“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and go out into the world and preach and teach and heal all who are distressed and lacking in understanding and oppressed of the devil. Teach the word of truth, never speak of the lies, only speak of the truth. Lord Jesus, we pray and we speak with you listening as we pray… send us again O LORD to do the work of the ministry, giving all the glory and praise to our Father which art in heaven. With all humility and lowliness do we pray to you Lord Jesus, our Saviour and our Advocate with the Father. We love you JESUS… yes, forever and ever we love you. Amen.”

GREETING.
Good morning my friend! Hasn’t this summer been going by fast? It seems like just a few days ago it was winter! I know that sounds weird, but when you’re in your seventh decade on earth, time takes on a different value than say a twenty something would see.
Time is truly all we have, and it is actually the most valuable thing that we do have… I say it this way, because without time we would not be able to receive Christ. What? Why? Because we don’t get born again at age 1 day old… nor even at 1 year old… and often times, not until we are in our twenties or maybe later do we realize that we are empty and powerless and that life is not what we thought it would be when we were sixteen!
So this is one reason why I say that time is extremely valuable… because God is longsuffering, he gives us nearly our whole life to turn to him through his Son Jesus Christ for our salvation by faith.
2 Peter 3:9 (KJB) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
One of the most amazing things that the Lord has me doing is these Sunday Prayer Letters. This thing is so full of the presence of the Holy Spirit… even if you don’t see it, I see it… and I know it… because as I write all the different parts to this letter, I am overwhelmed with the Spirit’s presence, as he has me writing.
This doesn’t mean that what I am writing is “thus saith the LORD”, no, this says, that I am in prayer as I write and I know in my spirit that the Spirit of truth is in me and around me, and many many many times as I write these letter over the several hours is takes me, I oft times jump up from my chair and give glory to God and praise him with all my life… even now as I write, I sense the Spirit of God with me… this is so very very special to me… and I so hope one day that you too my friend would be this close to the Comforter.
…. you see, I just now, minutes ago, had to get up and pray and praise the Lord… there is something so very and utterly special about being in the perfect will of God. My dear friend, I so hope that you seek the Lord till you can’t live without him… ever. Amen.
John 14:26 (KJB) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

“Dear God, help my friend here. Be with my friend as he seeks you in prayer. May your presence be all around him and in him. May you meet all his needs. O LORD, touch my friend and give him the joy he so deeply desires, yes, even if he doesn’t realize it. I so pray earnestly and thank you for answered prayer, in your holy name JESUS. Amen.”

PRAYER.
In the name of the Lord Jesus.
“Lord Jesus, thank you for showing us your glory and your long-suffering with us as we go and preach your word. Thank you Lord for giving us your holy Spirit for power to preach and to minister. Thank you Holy Spirit for giving us power to witness and to deliver your gifts to the people as you see the need. Father, receive our praise and glory, for without you none of this would happen. Glory to God in the highest. Amen.”

Remembrance. Prayer.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

REMEMBRANCE.
As I was just going through this week’s verses, I was struck by the severity of each of the verses. You know, this year that we have been preaching on “FIRE” has been one of the toughest years for me personally in a very long time. I’ve been hurt many times this year. I’ve had some very tough struggles this year. And it’s interesting to me, that all these things seem to be outside of me and not inside of me like they normally are.
This all tells me that the Devil is against me and us, and that what we are preaching is bothering him and he doesn’t like it. Now, for most of the Christians this makes no sense, because they know so very little about the Devil. In fact they can’t even name some of his names, nor who he is… and to top it off, many might think he doesn’t even exist except in their imagination. Can you believe that?
Also what I see in these verses is that God is not messing around, and that he is serious about his creation. And we can also see that the Devil is also serious about what he is doing, and that is deception and attempting by every means allowed for him to test and to try the believer.
This is one thing that I see very clearly since coming out to the streets to preach in the public. Never in any church building have I seen what I see on the street, out where the people are. This thing that Christians are only to be in churches, meaning buildings, is accepted by the vast multitude of believers.
I too, accepted this… but not really, because I didn’t get saved or baptized in a church. I was out in the field where everyone is… not in some “club” environment.
Therefore my dear friend please consider outreaching where you are and into the lives of people all around you. Somehow, find out what and where they stand spiritually, and then ask them about heaven and hell, and then about salvation, and about God… they must believe that God is, then they are more easily receptive to calling out to JESUS in prayer to be saved.
Luke 9:1-2 (KJB) Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
PRAYER.
In the name of the Lord Jesus.
“LORD JESUS, save us from our indifference and our lack of desire and interest in the souls of all who are around us each and every day. Help us O LORD to see and to hear and to understand the grave need to witness your love and your salvation through you, Lord Jesus. You paid the price, the wages of sin. You have given all who believe through faith, a free gift from the second death and the lake of fire. Thank you JESUS, we love you. Amen.”
Revelation 20:15 (KJB) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
