Do you get it? Read again Joshua 1:8, the verse just above here. Now read it one more time. Okay, does it make sense and does it interest you to read and study and meditate in God’s Word more often? You see, I have continually studied God’s Word for decades and am still in complete amazement at God and His creation! Have I made my way prosperous? Yes, I am prosperous, but not in American standards, no, I am prosperous in my way of following the Lord. ‘But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ -Philippians 4:19 KJV
May I also add here the life scripture of a minister, Roy Brill, that I meet about thirty years ago, while I lived in Spokane Valley, Washington: ‘I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.’ -Psalm 16:8 KJV

Joshua is a man after God! Joshua is a true leader and one to study. Be aware, he is not a perfect man, I don’t know why people think that if someone follows God they must be perfect in all they do, weird. I’m sure not perfect by any stretch of the imagination.
