JOHN CHOQUE. March 3, 2016 —JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

There are times and then there are other times when sitting and simply relaxing while working is the best use of your time.

Why then are there times that seem to alter the attitude or mind set in such a manner that this time a cynical or negative attitude prevails? Simple question. But not a simple answer. Oh no, if you are thinking, why yes it is a simple easy answer, then walking in another man’s (or woman’s) moccasins is the next order of activities on the to-do list.

Personally, depression can sneak up behind me and bury me. Thank the Lord I have peace in God. I also have a lot of experience in this area. For many many years now, I have been able to pop right out from under that darkness and into light. It does take a little time, though.

I write here as a Journal entry for Wednesday March 2, 2016. I’m in the semi-truck parked in Weed, CA getting ready for bed. It’s very windy! But I feel secure and safe in the rig. I am fortunate to have a very nice and comfortable rig to operate. No darkness. Only the light of Jesus in the truck!

Lord, you are my Light and my Savior! Thank you for protecting me through the night. In Your Name, Jesus! Amen.
