GREETING.
Good afternoon or evening or morning (smiling) my friend! Can you believe that we are already into the month of July, and it’s already the second week of the month!! This speed of time should give all who are able to discern the times, that things are not the way they use to be… life and things are speeding up through time… not sure how this works, and not sure if it’s just me and my age of three score and ten?
What I do know though, is that the Lord Jesus Christ is who and where he is and what he is doing. Do you know what the Lord Jesus is doing this very moment? If you are not sure, it might be due to lack of the word of truth in your heart… is that so?
Do you know what the will of the Lord is for you and for your ministry? What is the Lord doing now to bring about his will on earth? This too is in the word of truth.
When we study as a minister should study, according to how the Holy Ghost is working in our life and ministry, we will see clearly in the word what the Spirit is doing, and we shall also see what we are to be doing. If this is not so, once again, this may be due to a lack of the word of truth in your heart and mind.
Then, what should we do? Possibly the best thing that we could do is carve out of our twenty four hours about an hour or so to be only with the Lord of hosts. And in this personal time with our Saviour, more of his will for our life may be revealed… and with that will come an assurance of where we are and what we are to be doing in accordance to the word of truth.
The Lord Jesus will never speak against his word… he only confirms or witnesses his word, because his word is true and does not need to be corrected. Do you believe that?
Is God’s word true and without err? Is the bible that you are reading the pure and preserved word of God? Do you honestly believe that the bible that you are reading is the actual word of God? Or is the bible you are reading just another book you are reading and studying along with all the other bibles you read, and all the preachers books that are out there on the book lists of churches, that they say, You must read! Be ware my beloved… be ware!

“Holy Spirit thank you for giving us understanding in the word of truth, and for being in our life and in our ministry. Without you Holy Spirit we could do nothing in the kingdom of God. And with you, we are able, together, to do great and mighty works in the kingdom of God. We love you Holy Spirit, and thank you again for teaching us the word of truth. In your beautiful name JESUS, we humbly pray. Amen.”

Remembrance. Prayer.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

“Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

REMEMBRANCE.
As I was writing up the schedule of locations and corners and cities, I kept thinking and hearing the Lord’s still small voice in my spirit saying, You’re going to be alright, don’t think about the week, just think about right now. (These weren’t the exact words or impression, but it was something like this.)
Oft times, I get a little overwhelmed with the work the Lord is giving me to do to build GEC. And I hear from the Lord most days, that I’m going to be alright… this reassures me that the Lord is with me and that I’m not wondering around and not being effective or doing the will of God.
As we grow in the ministry, the Lord increases our ministry… and here in this increase comes more responsibility and accountability to the truth and to the Lord’s will.
I suppose the reason or rather one of the many reasons why this Sunday Prayer Letter is important to Gospel Evangelist Church is that it outlines for all to see what we are suppose to do out in the field of the Lord’s harvest, and in that, people can easily see if what we are doing is correct, because with this type of work, there should be signs following and some fruit that we can see.
In this, comes the weight of our work in the church of the living God. Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ is building his church, and he uses and works through us to accomplish all that heaven desires. (Using different words here, but I hope you understand what I’m attempting to say?)
When we are able to see what the founding pastor is doing, then it makes it easier to see what direction the church he is founding is heading. The challenge with this is, this is all by faith… and as we all know, faith cannot be seen in of itself… we only see the results of the faith, and faith is doing, not speaking.
Doing and working and serving out in the field is not for the labourers who don’t like the heat of the day. Therefore, most of the labourers in the field are there by willingness and obedience, fully trusting in the Lord that it’s all going to be okay… this takes much faith, and is not for the faint of heart. Amen.
Proverbs 3:5 (KJB) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
James 2:18 (KJB) Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
PRAYER.
In the name of the Lord Jesus.
“Lord Jesus, thank you for helping us and teaching us how to trust in you and to not lean on our own understanding. This is sometimes difficult, but by your holy Spirit the power to do is provided, by faith. And thank you Holy Spirit for giving us what we need to work and to know what to do next, and for helping us to give all the glory to God the Father. We love you JESUS. Amen.”
