GREETING.
Hey there my friend! Here it is… this week’s Sunday Prayer Letter… and for some reason, the Holy Ghost wanted to put a lot of scriptures in this letter… much more than normal, and I don’t know why… but it’s all good, because holy scriptures provide to us more that we currently understand. It’s just the way it is I think… and more scriptures are being revealed to us as the days go by, at least to us who are hungry and thirsty for the word of God and his righteousness.
Last week, July 21 through July 26 (2024), I was in Burlington, Colorado. It was a hundred degree heat and heavy smoke every day with little wind to stay cool, and little shade. However, the Lord Jesus Christ provided opportunity to do a wonderful work in Burlington for his kingdom. It was a very very fruitful trip.
Because of the weather and this old body, I was totally spent when I returned, and thus was unable to write last week’s letter… and for that, I sincerely apologize. I’m always asking the Lord for his help, and direction on how to serve my best to him.
Even in this week’s letter, you may notice a few changes. This is a small example of my continual asking of the Lord for his perfect will in all that I’m doing in the kingdom of God. That is just the way I am, I want to give my all in every thing that the Lord has me doing… especially in this last season of my life.
I’ve learned how to number my days as the scripture says, and I’ve learned how to walk in his word of truth, and I’ve also learned what not to do! Yea, there are lots of things that I used to do that was not good and didn’t produce an harvest like I was thinking it should.
But nonetheless, I continue onward toward the high calling of God on my life and ministry that the Lord Jesus Christ has me in. And for this, I am eternally thankful for the Lord’s presence in my life and for him giving me opportunity to enter into his presence… even this day as I write… the presence of God is heavy in my home, and church office of Gospel Evangelist Church. All to the glory of God the Father. Amen.

PRAYER.
In the name of the Lord Jesus.
“Thank you Lord Jesus for giving us opportunity to receive the promise of the Father, the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. Thank you Spirit of God for teaching us the word of truth and providing to us wisdom and understanding and knowledge of the truth. The holy scriptures are truly life giving and by you Holy Spirit we are able to receive this life giving bread, the word of truth. Thank you JESUS. Amen.”

REMEMBRANCE.
When I began writing this letter today, I was quickened to the fact that the Spirit of God is with me. I so love writing this letter on the sabbath, because there is something so very very special that is present and is consistently present every day that I write this Sunday Prayer Letter.
About seven years ago, Friday May 5, 2017, the Lord Jesus asked me to set aside tomorrow as a sabbath rest unto me (the Lord Jesus). And I gladly and happily said yes. However, I had no clue at what this act would provide over time. Thus, I have seen continually that this day, the sabbath, is the most important day of the week for me, personally speaking.
Please also understand, that when the Lord Jesus asked me to do this sabbath rest unto him, it was crystal clear to me that I was not doing this sabbath as a Hebrew/Jewish event. I was impressed to simply begin this sabbath rest when I awoke on Saturday morning, and then continue in the Lord Jesus, resting in his word and in prayer and in fellowship of the Holy Ghost throughout this day. Then when I go to bed this night, the sabbath is done for me. You see, this is not a Hebrew law of any sort. This is by the Spirit of Almighty God, and this willingness and obedience that I have given the Lord Jesus has provided overwhelming and continual evidence that yes, the Lord Jesus Christ asked this of me.
Even this day, that I write the letter, I am overwhelmed and overjoyed with pleasure at being in the presence of God in my home…. Praise and glory to you Almighty God, I love you so very much… help me Lord to love you like you love me… thank you Lord Jesus, thank you.
You see, I was just overtaken by the love of God… this wasn’t made up and contrived to move you to anything… this is me simply being me and being honest and clear in my life as an example to any who desires more from God.
After I had written the previous paragraphs, I left my desk and praised my God, and as I was praising him, I was directed to do something, something that he gave me as a gift to the house, the church office, and I went about opening and setting up this gift from the Lord… truly, the blessing of the LORD is in this home, in this church office, in this church and in this street ministry… there is simply no doubt that God’s hand is on this church and on this ministry and clearly on me as one of his ministers, his servant.
I love JESUS more that I could possibly write here in this letter. And this is why I so often ask of the Lord to help me love him as much as he loves me… because I just can’t seem to get the love I have in me for God out of me in expression of love so that I am satisfied that I have truly loved my God with all of who I am.
And this is my continual prayer before God… and may not be answered or revealed until much later, or even when I get to heaven… because as you know, I am in the very last season of my life on earth. And that is why I am giving everything away that the Lord has built in me over the decades of service in his kingdom. I hope you understand. Thank you my friend, I love you! And I love God!

Thank you Lord God for loving us first and thank you Father for giving us your only begotten Son that would give his life and shed his precious blood for the remission of our sins so that we may believe and receive salvation by faith through Jesus Christ. We love Jesus, our Saviour. Amen.”
