“Thank you Lord Jesus for our Sunday Prayer Letter. This one single tool is keeping this street ministry and missionary church in one accord with the word and is helping our ministry to continue moving onward by the power of your holy Spirit. Thank you Holy Spirit for all that you are teaching us and providing. There is so much going on that a simple prayer is not adequate enough. So thank you for all things that we don’t even see that you are doing. We love you Jesus, truly. Amen.”

GREETING.
Hello there my friend! It’s taken nearly all day for me to get to my desk to write this letter, it’s already 5:25pm and I’m just getting started. Sometimes, serving Christ is more work than we realize at times. And when I think about this, my conclusion is, a question to ask: “Are you in the perfect will of God?”
That answer, to that question, will open the eyes to see… at least most of the time. Like I just saw a message from another Christian, and they were telling me in a round about way, that I’m not having fun, because I’m serving Christ to much. And that I need to go have some fun… once again, the implication being that one must be playing in the world to do life right. And what I immediately saw was, a person who has a lot of the world in their life and a little bit of God in their life.
The question then is: How much of God do we need in our life?
Well, for me, and especially in this last season of my life, I, personally speaking, need all of my life, one hundred percent full of God… and in that, God provides to me rest, and relaxation, and time to recover and to be healed from the work… and in all this, I know that I am in God’s perfect will for my life. But for other people and their life, that I don’t know, because that is none of my business, but others seem to think that my life is their business.
So what do I do?
I say, Thank you. God bless you.

“Heavenly Father, as we look to you for our provision and for our salvation through your Son, we seek with all our heart and soul and body and mind and strength, we hold nothing back, but give you all by your Spirit through faith and only by faith not by works. We love you Father, and in your name Jesus we humbly pray. Amen.”

REMEMBRANCE.
So often when I write these letters, remember that I’ve written well over two hundred and fifty letters, this is number 0274 (the reason I put the zero in front of the number is to have a place holder for when I reach the one thousand mark, 1000.)
When I started these letters in December 2018, I was reading and looking through many of a very famous pastor in England, and he had preached over 4,000 sermons, and his sermons were in a many volumes… they people who compiled his letters and sermon notes began to number them and they needed to start with 0001, because of the numbering system. Therefore, when I began these, I saw that one day I too will reach the one thousand number and wanted to keep all the letters and sermons in numerical order, thus I needed to start with 0001.
You see, I don’t look at one day at a time. I really don’t know if I’ve ever lived that way, even when I was 8 or 9 or 10 years old, and even at 5, I remember thinking through my whole life and seeing the end from the beginning. I know, that sounds weird, and it feels weird, but that’s just the way God built me, I suppose. Because I don’t know of any person or book or course that ever taught me this.
This type of thinking is what isolates me from most people, because I see so far ahead and thus live different than most people. Yes, there has been many times in my life that I was all about the here and now, and whenever I fell into that trap, I suffered greatly… and I mean every time that I thought like the majority of people, it was as if, God chastened me… and some times rather harshly.
And now, at this time in my life, and for well over a decade now, life has taken on a calmer more patient stance. The cares of this world, the pleasures of this world, and the temptations of this world don’t typically have any pull on my life… but that is not to say, never, because that would be false.
As I, and we, live in our physical bodies, and on this earth, life will always be scattered or filled, depending on where someone is in life, with trials and tribulations and tests of all sorts.
Therefore, let’s simply ask the Holy Ghost for help and for comfort, and that he would teach us how to live for Christ and the kingdom of God as we live our daily lives of occupying till Christ returns.
And yes, easier to say than to do… we can do something that moves us closer to our surrender of our life to God… so why not start now as you read this letter?
