Deuteronomy

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil . . .

In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgements, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Deuteronomy 30:16 KJV

Deuteronomy

‘These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.’ -Deuteronomy 1:1 KJV

This verse following is one I use often in my gospel tracts: ‘I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: . . .’ -Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

From this verse I talk about choices and the consequences of the decision. Often times I give a few stories that talk about Jesus and Satan and Heaven and Hell. I want people to know that heaven is their choice and not God’s choice. They, personally must decide their future. Faith is paramount in making such a choice. This is one reason God favors people who exemplify faith! (Read the Book of Hebrews, Chapter 11) Faith is not a small matter to God. Study God’s Word and grow in Faith!
