Good morning! As the days roll by, I do sincerely hope that we are putting all we are able into serving and loving the Lord Jesus Christ and his body. Let’s all make renewed commitments to tell people we are nearby about the story of Jesus and what he did for us. Some will receive it…and some will reject it, and all that is okay! Believe that is okay. Attempt to resist taking insults and rejection personally, yes I know, easy to say, harder to do.

This could be one more reason to pray before heading out for the day. Being around God for a little while could be your best time of the day and a preparation for whatever the day may throw at you. It just an idea, and I think it’s a good one.

Maybe attending our live broadcast truth study classes might be your answer to help?

Possibly going through our GEC Truth Study books, this might help?

Much of all that we do at Gospel Evangelist Church is to train and equip the believer to go out into their world and give the gospel away to all who have ears to hear and eyes to see.

Put the burden on JESUS, not on you… we simply give the word of truth away… then Jesus by his Spirit convicts the soul of mankind. Amen.

Hello my friend! Today is Sunday and for the reason of daily working diligently in the ministry, yesterday and now today, Sunday, exhaustion and fatigue has got up for a moment. Therefore, I’m home today, but I’m still working as you can see right here. I’ve been busy working on the ministry since about 8am this morning, about 5 hours as of now… and still have 4 or 5 hours to go before I’ve completed the work needed in the parts of the ministry and church that no body sees, but the builder, which is me, Preacher John powered by the Holy Ghost! Hey, that sounds pretty cool!

However, Monday, I’ll be back at it in the truth study class and on the street. Monday, God willing, is at Foothills Parkway and Valmont, it’s a hot location and I’ll probably only be able to get about three hours on the street. And that’s fine, because all these three hours add up to thousands of hours over the years of building Gospel Evangelist Church. All glory to Almighty God!

Also, this coming Friday, August 23rd, is the last day of our first year of GEC Truth Study—”church school”… man, I am so utterly surprised to have made it a whole year!!! I was totally uncertain of being able to do a Monday thru Friday class from 7am to 8am every week for a year… and now, year two begin and it’s another one year of classes!

The sad part is all who have watched this ministry go by them and have not partaken of this year’s truth study. Oh well, I was here and so was the Holy Ghost! Where were you?

These last many many days have been very difficult, weather wise, due to extreme heat and extreme smoke from fires. Thus I’ve needed to take days off here and there to recoup and to cool down.

Good morning my friend! Hello and welcome to this missionary website, it’s a site that was once upon a time, only for me and my missionary work. However, the Lord Jesus moves us into other seasons of our life and ministry, and thus, this site is no longer about my own missionary work… ALL the work the Lord has me doing now is solely for one single purpose, and that is building Gospel Evangelist Church in Colorado at Boulder.

Yes, I realize this site still has my name on it… and this website points to our church site, GospelEvangelistChurch.org, and is more like a what I now call, “Welcome To The Digital Front Door of GEC.” … and this is so because, we want scriptures covering our door our entrance as the word of truth talks about, so that’s what we are attempting to do.

However, the church site points back to this site… and the reason for this is most all our resources are still here. I am not capable to move the entire website to a new location, or even to rebuild it into a fully church site. Therefore, I am leaving these sites as is, in order that one day when the Holy Ghost brings someone who is fully capable, and the Lord wants us to, we will consolidate everything into one main or major website, at least that’s the idea!

This is Saturday morning, and I’ve returned from about a week in Burlington, Colorado… the eastern gate of this state, and the east end of the cross that I see that lays over the state of Colorado. (Now of course this is spiritual, but if you look closely, it’s possible to see a cross over this state, it’s quite amazing!)

Burlington was extremely fruitful this trip. Actually, the last three trips have been very good and fruitful for the kingdom of God. And this is what our church truly excels at, soul winning! We are a soul winning church… Proverbs 11:30 clearly states how we should minister, or maybe what our focus should be on… winning souls for the kingdom of God. “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Proverbs 11:30 King James Bible. Is that what you are doing in your ministry?

