What’s GEC—OPEN GATES?

Gospel Evangelist Church — OPEN GATES begin in a simple way through the Nine Tools. The gate needs an servant, a believer filled with the Holy Ghost, who will work in these five categories: STUDY. PREACH. MINISTER. BUILD. FOUNDATION. All the while doing their own daily study of the word of truth. Receiving the word of truth into yourself, along with prayer and intercession, and giving the word of God out to others is how you grow as a minister.
In order to keep our church simple, we sow these same five seeds in different ways for each of the three areas of our church, for example…
STUDY sows all five seeds: BIBLE / APP / TRUTH STUDY / TRACTS / PRAYER BOOK.
GATES sow the same seeds, but fewer: BIBLE / APP / TRACTS / PRAYER BOOK.
CONCOURSE sow even fewer seeds: BIBLE / APP / TRACTS.
The idea here is, that this might keep the entire process of building our church simple enough, with the entire design laid within our GEC—Manner of Prayer Outline, in this way, it may be possible that all of us can do our individual calling that God has on our life, and do it within the framework of Gospel Evangelist Church. At least that’s the idea!

The STUDY builds the GATES. The gates are the entrance to the CONCOURSE. Along the way, the servant, a believer filled with the Holy Ghost, leads lost souls to repent and obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Then the new believer begins their own STUDY of the word of truth; with these five seeds sown throughout all GEC:
BIBLE / APP / TRUTH STUDY / TRACTS / PRAYER BOOK.
This work begins building “one accord” — “one language” — “one speech” in the new believer. Thus Gospel Evangelist Church is of “good doctrine”… as it is written:
If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

AS OF JULY 2024: As far as I can tell at this point and around this month, not sure of the exact date yet, the Holy Ghost has had us begin going from “house to house” and after many weeks coming back to our church house/room where we all gather together. This begins the real church grow that the Holy Ghost wants, because GEC is in instructed to build using the Home Cell Group System, you may read about this in Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho’s book “Successful Home Cell Groups” (Here is one source of the book.) (And the reviews appear to be enthusiastic, still after all these years!) Copyright 1981-19xx. This is still available and in print. AS OF July 7, 2023: (As of this date, we are continuing to meet at our present church house location.) The Holy Ghost has directed us to keep the people together in our Wednesday house church until he directs us further. Therefore, as we have crossed over the 20 people, we will be staying together, waiting upon the Lord. If you would like to attend our house church, please contact Preacher John for information. As stated above, we are currently going house to house in our church. These are our Wednesday night church gatherings, assembling in one of our brethren homes, doing this each Wednesday, then the last Wednesday of the month meeting at our own church house off Jay Road, including the Lord’s supper and soon, when needed, water baptism. PURCHASE A KING JAMES BIBLE.
Are you looking for a nice King James Bible; here are the two bible publishers that I have purchased my King James Bibles from, both are excellent, and both of these publishers use the preferred Cambridge text block. Be alert to who the publisher is; certain and other publishers, will change and alter the King James text to fit their desires. Be cautious. These are good publishers: Local Church Bible Publishers. The other is Church Bible Publishers. A possible third resource that I get a lot of KJV information from is Bible Study Tools and Bible Version Information. Here at The Bible Museum is where I obtained a 1611 King James Bible First Edition Facsimile. This is a beautiful bible and it’s the first printing “he” bible! These bibles here are worth their price and highly valued because the King James Bible is “the word of God” and no other version is the truth… yes, I know that is difficult to accept in light of the multitude of easy-to-read versions in the marketplace. BE ALERT MY FRIEND ~ TRULY!
CLARIFICATION.
Gospel Evangelist Church, LLC uses just one (1) single version of the Holy Bible in ENGLISH. And not the other 900 or so, English language bibles… and that is the Authorized King James Version… this is what is required in our GEC Truth STUDY. No other version is accepted. There’s more to the reason why the KJV than is currently realized. Soon there will be a detailed study that will be able to further your understanding on this all important topic of bible versions, critical texts, and modern translations, including but not limited to, the Hebrew and Greek bibles. This entire topic will be covered as we progress through the year, and will be fully discussed in the second year of study. If you would like though, I have an extensive list of material and resources that will explain why the KING JAMES BIBLE, KJV, and NONE of the modern versions; for examples: NIV, NASB, ESV, NKJV, TPT, NLT, MSG, AMP, ASV, RSV, NET, NJB, JB, DRA, CEV, CJB, DBY, GNB, LB, NAS, and the list goes on and on, every year more textual critical bibles are copyrighted and printed for distribution and sales, world wide. This is a very serious matter in the body of Christ. And not to be taken lightly, without concern. I’ve been in a seven year long study of this matter, it’s an exhaustive study, and extremely complicated, to say the least. You’re welcome to contact me. Thank you for your temperance.

Gentle note with patience: This entire missionary ministry church website is in a continual work of updating and refining and polishing and renewal. Today will probably be different than last month.
