
The word of God says in Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Revelation tells us in Revelation 7:17 (KJV) “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
The last six verses in the New Testament before Revelation!
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Once again, please take note that this entire bible study process and curriculum is in the growing stage. The basic structure has not changed since its inception. My whole idea is to seed the word of God into the fertile soil of your heart. By the Holy Ghost being the head of our school, because he is the Comforter and teacher, then I see wonderful things coming out of GEC Bible Study. As it is written, “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5, KJV. Also very important is this: “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” Ephesians 4:11-12, KJV. Thank you for your continual patience and love of Christ.