If you are interested to see our goals and our results and our numbers, they are fully exposed at our Results page, each year has its own page, and there is a tally of all years on each page.

Thank you for praying and interceding for this missionary church and our street ministry… our banner preaching and street ministry is how the Lord directed us to build Gospel Evangelist Church, and everyone at our church is here due to this ministry, not from any other means… at this time.

When the Lord told me, “I want you to advertise.” never did I realize that banner preaching and street preaching would be the form of ministry that he was referring to, and of course, as the season has matured, other forms of advertising has come into our church, but the main method is still “GEC Banner Preaching and Street Ministry”… thus, this is an highly important ministry in this certain church in this part of the body of Christ.

This is probably why I am so faithful to this style of ministry, even though I’ve never done anything like it, ever!

And it’s much more work than most believers realize… and even understand.

So, on Sunday I’ll be back out there doing the most important work the Lord Jesus Christ has called me and actually all of this church, and that is to lift ye up a banner “Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.” Isaiah 13:2 King James Bible.

And so, Preacher John does exactly that… until the Lord Jesus shows me the next step, even if no one else is with me or around me, I will serve Christ Jesus with all my life, nothing in reserve nor held back… I am giving my life to the building of Gospel Evangelist Church, LLC. Boulder, Colorado USA.

Good morning my dear friend! As I sit here, or rather just finishing up with my morning routine of prayer and my calendar and the word, I thought to take this photo showing the start of this morning, early.

We all do something different each day, and this is not to say that you should do anything that I do, no. As many of you have heard me say, don’t copy a man, copy Jesus Christ your Saviour and Lord, Jesus is our chief Shepherd.

So what am I doing? About seven years ago, May 3, 2017, my life became an open book, transparent and reveled to all who are looking or interested. This is not always the best way to live, especially as a street preacher that is out on the street about six days a week, and highly visible to all the public, good and bad.

My life is an example nowadays because of the Holy Ghost opening my life to be exposed to all that the Spirit draws to this missionary church and street ministry. As an example, everything I do is open for scrutiny or education… and I receive both, the good and the bad, the praise and the scoffing. And that is just fine to me, because I know what the Lord has asked me to do, and I am living God’s will for my life and ministry.

One of the examples I’d like to share is, be open and honest with the Lord Jesus. There may be to many Christians that are not forth coming with the Lord, and may think they are hiding something from God. But if we simply stop for a moment and think… that is impossible, because God knows all things and is in all places and at all times… there is absolutely nothing hidden from God, NOTHING!

Therefore, the best way to live is trusting in God. As we live in this trust, good things seem to be all about us, it actually becomes like living a “miracle”… it’s as if, we are living miracles!

God loves you and me, and is right there with you and me to provide whatever it is that we need, and guess what, God knows what we need even before we know what we need and before we even ask! Now, that is a God that we can get behind, or rather before him, and give him our life and our trust and our love… and we can do this, as saints of God, we can do this for ever and ever and ever… with out end!

Glory to Almighty God.

Good Morning! Just moments ago, I finished updating the street preaching results for this last week… and as we all can see, this year, 2024, has been a very rough year, as of now. What will come as we continue moving toward the end of this year, no one knows, but Almighty God.

I’ve been hurt, sick, and fatigued, and overly exhausted this year. My hope is that the Lord will refresh me, and my hope is being realized! My back is much better, and ribs are healed, my fatigue has diminished and I’m in much better spirits as a whole. Will this continue through the year? I have no idea… but what I do know is that I will continue daily serving Christ with all my heart and soul and strength.

Sometimes when we’ve committed to extremely long range targets, there will be times here and there that seems like we have slowed down or even come to a temporary stalling of our forward movement. This is not new to me, looking through five decades of service unto the kingdom of God, I can see plainly there has been numerous times that I’ve stalled out. But through it all, the Holy Ghost has not left me powerless. My prayer life has always been present. My service unto Christ has always been present (although greatly reduced), and my life has continued to mature in Christ Jesus, my only Saviour and Lord. Glory to Almighty God. Amen.

