Teaching And Preaching The Gospel Of The Kingdom

Matthew 4:23 (KJV) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Teaching And Preaching The Gospel Of The Kingdom – Matthew 4:23 – Dec 31, 2018 Monday.

Matthew 4:23 (KJV) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

This morning is my Morning Prayer time, today was a little over two hours; (Note, do you pray my friend or do you not make talking with God that important unless there is a tragedy or big problem that you can’t solve, only then do you turn to God? This is how many people think. They believe that they are to solve all the issues and if by chance they can’t, only then do they turn to God in prayer. I’ve seen this so many times it seems normal to hear people talk like this.) Just to note, that I use the SwordSearcher Bible Software (not a paid endorsement) to write my discourses.

Talking to God in prayer every moment

Well, this is definitely not the manner in which I live. I’m talking to God in prayer every moment, sort of. You see, as a baptized in the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11) Christian, I have the power to pray in tongues. This manner of prayer gives room to move around in life as I pray in the Spirit.

Therefore, I don’t very rarely know exactly what to pray for, nor do I know what exactly God wants to do in a given situation, so the best way is to give voice to the Holy Ghost to pray through me.

Doesn’t that sound so much better than what we hear from so many Christians? Namely, saying and teaching that tongues is dead and gone after the last apostle! I can hardly believe that so many believe and teach this…I’m baffled at how they can allow the deceiver to steal this precious gift from all of us, and then feel like they are doing us a favour! Wild isn’t it?

Preaching the gospel of the kingdom

Okay, I need to get back to what I was going to say about our Scripture verse today… Matthew 4:23 (KJV) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. …specifically the key word for me today is, “gospel”…yea, I know, so what does John mean here, he really goes off into wild areas! Hear me out though…

I was praying over GEC Bible School and suddenly, it’s as if I could hear…”it’s not bible, it’s gospel, because of the misinterpretations of the modern versions that people will pick up and study because you said bible…use the word “gospel” because it’s even in the church name…Gospel Evangelist Church…and by using “gospel” you will stand out and be known for God’s Word being taught and preached!” (This is sort of what I heard, not word-for-word, okay?)

God’s word shows us

The word “gospel” does not mean “good news”, that is a new age modern misinterpretation. Gospel is two words joined together coming from the foundation of our English language. “Go” is the word “God” and “spel” is the word spell or word. Therefore, we get the word “Gospel”, meaning “God’s Word”. (There are many verses that say this: Romans 10:16-17 and 2 Corinthians 4:2-3 and 2 Timothy 2:8-9.) Now look again at our verse… Matthew 4:23 (KJV) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Do you see it?

Looking closely and diligently at God’s word shows us, that is if you’re reading from the Authorized Version, King James Bible; God is precise and exact in his meanings and word choices. This is also a belief only if you are a Bible Believer!

Typically, in today’s world of new age and new world order and the underground river of Rome this is not possible. You are not allowed to fully believe your bible because it is not the original authored writings. Thus a wave of doubt and disbelief in just exactly and precisely what the Word of God says. Therefore, God’s Word is not their “Standard”, no it can’t be, because it keeps changing in this new age. The Scripture says, God does not change…Hebrews 13:8 (KJV) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Do you see it? It’s very clear, black and white!

Went teaching and preaching the gospel

Going into today’s Scripture: Matthew 4:23 (KJV) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. We can see that our Saviour, who we follow as Christians, went teaching and preaching the gospel (GOD’S WORD) …and healing all (ALL) manner of sickness and all (ALL) manner of disease among the people. The whole context is of the ministry of the word of which I’ve talked about before. Note: as usual I use VerseClick™ to highlight every verse in my blog post.

As Christians, we can follow the example that our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ set forth for each of us. The catch is to believe…the catch is not to doubt. Do you get it? Doubt will not provide the answers you’re looking for when teaching and preaching. However, faith and belief in our Saviour and his words will produce the miracles, signs and wonders (Hebrews 2:4 (KJV) God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?) that we need in our daily life and the life of people around us everyday! My friend, really take to heart the words of God. They are Life and Eternity to everyone who believes!

Scripture that relates

Let me place a few more key verses of Scripture that relates to what we’re talking about here:

Matthew 24:14 (KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Luke 4:18 (KJV) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Romans 10:15 (KJV) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Psalm 103:3 (KJV) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Acts 5:16 (KJV) There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Acts 10:38 (KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

After being born again we can receive

And to sum up how we each are to live…after being born again we can receive this gift from the Father…the gift of the Holy Ghost…

Matthew 3:11 (KJV) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

The Word of God, sometimes it overwhelms me

Once again, there is so much in the Word of God that sometimes it overwhelms me. Not exactly, but it’s like I see a vista prairie with and an unlimited horizon. Thank you Lord for touching each one of us with your glory and your majesty! You alone are the Great God and Comforter to whom we all cry Abba Father! (Romans 8:15 (KJV) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.) To you LORD be all Glory and Honour forever and ever. Amen!

God bless you and have a wonderful day! (As David Daniels of Chick Publications would say!)

About JOHN CHOQUE.

THANK YOU for your faith. I preach, minister, and build from a perspective of living on the road as a trucker for most of my life, forty years and well over three million miles. The road is a hard lifestyle and thus builds a hard preaching style. Being direct and having a mindset that says, I may never see you again, puts grit into my ministry. People either like it or they don't. Turn onto JESUS! Because, this may be your last chance! We just don't know what's around the next bend in the road... or in our life, is that right? Now, simply call out to JESUS like the Holy Bible says in Acts 2:21 KJB.

For me, this is a big deal…teaching and preaching the gospel! That’s why we have a school that only teaches the Word of God. The Gospel is what we teach and what we preach! It’s wonderful and liberating, a very nice free feeling!

DISCLAIMER. This entire missionary church street ministry website is in a constant state of updating, refreshing, revision, and polishing. Our attempt is to be current in the word of truth and to be touching people for heaven in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Things which are not seen are eternal. The content in this website is based upon Preacher John Choque's life with God. Your life with God may be completely different. The one and only source of absolute truth is the word of God; specifically the English translation as authorized by King James I, the Authorized Version 1611, the Holy Bible, now commonly called, the King James Bible. I, Preacher John Choque, completely do not agree with any other English bible other than the Authorized King James Bible, KJB. Perfectly understand, that my experiences and my knowledge of ministry is based upon about fifty years of life as a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Saviour. I am baptized with the Holy Ghost. I speak with new tongues. I have witnessed all signs following as per the gospel of Mark, Sixteen: Fifteen to Twenty. I have witnessed the spiritual gifts of the Holy Ghost as per First Corinthians, Twelve, in my ministry over the decades. The common Christian will generally not have the same results as I do. Why? I think it is because of the peculiar call of God on each Minister's life and Christian's life. Now, this Disclaimer will adjust as greater clarity is gained.
