“A Good Soldier Of Jesus Christ – 2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV)”
A Good Soldier Of Jesus Christ
2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
Greetings!
Yea I know, that’s a strange title for a prayer letter! But I just sat down after the entire day with the Lord in prayer and bible study and this verse seemed to be the one that made sense to me after this week’s street preaching.
Every day is different and every week is different… however, for whatever reason some weeks feel like I’m on the front lines of the battle theater, fighting with the enemy for the souls of people who pass me by.
I think about 16,000 people got a witness for Jesus Christ this week… I worked hard and was diligent throughout the week, even if the weather didn’t cooperate. I try for 20,000 people every week, but this week was a little different than most weeks. It was Christmas and things seem to be a lot different than usual. And that’s okay!
What I was thinking, when I sat down to write this letter was, I thought that just living our lives as Christians can often times be a battle. That is where today’s verse seems to fit in… 2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
My dear friend, as Christians we have an enemy that is in daily battle for our life. Now that he can’t steal your salvation, Satan will try to destroy any benefits or rewards you may get from serving Jesus Christ. Chapter ten of the gospel of John outlines the battle plan for the enemy/the thief (Satan)…
The thief cometh not, but for:
1. to steal, and
2. to kill, and
3. to destroy
Chapter ten of the gospel of John also outlines the battle plan for the good shepherd (Jesus)…
I am come that they might:
1. have life, and that they might
2. have it more abundantly.
John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
By using this simple outline with the things of our day, we both can determine who is involved with our life at the moment. I realize that Jesus as our Saviour never leaves us or forsakes us, however… the enemy never does either… at least that’s what it feels like!
So once again, as our scripture for today tells us… 2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Yep, simple and to the point… that’s God’s word! Ain’t it great!
I think it’s important to look at several verses of scripture to get a wide and solid foundation on the rock to support our life. Such as these verses here…
2 Timothy 2:12 (KJV) If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
1 Peter 4:13 (KJV) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1 Peter 4:14 (KJV) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
1 Peter 4:15 (KJV) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
1 Peter 4:16 (KJV) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
When we sit down and consider what is going on in our life, let’s bring in the word of God and use it as a complete source of “How To: … ” In this way, we can show God that we are serious soldiers of Jesus Christ, willing and obedient to go to battle; not just for our own life, but for the lives of the people whom God brings across our path in life.
This is sort of like how I see it when I’m on the streets preaching Jesus Christ and interceding for souls… God brings them in front of me and they get a chance to read the scriptures on my banner and then make their own decision of whom they will serve.
And that’s how simple it really is…
Respectfully serving as a soldier for Jesus Christ,
—JC.
Proverbs 27:17 (KJV) Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
2 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2 Timothy 2:10 (KJV) Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

“Not All Obeyed – Romans 10:16 (KJV)”
Not all obeyed …
Romans 10:16 (KJV) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
also this scripture…
Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
and now this one…
Luke 6:47 (KJV) Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
Greetings!
This will be a rather quick letter… because these last two weeks have been extremely difficult for me, and thus I’m really exhausted. This however, does NOT take away from my daily prayers for you. For some reason, prayer is easy for me and I so completely enjoy my interaction with the Lord. I love Jesus with all my heart and soul!
What is on my heart has to do with faith and belief and the word of God.
How does someone have faith if they don’t hear the preserved pure word of God? Does God have more than one book? Can we just use any book that is called a Bible? And the best question is: “Which Bible Would Jesus Use?” If Jesus came to your church to preach the word, which bible would he place on the pulpit to preach from?
I think that’s a thought provoking question. Would Jesus use a bible that is changed, corrupted, perverted, missing words and phrases and whole verses? Would Jesus use a bible that demotes his deity and his Godhead? Would Jesus use a bible that says you can’t be saved, that you have to do works or even pay money to be forgiven?
You see, not all bibles are the same. Just because they are called a bible, does not mean that is the one that Jesus would preach out of… think about it for awhile.
For some reason, people here, or rather, Christians here in Colorado, have a distorted view of what a Holy Bible is… I run into this everyday I preach on the streets.
Romans 10:16 (KJV) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Could it be that Christians are having trouble obeying the gospel because the gospel they have is WRONG?
Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Could it be that Christians are lacking in faith because they have the WRONG word of God?
Luke 6:47 (KJV) Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: Luke 6:48 (KJV) He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Luke 6:49 (KJV) But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Could it be that Christians are struggling and failing to do the sayings of Jesus and falling into the hands of Satan the deceiver and the lusts of this world because they have the WRONG sayings of the Lord Jesus Christ?
When a Christian says to me, they like the ESV (English Standard Version), what are they really saying to me? Or how about when a Christian tells me they love the TPT (The Passion Translation), what should I say to them?
When a Christian tells me, I don’t care… I’m going to read whatever I like and whatever makes me feel good! What should I say to them?
What I’m saying here in this letter may not apply to you… but there may be many others in your life that this applies to… I don’t know.
Which bible would Jesus bring to church to preach from? I love that question… which bible version would you say he would preach from?
