GREETING.

Hello Preacher John! This has been one big ordeal after another after another for the previous 7 weeks… finally, I think I’ve made it to the end of these problems, at least that is my hope.

But enough about me, how are you doing? You are more than welcome to reply to this letter, I answer every reply. (Simply in the email click reply, write your note, click send, and I then receive it.) I do hope all is going well with you and your ministry.

Sometimes we do get ourselves into situations that seem at the moment to not have a solution. By always seeking the Lord Jesus Christ first place, in all that we do, then the Lord gets involved… please know that God is not an automatic God that we never need to say anything and God just automatically does every thing for us. We must always, seek… ask… knock. This is bible and God lives his word.

I realize that this seems elementary or a non-discussion, but what I have seen out in the public since I’ve been made a street preacher is astonishment at the lifestyle of Christians, the believers! Yes, I see the sinners too… but they act normal, they’re sinners… unbelievers, children of the devil, they act just like that… that’s their choice.

However, as saints of God, we must act different that the world. And that is how we do everything! Not just the act of going to church on Sunday’s. Living as a believer, a Christian, we live a different lifestyle. The way we live our life is to be honourable to God. So then let’s ask the question, Are you and I living an honourable life in the presence of Almighty God?

That is not a rhetorical question, it is one of reality and one that must be honestly answered. And that answer is between you and God… not between you and me, nor anyone else. You and I live for God, not for people. We please God. We do not please mankind. However, we do love God. And we love people.

Enough said, I need to stop here… because, this is a hot topic with me, because since I’ve been in the King James Bible, since 2014, I’ve grown to greatly desire to live a holy, pure, and acceptable life before God. And this is not always easy, but it is worth it. I can testify to that. God bless you Preacher John.

Remembrance. Prayer.

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

REMEMBRANCE.

When we look at this week’s title, “I will send a FIRE. (Do you know why?)”, which comes from the book of Amos… we see a continual reference to the fire that God will send. And the question is why does he send this fire?

Well, one answer is in this book of Amos, (first understand that Amos was not a prophet or a priest nor a prophet’s son, no… Amos was a herdman of sheep. How about that, and this should cause every believer who says, they are not called to preach or to minister. God calls everyone in his kingdom to work alongside of him. And this is the message I’ve preached for decades, and that is, get to work!

Going back to our question of why the fire?

Amos 7:4 (KJB) Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

The answer is there in that verse. God is contending the sinners by fire. And in a stretch of our faith and understanding of scripture, we can also see that the reference of God sending fire is a type and shadow of what is to come to the whole world… it’s not here yet, but it is coming.

And this is probably why in Amos 4:12 God tells us all, to prepare and be ready to met God!

In the name of the Lord Jesus.

“O LORD God, we humbly pray that you forgive us, and cleanse us of all unrighteousness, and sanctify us with your Holy Spirit and wash us with your holy word, and cover us with your blood, Lord Jesus. Show us where we may need to repent and ask forgiveness. Help us to prepare to meet you on your terms, not ours. We, your saints, desire to be holy and pure and righteous. And we humbly ask in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.”

Amos 4:12 (KJB) Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