As write this, I’ve also completed my morning supplication and prayers. I’m going to be getting ready to head out to our Sunday location for our service in the kingdom of God. It’s extremely hot, it’s currently 85 degrees at 9am!!!

Also the daily summer severe warning of extreme poor air quality is up and warning all to stay home. This all tells me, that where the Lord Jesus has me is a “mission field” not some wonderful place to live.

Colorado and Boulder are mission fields for me to build Gospel Evangelist Church. I am giving my life in service unto Christ in the building of this certain church in the body of Christ. As far as I currently know, I am giving my life to the Lord Jesus Christ and his church. This is not for me in any way.

Therefore, I venture on out into the harvest to go and preach the gospel and minister the gifts of the Holy Ghost as he wills.

I love my friend… may God’s love surround you and give you peace, abundant peace. Amen.

Good morning my friend! As I’m writing this, I just finished updating the preaching calendar again this morning… I had to cancel this day out at Walnut-Broadway, I’m just so wore out at this time, I’m on the couch working on the laptop and updating things related to GEC. However, I am unable to venture out into the street to preach… not at this time.

This really bugs me, but I think I’ve learned the hard way what I can do on the street or not. Whenever I am exhausted and overly tired in body, things go wrong and I’m unaware of Satan’s devices… and thus, I get snared for a moment, and sometimes do something that I wish I hadn’t. This comes from fatigue in the body… not the spirit, the spirit is doing just fine, it’s this body that carries me around that becomes weary, but my spirit is in no way weary at all!!

I know what weariness of spirit is all about, because I’ve been there too. But I’m not there now… and it might be because of the Holy Spirit helping me in this season of ministry of building Gospel Evangelist Church. I sense a real peace of God all about me… and thus, am comfortable that I am comforted by the Spirit of the Lord.

Anyways, just wanted to write something here for anyone who is looking around and checking on me. Because I’m not certain of how many actually see or read this, but may one day. Know that I love you who are reading this… and greatly appreciate you, sincerely.

Good morning! Every Sunday I walk to 28th and Pearl Street. The Lord Jesus has had me doing this since my first day on the street, flying the banner and preaching the gospel to all who may be interested. This has been taking place since Sunday May 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm! And I’m still going strong, as the Lord wills.

Today, Sunday July 7, 2024 is no different, other than my hours and which of the four corners that I fly the banner from. This changes as the seasons change. Currently here in the midst of summer, I’m on the South West Corner by the old Starbucks and by Floyd’s barber… it’s cooler here due to a nice shady tree and standing on a small sliver of grass.

My hours are currently about 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and as the Lord wills. Sometimes I arrive early, and sometimes I leave later. And even sometimes, I am unable to come out at all, usually due to physical limitations. I have noticed that I do miss about 4 to 6 Sundays during the year, that is only a guess, I’ve not looked at my calendar for the exact days missed. Also, please double check the preaching calendar to verify the times and what is going on… this is a must, because I do keep the website calendar up to date, usually about two hours prior to the scheduled time and date.

Whenever you seem led of the Spirit to come by, please do so… pray over the location, over the people, and even if you need pray, let’s pray together. Let’s do whatever the Spirit of truth wants of us… being willing and obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Have a wonder-filled Sunday, the Lord’s day!

Good Morning! It’s the last day of the first month of summer… and from my point of view, this summer is moving way to fast! Why is it?

Sometimes our life speeds us, and in other times it seems to be slower going. Why is that?

Do we take control of our time, or does God control our time? What do you think?

From my point of view once again, I see that my time is in the hands of God and is based greatly on my willingness and obedience to do the will of God. My struggle is the daily submission to the will of God, we all know the famous words that Jesus spoke in the garden, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” —Luke 22:42 KJB.

Do we speak that way? This is a real question, and not a rhetorical one… and must be answered at some point, hopefully sooner than later. Where is time now?

