Every One Knows 250 People
Every One Knows 250 People, it’s just the way of life. We live with people all around us for our entire life. Count 250 people! You’ll see…
Hey guys, here’s something to consider…
In a famous sales book, by the Guinness World Records holder, Joe Girard, he talks about what he calls, Girard’s Law of 250. This “law” states that every one of us knows 250 people.
Weddings…250 guests
Funerals…250 attendees
Baptisms…250 people
Graduations…250 people
The way I see it, why not gather the contact info of 250 people into a contact manager. Now connect with each person with some sort of appreciation or greetings or prayer or thinking of you or you’re awesome or I care about you…you know something unique and genuine…get the idea? (Remember, that to actually touch someone for heaven, they must hear about Jesus as their Savior. That’s the part most people don’t want to talk about. However, without Jesus, nothing truly matters or will last for eternity, nor be layed up in heaven…as per Matthew 6.20.)
250 People at Least 4 Times a Year
Connect or touch each of the 250 people at least 4 times a year, or so, about every 3 months or 2 months or just when you feel lead to…
Remember to go through this list daily, scanning for when the Holy Spirit lets you know…”stop and pray over this person”.
Reach out often enough so that every person knows who you are and is open to visiting with you for any reason…because they trust you and recognize your consistency. You’re predictable!! You’re dependable!!
Building People Up as a Ministry – Because Every One Knows 250 People
I Corinthians 14 talks about edifying or building people up as a ministry. To exhort and to comfort is a key ministry. Think about doing this with all 250 key people you communicate with every couple months.
If these 250 are key people (people who are connected to just 40 people), that would mean that you could actually be touching for heaven, about 10,000 people on an ongoing basis!!
If just 1% becomes a key builder or connector or minister, we’re talking about touching one million people for heaven each year!! Over a ten year period, that is ten million people!! Think about a “tithe” on this…10% is 1,000,000 people who make a decision for Jesus Christ!!! One million people who are going to heaven because you lived!! You are a Very Important Person!! You are a VIP…
Touch One Million People for Heaven
It is fully possible that every one of us can touch one million people for heaven in our lifetime. I’m talking about making this a cornerstone of our lives. Please read carefully, Matthew 6.20…
Think about what this actually means…
I mean take this seriously…
Not casually or entertainly…

P.S. Remember that the most important decision in life you and everyone you know can make is the decision for Christ.
Acts 2.21 says, that every one who calls upon the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth will be saved.
Saved or salvation is inheriting eternal life, which is living eternally with the creator of heaven and earth; Almighty God.
Not being saved, or rather not born-again, is making a decision to NOT inherit life with God, but rather life in eternal death, which is planned for hell or hades or lake-of-sulfur, meaning life without God, that is eternal damnation. My goodness, as I wrote this I felt kind of shaken and disturbed. Because I personally know lots of people who simply will not believe this…how sad.
Pride keeps people in denial, forever!
Turn onto Jesus!
My simple prayer 43 years ago was…
“Jesus, if you’re real, here I am.”

By finding 250 Key People (people who are connected) is a mile marker that will let you know just how close you are to your destination. Any less and the trip is increased and you could miss your appointment. As I wrote this comment to my blog post, I was thinking about all the years of trucking and how things in my way would slow me down and even make me late for my appointment to unload my produce. Well, I’m retired now and building a church in Boulder, Colorado! 250 is the new mile marker for me!! Bless you my friend!!
