Mark 14:35 (KJV) And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

This passage of Scripture I read today which is from Mark 14:26 through Mark 15:39 is mostly to do with what Jesus Christ, the Son of God did for every one of us who choose to believe, knowing that many will choose not to believe.

As I read, I could fell the weight of sin, not actually, but in my imagination, I guess you could say. But I could sense weight in this reading. Folks, what Jesus Christ did for us is more than anyone of us could image.

 

I can’t use any of these

In this reading and study today, I went fairly quickly because I’ve read this section of the crucifixion of Christ so many times, I think I’ve lived it in my spirit. Meditation in God’s Word will do that to you.

Therefore I only underlined and circled like, 10 verses, which is significantly less than my normal. As I was looking at the verses highlighted, I said to the Holy Spirit, I can’t use any of these, there to contrary, to many people, they would get uncomfortable because there is so much going on that is not good.

 

It’s not easy

Which one do you want Holy Spirit, then my eyes fell on verse 35, and I said oh, Mark 14:35 (KJV) And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. And I thought, oh wow, at least that isn’t so bad. I can see something in this verse that would help people and lift them, sort of like edify and exhort and comfort (which can be found in 1 Corinthians 14:3 (KJV) But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.)

You see, that is what I’m attempting to do everyday, in every thing I’m doing. It’s not easy. Yea, It’s easy to complain when things are tough and not going your way..It’s easy to criticize…It’s easy to find fault…It’s easy to get mad…It’s easy to quit…It’s easy to down grade people. However, it’s a whole different set of parts and sections in our brain to find ways to edify and to exhort and to comfort people. This is why I really like 1 Corinthians 14:3. Actually, its the entire chapter!

 

Even in a movie

In today’s Scripture, it was difficult to find the uplifting parts, because of what our Saviour went through. It’s so incredible that our imagination can’t withstand it. Even in a movie, like “The Passion” …people complained greatly at the horror and bloodiness of that terrible event! The makers of that movie had to remake it so people could palate it….how sad!

Because in real life….it was more, much more, or so much more than Hollywood would produce! This is why, this passage of Scripture is so hard for me… because I just want to cry, not write, or speak on a podcast show…I just want to go to bed and cry. I love Jesus with all my heart, soul, and mind, and everything I am! So I write and publish and speak to touch more people for heaven, in Jesus name.

 

Have a good time forever

I am so grateful to all that Jesus saved me out of….I was headed for Hell! NOT a PARTY! NO! HELL is not a place for all your buddies to drink up and have a good time forever and ever! Stupid people…they listen to Satan and follow the Devil so religiously….and those who don’t stop…turn around…believe in JESUS CHRIST…are headed for ETERNAL FIRE in the LAKE OF FIRE to burn without stopping for all eternity.

How can people, just completely ignore such a horrible story, even if they don’t believe it? … they just to flip it off and say, it’s not true…it’s all made up.

 

 

Add yourself to my daily prayer

There’s a way to be included in my daily prayer. At the end of this discourse there’s an easy method to add yourself. This might be one more way that I can be ‘Touching People For Heaven’. Knowing that someone is praying for you is very comforting. God works through all kinds of people and things to bring about what he wants. God knows what’s going on. He’s the boss!

 

Why did he fall down

Mark 14:35 (KJV) And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

“He went forward a little, and fell on the ground” …just these tiny few words is enough to make any sane person stop for a moment and say, why did he fall down? Let me ask you, why did he fall down?

 

I’ve seen people fall

The part that says ‘he went forward’, caught my attention! I’ve heard preachers say, at alter calls, ‘please come forward if you want prayer.’ I’ve heard these words this way also, ‘if you want to recognize Jesus in your life, come forward.’ Other times, I’ve heard, people testify, ‘that when they went forward, something happened…Jesus met they on the way.’

“And fell on the ground,” …I’ve seen people fall on their face, or fall on the floor when they went forward to receive salvation. Why do people fall? People fall down because they can’t stand up anymore. Their body was overcome and weakened to the point of collapsing.

 

People fall down when they are not expecting it

When people faint, they fall down. When people lose their balance, they fall down. People fall down in heavy gale winds. People fall down when they are not expecting it. Falling is one of those actions that catch us off our guard. People can die when they fall. Jesus was in the beginning of dying for all our sin. …he fell down.

Sin. Do you truly know what is? I hear people tell me, sin is when you lie or steal. Forget that! That will not send you to HELL! NO! Don’t let anybody fool you into thinking that because you lied one time in life, then you are going to hell. That’s what the devil wants you to think.

 

SIN

I know, this is not how preachers and ministers talk. I’m not the normal preacher. I’m not called to be the normal preacher in the pulpit. God would not have kept me on the Highway’s of America for 40 years, if he wanted me to be normal. Believe me!

The SIN that Jesus was dying for was the DEATH that Adam brought into this world. The separation between us and God. This sin has carried on down through all generations from Adam and Eve until you and I and our children… and it keeps going until Jesus returns at his second coming.

 

The most famous verse

That sin, the one that Adam put on us, is the sin that will send every man on earth to hell for eternity. The only, and I mean the one and only way to not go to hell is to receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Here’s the most famous verse in the world:

 

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

 

Every language and dialect

This one single verse has been translated in something like 236 different languages, (I may be off on the exact number, but it’s a lot!) And it’s still being translated into every language and dialect group on earth!

Jesus prayed after he fell on the ground. Go read the verses around this verse and you too may be praying… even now as I’m writing, I’m just overwhelmed….

 

Is there anyone

Prayer, is so much… it’s calling out to the Father… it’s wanting something… Jesus wanted this to pass from him, because it was to much to bare… thank you Jesus… for going on and giving your life for me, for my friends, for my family and for everyone here right now… hearing my voice…

You see, this is a heavy stretch of Scripture…. can you think of any other person who has died for your sin and for you to receive eternal life? Is there anyone?

 

I can’t save you

NO. There’s no one out there… not even the great Buddha, would die for you and for your sin. NO. He would just tell you to be happy and everything will be alright. Now, you can see how big of a deceiver Buddha was…. and still people have his statue in their homes, in their offices, in their cars, on their clothes… it makes me sick.

If you believe in Buddha, I hope I make you sick and hate me for talking like this about your beloved Buddha. Get mad and Get Jesus! I can’t save you and I can’t die for your sin. But Jesus did.

 

I tried

This also goes for every religious fake leader in the history of the world.

I’m grieved in my spirit…. Mark 14:35 (KJV) And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. …this is why I love Jesus so much. I was trapped in sin and drug addiction without a way out. Oh you say, I could have just said no to drugs. Yea right, “Just Say No” …what a joke.

I was headed for hell and I knew it because of the hatred in my heart. I tried to drown my heart in acid, and cocaine, and hash, and anything I could get my hands on…even prescription drugs… how I never overdosed is a mystery to me… I guess Jesus knew me and wanted me… I feel like crying right now… Folks, Jesus is so REAL…. PLEASE, I beg you… Turn onto Jesus…

All it takes, is a desperate heart, one that will cry out to Jesus to save them. That’s what I did… I just said, “Jesus, if you’re real, here I am.”