This is Sunday morning, the last day of this month, June 2024. I’m preparing myself to serve God out in the public, as I do every Sunday. I’m a minister and that is what ministers do… we serve, what we serve is based upon our relationship to the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God. When we are in close communion with the Spirit, then we have a fullness of his gifts moving in our service. If we do not have a close relationship with the Holy Spirit, then the service is restricted due to unbelief. However, if there is something of great importance, then the Spirit of truth will go around you and do the will of God. This statement is something to think about, seriously.

Anyways, I’m just updating some current news, and simply touching base with the readers of this blog.

Good Morning! It’s a great day in JESUS! Now, I realize that this statement of truth might rub some people wrong. Why? Well, to some that are in the midst of some very very difficult situations, like divorce, a child passing away, a deceased parent, and maybe losing a job or a business…or even bankruptcy… the list could go on and on about all the possible problems and life events that we all may go through, to some degree or another.

However, if you and and I are born again Christians, then we are no longer of this world and we are followers of the maker of this world, the Lord Jesus Christ. Then knowing and accepting this truth, we truly can live as “pilgrims” passing through to another land, a promised land, flowing with milk and honey… heaven!

This is not heaven… we are not there yet… and this is not hell, as some say it is. This is Earth, a planet that the Lord created for us to live upon. Earth is actually only the dry land or dirt portion of the planet, the rest of it is called Seas.

So now, with this further understanding, we are able to say, by faith in God, that we are in the midst of a great day in JESUS! Because Jesus Christ has defeated death, he is not dead, he is alive… no longer in the tomb… the tomb is empty! AND NO WHERE ON THE PLANET HAS SATAN BEEN ABLE TO FIND THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS CRUCIFIED ON THE CROSS. The reason is, the Father resurrected Christ and Jesus was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

REJOICE MY DEAR BRETHREN!

GOD LOVES YOU!!!

Good morning my dear brethren! I just finished this morning’s Monday GEC Truth Study Class… it was a good one, and something that I noticed was, there are some who don’t participate in class, they don’t join in, they are not aware of the class, they might not think the class is important to them, or maybe they think it is not valuable or has value to them. I have no answers to these statements. But God knows what is going on… and my work is to continue onward moving and serving and allowing people to be where they are in life, and if they choose to come alongside… then that is either curiosity or of the Lord Jesus. Which it is, is unknown to me… I simply allow God to be God. Know that this is easy to say or to write, but not that easy to live, just saying!

Today is Monday and I’m heading out to Foothills and Valmont to serve Christ out there. I’ll be on the RTD Bus 208 there and back. Schedules are not my schedule, so my times are typically off by a bit, due to my walking and riding public transportation. Thank you for understanding.

May this day be a blessing in your life and ministry, in Christ… we humbly pray. Amen.

Hello my dear brethren! As you might be able to tell it is rather late for me… but for some reason, I’m given to update some of the pages on this missionary website. Thanks for giving some of your precious time to look around and hopefully pick up a thing or two that would benefit your life and your ministry. Praise the Lord!

This has been one of the few hardest years of ministry in a very long time. What I mean is the physical hurt that I’ve experienced. Just recently, hit in the left rib cage and broke a couple of ribs. Then after healed, was undermined by some devils and ripped out the lower back… oh boy, did that hurt. Then healed and back out there on the street, then hit by small twisters and re-injured the back… this comes from wind that comes from nowhere without warning and hits my 10 foot banner. It’s catches people’s attention, and catches other attentions too.

Through all the pain and physical injuries, our missionary church is growing and becoming established, at least it appears this way. My commitment is also greatly increasing, I’m more committed than every before to growing the new church. I’m excited!

You also might notice that I’ve been updating this old website that I’ve been running for over ten years. And also created a new website for our church… it’s located at GospelEvangelistChurch.org. I’ve got this church website linked to this old missionary website by using the buttons that you see throughout the site, they bring you back to here.

