CONSIDER THIS: When you pray, do you also listen? I mean really, think about it… are we listening as we are talking to God? This may be a new idea to you, this may even be something to consider in your prayer life… and that is, listening to God.

My good and dear friend,
When we start on new journey’s, sometimes there are adjustments to be made, and that is normal. And even here in our letter and in our ministry and in our church and even in our daily life with Christ… as the season unfolds, the Holy Ghost ready’s us to be prepared for the coming new season.
I so love the verse in Amos when he declared by the power of the Spirit, “…prepare to meet thy God…” I so can relate to that word.
One of the many reasons why I like that verse is that I enjoy getting ready for a trip. The two main things I love about traveling is the getting ready and leaving, and the coming home. The actual trip is a non event to me, probably because I’ve spent nearly all my life traveling… I still love the getting ready and the coming home part, because the Lord still has me traveling, but just not all over the country.
I travel very short distances to the neighboring cities of Boulder, and sometimes I travel several hours away from Boulder, but always, so far currently, in the state of Colorado, of which I am called to build Gospel Evangelist Church.
Therefore, I think that enjoying the work of the process of the Spirit getting us ready and prepared is important. Because if we don’t enjoy the work then we may quit and go do something else, which may probably be something in this world, and that as we know, does not prepare us to meet God. Does it?
Amos 4:12 (KJB) Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
1 Thessalonians 5:2 (KJB) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
James 4:10 (KJB) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

LET’S PRAY.
In the name of the Lord Jesus.
“Lord Jesus, we thank you for hearing our prayers. Thank you for giving us confidence that on that day when we are absent from our body, that we should be present with you O Lord. We love you and appreciate all that you have done and are doing and will be doing throughout eternity without end. And we wholly thank you for your holy Spirit that dwells within us and gives us the power to witness of your glory and of your word and of your miracles. Thank you Holy Spirit for your love. We love you and we love you Jesus. Amen.”
2 Corinthians 5:8-10 (KJB) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Romans 15:30 (KJB) Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
4. BUILD.
“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
—Mark 16:20 King James Bible.

The first verse in this week’s schedule Book Seven : Day 183 of scripture study, reads thus…
Psalm 83:1 (KJB) Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
Silence. Some of us don’t like silence. And we may sometimes, as king David witnessed, that God himself may be silent at times. When that happens, it is like we know that God is silent for a very good reason.
In my own life, when I understand this, I recognize that I probably did something that was against God’s word, called sin.
Whenever we sin, disobey, we oftentimes hear silence from God. In that silence we feel in our spirit and body a conviction and in that we repent and ask for forgiveness.
This act of asking for forgiveness is a charter building and spirit building work. Forgiveness is so powerful that even our very life depends upon it. And even the only begotten Son of God asked forgiveness for the people round about the cross as he hung awaiting death.
Forgive my friend, never hold onto unforgiveness. In doing that, we hurt ourselves, not immediately, but over time… because it takes time for seed to germinate to sprout and to grow. By repenting immediately, that seed cannot germinate and begin its growing process.
Therefore, silence can be good sometimes, because it may begin a dialogue with God that may change our life and touch people for heaven.
Truly, amen. And remember, that I love you, because of Christ.
Psalm 35:22 (KJB) This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
Psalm 50:3 (KJB) Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
Psalm 109:1 (KJB) Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
In faith and love,
—JC.
2 Timothy 1:13 (KJB) Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
2 John 1:6 (KJB) And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Jude 1:21 (KJB) Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Amen, and Amen.
