Lord, you have promised that if we are faithful to the end, trusting you just as we did when we first became Christians, that we will share in all that belongs to Christ. Give to my friend this kind of faithfulness.
Scripture reference: Hebrews 3.14
David’s Prayer – 1 Chronicles 29.10-13
David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,
Praise be to you, O Lord, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the spendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.
Sunday Wealth
By carefully reading, the scripture references above, can you begin to understand the power, of acknowledging that God Almighty owns everything? God always has, from everlasting to everlasting!
In Psalm 24.1, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it…”
In Romans 14.8, “If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
In Matthew 6.33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
In Luke 12.20-21, “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.”
Why Do I Say Sunday Wealth
Born again Christians recognize that the Sabbath is Saturday. This is the day that God rested from His creating, as recorded in Genesis. Now, the story changes when the Son of God – Jesus Christ of Nazareth – has risen from the grave . . . this day is Sunday! We Christians call it, The Lord’s Day! He Has Risen!
The Lord Jesus Christ our Savior! I love YOU Jesus!!
Sunday is such a special day, and since Jesus is first, then the first day of the week is Sunday! All the wealth and all the honor come from Him! Thus, I call this “Sunday Wealth”.
What Is Wealth – Sunday Wealth
“The American Heritage Dictionary – Wealth: An abundance of valuable material possessions or resources; riches. The state of being rich; affluence. All goods and resources having economic value. Wealthy: Having wealth; rich; prosperous. Rich: Possessing great material wealth. Having great worth or value. Magnificent. Sumptuous. Abundant. Abounding. Very productive. Containing a large amount of choice ingredients.”
As you read what a secular dictionary would define as wealth, I would like to strongly suggest that wealth is not of this world. The real wealth each of us need is that which is in Heaven. The Word is clear that we are to lay up treasure (wealth) in Heaven, not on this earth. People, touch people for Heaven, bringing people with you when you come to Heaven is the real wealth. So may ask, are you bringing people with you? Well? It takes enormous faith… all the way to the end.
A Prayer For You
Lord, you have promised that if we are faithful to the end, trusting you just as we did when we first became Christians, that we will share in all that belongs to Christ. Give to my friend this kind of faithfulness.
Scripture reference: Hebrews 3.14
The Abundance of God
By truly trusting the Lord we can be touched in such a powerful way that we begin to be filled with the abundance of God’s Spirit and all that The Holy Spirit brings to us. You see, when Jesus returned to Heaven, God sent the Holy Spirit to be with us, to teach us, to give, to help, to instruct and to guide us in all things pertaining to God and to Heaven. Would you deeply and sincerely consider your own wealth, Sunday Wealth?
I think that being set strong in the ways of the Lord will shore us up for whatever the devil can throw at us. This takes a lot of faith. But we also know that faith pleases God. Even when using a formula! It seems to me that by pleasing God, there could be some things that come our way that may not have been without this faith.
I see faith and trust as tremendous attributes of a Christians life. Trust had been a difficult thing for me for many years. However, I kept seeking God to help me in building my trust. Trust is important to faith. When trust is not present then faith struggles. Even in human relationships, when trust is broken, so is the relationship.
When faith is weak or non-existent, spiritually speaking, then we struggle with the Word of God, with God’s direction and even with God’s Word. A faith in movement could be owning and writing a blog like this!
Sunday Wealth Is Everywhere
Look about you right now! What do you see? I mean, really! Look around you and see all the wealth that is everywhere around you. It doesn’t really matter where you are sitting right now; be it in the mansion or under the bridge or in your car or even the tent that you might live in, down by the river. Wealth is everywhere! Therefore, as my brother Michael would happily say, “Life is Good, Be Happy & Keep Smiling!” Visit Michael’s blog here! All That You Are Is Tremendous
Your wealth and prosperity is inside you and all that you are is of tremendous wealth! You are the most precious of all human beings, and of all animals, and of all earth’s abundance . . . combined together! You, my friend, are wealthy. I am glad to know you! Thank you for being here on my blog. Thank you for sharing the majesty of salvation with your own friends and family. Please let them know the way of salvation, because you just don’t know.
God Says What?
My Friend, above all else, I pray for your salvation! I want you to be in Heaven! In John 3.16 God says very clearly that if you simply believe – Jesus is Lord – you shall have eternal life – Heaven!
Peace and Good Will. See ya on Sunday! :)
Connect With Jesus at John 3.16?
Lord, my friend is like a sheltered olive tree protected by You. May my friend trust in Your mercy forever and ever.
