“With my iPhone~4S, I captured this Green Moss Growing. The photo was snapped near North Bend, Washington, early morning a few days ago.”
Green Moss Growing
It seems like nature and my life constantly amaze me. Really! This morning was no different. Amazing things seem to appear out of no where. Why? I think things appear because I am alert to my surroundings. I also act like a kid most times. Kids seem to always find the darndest things in the weirdest places. Don’t they? Well, that about describes me too! :)
I love life. I love living it. I cherish the days. And I’m Sixty! Can anyone in their natural mind believe this amazing age? I mean sixty is six decades. Sixty is three times older than my checker at Trader Joe’s today! I made a comment to him about his high energy verses my low energy and how we are forty years apart! He just smiled and rushed off to help the next Trader Joe customer. Yes, life can be most amazing when you allow life to play with you like a kid. Be a kid!
Add God To The Story
Take a long look at the detail in the Green Moss Growing photo. After I took it’s photo I stared in amazement at the intricacy of how God creates. That’s life in a positive manner. I fully realize that there are mountains of negative and tragic, life altering events in our life and the lives of our loved ones. So what do you do? Do you cry forever? Do you just dismiss it (denial)? No. When the bad happens we morn for a season. We take some time to reflect and decide what is best. Remember it’s important to add God into this season. God does know how to comfort. (Psalm 23) Okay?
Green
The word Green is or reminds me of something growing! To grow is to let go of the bad stuff that wants to cling to you or rather us. We must move onward. The song title, “Onward Christian Soldiers” seems somewhat appropriate to mention here. Green could mean the Army. As an Army soldier, you move out and keep moving. Isn’t that right?
Moss
The word Moss, without looking at a dictionary, reminds me of a plant that will grow wherever it can and whenever it can. Moss really doesn’t have any agendas to fulfill. Moss just grows and grows, then keeps growing! Next time you get the chance to look at moss up close, do so! Be like a kid and look at moss. Moss will capture your imagination. Moss can be like a symbol of eternal growth. It’s mission … grow!
Growing
My friend I think this thing about Green Moss Growing could be something important to you. Maybe not, but you know it is an interesting thing to write a blog post about. It’s 3:29 AM, I’m just off my trip from Seattle and wired with adrenaline from my trip. Why not write a post about green growing ever living ever expanding moss? :)
Our mind has been expanded just a little bit more in the last few minutes of reading my article. Plus now I’m ready for wonderful bed. So my friend, why not take a few more minutes and write a comment or use my brand new Contact Form? (in the header at the top) Tell me about your experience of moss. (Like Moss Lumber here in Redding, California)

No Moss has had time to grow around me in the last few months, because I’ve been on the move so much, :) :) But it is important to take the time and Look Around, Smell the Rose’s, as they say. Watch the Moss, see what your imagination can come up with, be a Kid. I like that!

Be a Kid! I think one of the joys of living a healthy life is being a kid. This may take some doing because as we age, many of us experience to many struggles and then allow that experience to tampen our spirit. Be a kid and enjoy the wonders of our world, as you are doing there in SouthEast Asia. Thanks for the comment! :)
