Mark 6:52 (KJV) For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
They Considered Not The Miracle
They Considered Not The Miracle – Mark 6:52 (KJV) – Saturday, February 2, 2019
Mark 6:52 (KJV) For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
It’s just amazing to me! Yep, the moment I sit down at my little desk and pull up the SwordSearcher Bible Software (Link but no sales, I just love it!) to write today’s discourse, I then can begin to see, what I’m going to write. Now, you have to understand that just moments earlier, I had no clue on what to write or even if I was going to be able to write anything at all! What amazes me is the action-of-faith!
ALL the MIRACLES of GOD
I guess that is what we can call it, not really sure though? If I just think about the discourse to write, I can’t think of what to write. If I just sit down and sort of pretend that I know what I’m doing, then stuff begins to happen.
What I’m saying relates to today’s Scripture verse. You see, if I allow myself to get stuck in doubt and disbelief and forgetting ALL the MIRACLES GOD has done in my life, well, then probably nothing would happen when I sat down to write. Do you get what I’m trying to say? Think about the passage of Scripture when God told Joshua to…. well, let me go find the verse and I’ll put it right here… give me a minute….
ONE ACCORD
(I finally found it… first, I want to say, do you see the problem with using all different kinds of versions? I had memorized a verse in a different bible version and I’ve tried for over ten minutes or so looking with frustration, then finally after reading through where I thought the verse might be, finally, I found it!)
(The secret to having a fantastic life in the Lord is to be in ONE ACCORD, that is when the Holy Ghost came the first time, at Pentecost, Acts Chapter 2, one accord also means staying in the pure Word of God and not the corrupted versions that lead to confusion and doubt. Wow! This bible version thing is a hot topic for me. I see so much into the reasons why Christians and ministries are having difficult times. Oh well, they love their modern translation!)
The soles of the feet of the priests
So, this is the verse I wanted to show you that is in Joshua… “Joshua 3:13 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.” here…the point is “…as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests…shall rest in the waters…”
These priests had to put their feet into the water FIRST! THEN the waters would react to God’s command! That just amazes me! This is pure faith-in-action! The whole story is from Joshua 3:1 all the way to Joshua 5:1. It’s a long story but a very important story for all of us, today, in 2019! It really is!
You will see faith grow
I wanted to put all 2 chapters here but as you can see that would be a little to much. Please take the time to go read them, and please read them in the King James Bible, Authorized Version. Then stay with that version…it’ll be difficult at first, but you will see faith grow inside you as the months go by. Yes!
Man, did I get off onto a side road! Let’s get back on the highway… 10-4? Mark 6:52 is the verse we need to be in… but of course we sort of are; aren’t we?
Mark 6:52 (KJV) For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
Add yourself to my daily prayer
There’s a way to be included in my daily prayer. At the end of this discourse there’s an easy method to add yourself. This might be one more way that I can be ‘Touching People For Heaven’. Knowing that someone is praying for you is very comforting. God works through all kinds of people and things to bring about what he wants. God knows what’s going on. He’s the boss!
To big to fail
When you go read those two chapters in Joshua, also go on back over to Mark chapter six and read about the loaves and the fishes. Because, the disciples of Jesus was having a hard time with this big miracle that Jesus did earlier in the day. The verse says, “For they considered not the miracle of the loaves” …my question is, why?
Why wouldn’t they spend anytime on this huge and physical miracle? Could it be that when the saw Jesus walking on the water and was going to pass them by that this just blew them out of the water, sort of speak! It’s almost like, this miracle ministry of Jesus is getting to big…. maybe to big to fail? (Laughing!)
Know what life is like
When something gets so big, like the feeding of 5,000 men and their families with just a few loaves of bread and a hand full of fish, well, this is over the top for them! Many of them are fishermen, mainly, and they know a lot about the sea and the sea creatures and the way of life on the water. Sort of like how I know what life is like on the road, having spend 40 years as a long-haul trucker and 3,000,000 miles. There’s not a lot I don’t know, about life on the highway.
These guys know what life is like. They grew up living by the sea. Their parents were in the fishing business. They knew from just kids that multiplying the fish and the loaves was just maybe too much, at least for now. I don’t know for sure. But look at the verse again… “Mark 6:52 (KJV) For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.” Because they considered not the miracle, did they allow their heart to harden?
Which would you choose
Life doesn’t work to well when we have a hard heart. Does it? There are lots of things that can harden our heart. However, there are lots of things to help us have a soft heart. If you had to choose, which would you choose? For me, I pick “B”… lol, soft heart!
When we go through the bible, look for all the places that God did miraculous things. And also, think about all the miracles God has done in your life. The best way is to rehearse the miracles in your mind and spirit. Relive the miracles, always giving glory to God, because God did the miracle, NOT YOU! Please, that’s a big one! New Age teaches that you are the one who does the miracle, not God.
Very dangerous
New Age also teaches that you don’t need God, because you are a god! It’s very dangerous folks! I’m using the word New Age, but it’s no different than what most all the worldly secular people speak about. Anytime that a great thing in our life has happened, and we take the honor and the glory for it, we just stole from God! Now, think about that for awhile.
I’ll go make some tea, while you do…
Okay, the hot water is on the stove…
Soften our hearts
A thought just came to me, if we wanted to soften our hearts, then we can begin telling God about our salvation, and the time you saved me in the car, and the time I made a big mistake and you helped me…. I mean we could really go on and on about the miracles God has truly done in our lives!
Waters boiling…
God knows who you are
Just had another thought, what if you’re not saved yet? Would you have any miracles? Would you have a hard heart? Would you be able to consider the miracles God has done in your life, even if you don’t know who God is? Listen, God knows who you are, even if you’re not a child of God! I know that may fly in the face of a lot of Christians, but the fact is God created YOU MY FRIEND! God knows his creation! There’s nothing God doesn’t know! NOTHING!
Tea is ready…be right back…
Back up Scriptures
Okay, you ready for some back up Scriptures for Mark 6:52 (KJV) For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
Ready or not… here we go… perceive and understand will be of great benefit…like here in…
Mark 8:17 (KJV) And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
Look and see… listen and hear… eyes and ears, using these two senses has great importance…
Mark 8:18 (KJV) Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
Understand
To understand… means to use your spirit… understanding doesn’t come from your brain…
Mark 8:21 (KJV) And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?
Having a slow heart is a heart that doesn’t want to believe and needs signs to believe, or maybe has too much doubt in the heart…
Luke 24:25 (KJV) Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Read it slowly
Jesus believes that understanding provides more than we realize. Actually, understanding comes from the Holy Spirit… that is why the ministry of the Holy Ghost is so critical to living a Godly life!
Matthew 15:16 (KJV) And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
This next verse is a big one… and an important one… let’s read it slowly and deliberately…
Daniel 5:20 (KJV) But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
The miracle of the loaves
So there you go, a sort of short discourse on the short verse of… Mark 6:52…
“For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.”
God bless you my friend,
May the God of Miracles invade your heart…
May the Miracles God creates in your life, Be remembered…
May God be REAL in your life…

JOHN CHOQUE. says
Life is grand when I consider all the miracles that God has done in my life. And according to today’s discourse, this remembering should keep my heart soft. Praise God!
