Greetings my dear friend!
Welcome to a new year of our Lord, the year 2026 A.D. “Anno Domini” — “In the year of our Lord” and you know what, I like that! I want to give all the credit and glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
But I hear so many Christians say, Yea but, that is Catholic or of the Gregorian calendar and not the real dates or times, or whatever they need to say to sow doubt.
I don’t listen to the doubters, the workers of iniquity anymore. I just don’t, and now after so many years of giving a deaf ear to them, I can clearly see and understand their fallacy.
It’s crazy to me!
Job 34:22 (KJV16) There is no darkenes, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquitie may hide themselues.

The way I see this word and action “study” is a bit different than maybe many others, and that is because of my extremely low I.Q. I personally must give all of myself to learn a subject, whereas, many of whom I’ve met need only given some of their effort to learn something and they got it! But not me, I must read it, I must hear it, I must pray it, I must ask for help, I must write as much as possible about what it is that I’m learning. And here you may see why I have the Truth Study logbook built the way it is, it’s for the least of these. That’s me!
Thank you sincerely for your patience with me, because there are so many limitations in my personal life that I must continually overcome, because nothing I’ve ever done in my life is easy, everything has been hard and difficult and nearly impossible in the beginning.
And all this is due to my early childhood sickness of Scarlet Fever with complications wherein I was told, or rather my Mom was told, that I had 12 hours to live. This extreme fever and many complications that was leading to my death wrecked havoc inside this body of mine, because I was in the early part of my third grade, I was still developing and thus many internal things got messed up. And that is my lot that I must bear, and that is why I must trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ by his holy Spirit for all my help in every thing. Amen.

“Lord Jesus, thank you for giving us another chance, another opportunity in life to receive you as our Saviour. We are so grateful and thankful for you and for your ministry to us. We thank you that you stand before the Father on our behalf, interceding as a mediator an advocate to the Father for us, your Saints, your Bride. We love you so very much Jesus, we love you more than these words can speak. And Father we thank you for sending your only begotten Sonne to give his life so that all who believe and trust in Jesus shall be saved. And thank you holy Spirit for giving us the power to become the sons of God, the born again children of our Father which art in Heaven. Dear friend, Putting thoughts down on paper, or rather online electronically, takes a certain level of understanding of who you are talking to, and what I mean is, I personally want to only talk to you, friend, and this is one of the main reasons why that I asked you to put your first name is the form to sign up for this letter, because I believe that names and nicknames are important, not so much handles, which are more of a hidden name for the person online so they can hide and not be seen, and I suppose there are situations that that would be necessary.
I’ve been thinking about having each person take another look at their subscription to this Sunday Prayer letter and ask themselves if this is how I want to be known and addressed.
My desire is only first names, or a nickname that is normal, whatever that means. I know that in this year 2026 that this letter well increase to more people than ever before, and I want to be personal, as best that I can in this type of median. I don’t want to be impersonal and unrelatable, but rather one that could be more like a friend sort of… I do hope you know what I mean. This is all because I really care, that is my fatherly self, and my caring self from my childhood the way I was born, which is to serve, not to be served. That’s me.
With first names, the identity may not be known, however this is why I really don’t want anyone’s last name unless that is what they want, like me, I want to use my whole name, and often times, my first middle and last, Robert John Choque, I want to be totally visible, nothing hidden, but that’s me and the ministry of the Lord in my life.
I realize this may not make sense as you read this. What I’m referring to is in the future when people who are not of us will begin hunting down the people that confess Christ as Saviour. This is the latter days or end times or maybe in the tribulation of the earth?
So the reason is to keep hidden the people in this ministry and only bring attention to me and the leaders of Gospel Evangelist Church. In this way we protect our people the Lord has given us to shepheard and to steward for him.
The other reason I talk this way is that I feel responsible to God for all that he has given me, and this includes the people of Gospel Evangelist Church, yes I’m not the Church Pastor, but I am the preacher and builder of this certain church, working under and in the Chief Builder, the Lord Jesus Christ who has “hired” me to do this work, it’s my calling of God. I show myself faithful to God, by being willing, and by obediently doing what he has asked me to do. I’m a servant of God, a priest of God, and of the royal Priesthood of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Letter hope: As I’m begin to write this week’s letter, I actually start at the end of the letter and then go up, weird, I know; I’m reminded of a Scripture that talks about being faithful with the least, well, this letter is that for me, it’s big but it’s small and it seems to be continually a challenge for me and I don’t yet know why.
