GREETING.

Greeting my dear friend! Hope this past week was good to you. It sure was good for me, because I didn’t get hurt the whole week!! Yay! Although, still some residue pain in the lower back from getting hurt up in Fort Collins, Colorado and then again in Denver, Colorado. Oh well, I suppose that is another price we pay for preaching the gospel out on the streets in the world of the public, and not in a seclude closed in and walled environment to the same people week after week, (if you know what I mean).

There truly is some thing very different about the ministry when the Lord sends you out to the public to preach his word. For one thing, people know what you are doing, and the people who don’t want you there, they too know what you are doing… but here is the weird part, they don’t believe in God and they are some of the most emotionally charged people… I mean really, if you don’t believe in some thing, then why would you have so much emotion about that which you don’t believe in???????

Isn’t that the weirdest thing? I’m not emotional about anything I don’t believe it, because why? It’s not real. But as we all know, if we’re all believers, and if you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, this would be a perfect time right now to pray… yes, go ahead and ask God in prayer to come into your life and set you free from all that bondage and pain you’re carrying around… simply give it to Jesus… go ahead and pray… I’ll wait……

When we pray, there is some thing deep down inside of us that gets moved, we call it our spirit. Yes, you and I are spirits living inside a natural house called a body, or earth suit, a temple, a house of sorts that we live in. When we pass away, this house goes back to the dust and we move onward to our new home, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting death. Do you know what will happen to you?

What you see and hear me do so often in the ministry is talk about leading others to Christ, or what I usually say and that is, soul winning… because to be a soul winner is the wisest thing any believer could possibly do. It is the only action that makes all the hosts of heaven rejoice, I mean they get excited when another person turns to Christ and becomes born again… it’s truly joy in heaven over one sinner that repents!!

If this is true, and it is… then why would I want to teach you how to make more money? Or how to buy a bigger house, or even more prestige in your community, and or have your best life now. And to me, now in this part of my life that seems to be full of the wisdom of God, I say that is all a stupid waste of time! (Now, that probably really offended you, sorry, it’s true.)

Yes, I obviously believe we must occupy our world as we wait upon the Lord, but as we go to school, get a job, a career, or build a business… or whatever in life you want to do… in all that you are doing, you are still a believer, called to go and preach the gospel of Christ. This here is soul winning!

Our house, money, vacations, holidays, clothes, jewelry, retirement plans, and marrying plans and even our burial plans… they all truly have no value in heaven! The only value and treasure you can take with you is souls won and touched for heaven. Nothing else!

Even your football, baseball, soccer, and all the ball sports, including golf for all you retired guys out there… that golf game means nothing in heaven, no matter how much fun it is. That’s a cold stone fact of the matter. Believe it or not.

What I’m saying is, stop wasting and squandering you precious gift of time. Every moment that goes by is gone forever. Stop wasting your life by pursuing the riches of this world… and that is to everyone no matter where you find yourself… be in the mansion on the hill or in a blanket under the bushes and on the street, rich or poor… nothing matters, except the treasure we lay up in heaven. Your first treasure is your soul. Period.

NOW… THAT IS GOOD NEWS!

Go to work today serving Christ till your last day here… and you will say thank you to Preacher John when you get there. Because I’ll be there waiting for you, I’m 71 this year and that means I’m in my last season of life here on earth. Therefore, I’ll probably be ahead of you. I love you friend, and appreciate you very much. Truly.

“Lord Jesus, thank you for saving us from the second death, and thank you for giving us life and life more abundantly, simply for the asking and believing. We love you Jesus. Amen.”

Remembrance. Prayer.

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

“Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

REMEMBRANCE.

Numbers 29:13 (KJB) And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:

This is a word that I see continually through all our sermons since the first of the year, and that is: we, as the saints of God, are a sacrifice made by fire of a sweet savour unto the LORD our God, for ever and ever with out end.

What I see may not be what you see. I’m looking at something very specific in the spirit. And this that I’m seeing is inside the word of truth. And as I live and walk and study the truth and even be preaching the truth every day, I see more and more wisdom and understanding and knowledge that I was unaware of just days or weeks earlier. This to me is like a miracle, or a wonder… or maybe a sign following that I am living in the perfect will of God.

Whatever it may be, I’m excited!

Romans 12:2 (KJB) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 

 

 

 

PRAYER.

In the name of the Lord Jesus.

“Thank you God for giving your very best, your only begotten Son, so that us who believe and receive the Son of God, that is the Lord Jesus Christ, may live forever and ever with you in heaven. This is your desire that we see, that no man should perish but receive eternal life through Christ. Thank you for giving us eternal life and helping us by your holy Spirit to live in your good and acceptable and perfect will. We love you Jesus. Amen.”

Ephesians 5:17 (KJB) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