I’m calling that site “The digital front door of GEC.”

Good morning my friend! Yes, I do fully realize that it has been a little while since I’ve updated this Calendar News section of our missionary website. But I’ve been hard at work serving Christ! And that is a great and wonderful and fulfilling feeling inside. I’m so very excited to watch the Spirit of God move here in Boulder and in Colorado. All good things are happening!

My schedule is still full of street ministry. Our church is growing. Our ministry is growing. And we are touching more people for heaven than ever before. And it looks as if we will be able to come close to our annual objectives of touching and ministering to people across this state… and get this, in other parts of the world… because some of our church members travel… travel across America and travel to other countries! This is wild to me! I love it, how the Lord Jesus is using this tiny dot of a church to touch multitudes of people who don’t even live near here, that is near Boulder or even in Colorado.

Serving Chris with our whole heart is one of the greatest joys after salvation that we as saints of God can experience. Serve and keep serving all the days of your life, that is all the days that God is giving you, so don’t think about wasting any days. Amen.

Good morning! YES! It is frigid cold like it is in most of the United States today and for many days due to this Arctic Cold Front. This happens it seems about every few years, and lasts for several days. A few years ago, it also got to minus 20, 30, 40 below zero… but only for a few days, I think, but I may be off a little or a lot? I do remember many pipes breaking here across the old part of Boulder. Even in my studio, my neighbor’s water pipe burst from the ice in the pipe and flooded his studio and some water came into my studio, but there was no damage for me.

I remember going out in this deep arctic type of weather and then having throat and lung challenges… so this morning when I awoke early, and keeping an eye on this severe weather, my spirit knew it would be unwise to go out onto the street as I normally would do. Therefore, wisdom of the Lord is not to be on the streets this day, and each day I will pray for wisdom. I hope that makes sense to all who are interested.

Because I am building a church, there is much work that needs to be done in house and not on the street. And that is what I do when I am off the street. For example, I am putting together our truth study notebooks, there are eight of them, and this takes an enormous amount of time, it really does, it’s so very tedious and trying to my patience… but they are being created! Praise the LORD.

Please also understand, that I do not own an automobile nor a drivers license, and my ministry is on the street out in the open air, that is not in a heated building… nor in a heated vehicle. Sunday, like this very morning, many people will leave their heated home, walk a few feet and get into their heated vehicle, and drive to the heated church building, walk a few more feet into a heated building, then reverse that coming back home. The thought process to accomplishing this action is vastly different than what I must do to do my ministry. Please understand… which I know most do, thank you.

I’m writing this way because I feel guilty not being out in this deep freeze arctic cold weather… and this is why I am already early this morning at my desk working on the church.

Thank you for all your prayers and concern and giving and presence in our street ministry and missionary church.

Hello my friend! I’m writing another entry in the Journal from today’s calendar entry…

From Tuesday January 5, 2024 date on our Preaching Calendar:

(This is not normal for me. I’m a very dedicated faithful worker. I don’t call in sick, I don’t skate and do little to nothing and expect to get paid, and I have always been a worker that can be counted on to get the job done, this has been my work career way of living. But here, there is now something going on in this body that is stealing my strength, even the doctor a couple months ago couldn’t find a reason… this is one reason why I see this “lack of strength” to go to work, a work of the enemy. To get out of this takes time and prayer. And if the Lord says to go to the doctor, I am one who will say yes. Therefore, I am asking for patience from all… and I already know that many are patient with me and are praying for me and our ministry. I’m actually quite excited!!! There are some very wonderful things going on that lets me have confidence that the work we are doing is of the Lord Jesus. From my perspective… all is going just fine. The only challenge I see is from maybe some who have not been around for very long and think this is the way I do things. I can’t change people’s behavior nor their decisions. I will just keep on moving along in the Spirit. And actually this is nothing new to me… I’ve been doing ministry for so long that there is really nothing new under the sun. Truly. So, Praise ye the LORD! Amen. -John.)

Good morning my friend! Today is Tuesday and I’m still in a very weird place of low physical energy, and this all generally started when I returned from the Trinidad, Colorado outreach, GEC Banner Preaching and Street Ministry, in October 2023. I am here at the southern end of the cross that lays over the state of Colorado. This is my fourth time here, and will be coming here in the fourth quarter of each year, as we are building GEC in this state of Colorado. What I am saying is, whenever you physically get attacked, slow down and spend more time with the Lord Jesus, in prayer and supplication. And do whatever it is he is asking for you to do, because you might need healing? Or you might need… ??? Okay? God bless you.

Greetings my friend! A great big thank you for being here and showing interest in this street ministry and missionary church. There are a lot of things going on in the world and these are surely able to capture our attention.

Therefore, this is one more reason why I say thank you, because you are demonstrating that the kingdom of God is more important to you than the situations going on in the world, because those will continue till God ends it all. Jesus said something like, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. With that in mind, and knowing that this kingdom is invisible to the physical eye, you are also showing faith by your actions. And that is very admirable, because without faith it is impossible to please our Father which is in heaven. Amen.

One of the unusual problems that I am currently facing is this seemingly lack of physical strength, that is the ability to move the body out the door. It is as if, my energy in the body is at its lowest level, and I am attempting many things to bring this energy back up to normal. I’m in prayer and looking at the things in my life, and asking the Lord for help in this matter.

This is why, once again, I had to cancel today, Sunday Jan 7th, banner preaching… I’m home right now as I type this… and working and resting together.

Anyways, thank you again for all you are doing in the body of Christ. Your work and labour is not going unnoticed by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has your reward and will give it when you get to heaven. That is good news!

God bless you my friend… and thank you one more time, I am full of thanksgiving, truly.

Good morning my dear friend! The LORD is good! And God is not mad at you… God loves you John 3:16 King James Bible “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

I so hope you gather the fullness of that one single verse in the holy scriptures. It, by itself, is more powerful than many say it is. I am beginning to hear, as of October last year, that this one single verse is not the answer and not all there is and that there is more than this. I praise Jesus Christ that he didn’t tell the malefactor on the cross next to him there was more than simply believing on him… because if that was so, then that would document the Son of God as a liar… and that is a lie! Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God is the Truth, and there is no lie in him. Jesus in all his glory is perfect and without blame, JESUS is God!

I am a soul winner and an evangelist for the Lord Jesus Christ and his ministry. I also I’m called to build God a church and thus, I am also a founding pastor of Gospel Evangelist Church. This is not an easy thing to do. It’s easy for me to preach and to minister the word of salvation to lost souls. But to build and pastor a real live growing on fire church is not easy… no way. Thus I trust in the Lord Jesus. Period. NOT my understanding.

God bless you my friend. We are building something very special here on earth that is based in Boulder, Colorado. Our little tiny church that is growing is touching people for heaven all around the world… how? IT IS NOT US… IT IS GOD! No man will ever be able to say that they built this church. The Word of God said, he will build his church! That settles it for me. Amen.

GEC—CALENDAR NEWS. — The last day of 2023! Onto the new year of 2024… tally ho! :)

Howdy! God is a good God… and… God is good all the time! (Even if and when he shews his wrath, turn onto JESUS this new year of 2024… and do it by faith, and truly get this done… pray and believe on the Lord Jesus to save you, ask him to save you… just call out in prayer, turning away from the world around you and looking to the Creator of this world… but NOT the god of this world, because that’s the evil one, the deceiver that has been actually capturing your very own soul, even if you didn’t know it or realize it or even believe it… turn to JESUS… now, here is what I prayed, “Jesus, if you’re real, here I am.” Those are my words, but you can use them, that is if they are in your heart. Just use your own words… Jesus is listening right now… and doesn’t matter when you are reading this… just so long as your not dead yet, there is still opportunity to pray, “Jesus, save me!”

I love you man… please, I do.