For me, I absolutely know which bible Jesus would use… no question about it, none! I have studied this topic for over five years, thousands of pages I’ve read, hundreds of hours of teaching, and hundreds of hours of prayer… but unfortunately, from my experience, most don’t believe me, or any of the other ministers who teach on this critical topic. Oh well.
Let’s pray: Lord thank you for giving us your word and sending the Comforter, the Holy Ghost to teach us your word and all that you have taught us. Thank you Father for loving us so very much to have sent the Word, the Son of God, to die in our place and to redeem us from eternal damnation, for all of us who believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Thank you for writing our names in the book of life and giving us eternal life. In Jesus name, amen.
Respectfully in JESUS,
—JC.
Acts 8:37 (KJV) And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Revelation 20:15 (KJV) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

“Founded Upon A Rock – Luke 6:48 (KJV)”
Founded Upon A Rock…
Luke 6:48 (KJV) He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
This letter can be heard: Podcast show ‘Touching People For Heaven‘ with your host Preacher John.
Greetings!
When we pray, or rather when I pray… either way… it’s as if we are digging deep into our spirit, and this is only when we are in the Spirit and praying in the Spirit and praying with faith, all in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our prayers can be founded upon a rock. Our ministry can be founded upon a rock. Our life can be founded upon a rock. And our eternal destiny can be assured by being in the Rock of our salvation.
2 Samuel 22:47 (KJV) The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
Psalm 89:26 (KJV) He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
Rock is a key word here in the Holy Bible, Authorized King James Version. Rock is an important title also used for our Saviour Jesus Christ!
The verse that continues to come to me, and has for many years is this verse that today’s Sunday Prayer Letter is written from… namely, Luke 6:48.
I started my day off today, specifically when I sat down with my morning coffee to have my usual prayer meeting with God… I started off by mentioning your name to God along with the other names on my growing prayer list… I love it… something special happens to me when I mention your name and lift you up to the Lord in prayer! It’s difficult to put it into words, put as I was asking the Lord for help… it’s as if he said something like, look at it like you digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock. Of course I recognized this as a verse I’ve read and studied often… it’s Luke 6:48!
Luke 6:48 (KJV) He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
I’m sort of laughing to myself right now, because I’m trying to write this letter and make it super scriptural… but that’s just not my way of how the Holy Ghost has taught me to minister… of course all is founded upon the Rock of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen?
The first mention of an upper case letter “R” is in the Old Testament… Deuteronomy 32:4 (KJV) He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. (Actually I counted it five times in this book.)
Look at this one… Deuteronomy 32:31 (KJV) For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. Did you notice ‘rock’ in lower case and ‘Rock’ in upper case? Something to think about and ask the Comforter to teach what this means.
When we dig deep to lay the foundation on a rock as per Luke 6:48 we do this by going into the word of God and digging deep into his word along with the Comforter teaching us all things about Jesus Christ, as per John 14:26…
John 14:26 (KJV) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
This is Jesus Christ himself while he was manifested in the flesh speaking of a later event that will happen… this happened when the day of Pentecost was fully come… this is in the verses of Acts chapter two… and continuing throughout the New Testament… just as Jesus had said… pretty cool huh?
So going back to our verse in Luke… Luke 6:48 (KJV) He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
…built an house
…digged deep
…laid the foundation on a rock
…when the flood arose
…the stream beat vehemently upon that house
…could not shake it
…it was founded upon a rock
I suppose we could spend the next seven weeks just on these seven items found in this one verse! And I think I could find several more things to ponder on in this verse… in fact, we could probably chain reference the entire word of God to this single verse or maybe this single story! What do you think?
Often times the best way to study a verse or study our enemy is to study the opposite. Take for example the next verse in line… in the book of Luke…
Luke 6:49 (KJV) But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Can you see the difference? These two verses also point back to verse 47 or maybe 46… where it begins… Luke 6:46-47 (KJV) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
Even as I’m writing and praying and pondering the words that I’m writing, I keep thinking about the single word… “digged” …this is where I actually see the problem! What do I mean?
Well, as I’ve been such a long time in this way, I see and hear a usual story line… “I’m just to busy to read the bible.” …or “I’m to shy to tell others about eternal life.” …or “I’m to involved with my friends and college to get serious about God.” …or “I’m to entrenched in my career to even think about doing anything for God.” …or “I’m just not into that kind of stuff.” …or “Not right now, maybe later.” …or …(and it goes on and on and on!).”
The wisdom of this world is just not going to make it! Listen to this…
1 Corinthians 3:18-21 (KJV) Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
I was just rereading over my letter, and I feel like I need to apologize for being so direct or maybe pushy… I am just so excited about what God is doing and I want everyone to get involved with all the great things that God is doing! A great place to start is simply studying the Holy Bible, and then secondly, praying to the Author and Finisher of our faith… the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! (Hebrews 12:2). When we do these two things on a consistent basis, good things happen!
I desire good things for you… as it is written… “how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:11). And in another place… “Christ being come an high priest of good things to come,” (Hebrews 9:11)
So I also suppose that one of these two things could come about, not you, but someone you may know or will meet… this is an important message here… Luke 16:25 (KJV) But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
God’s word is so overflowing with goodness and mercy and truth… take a deep long drink of this water that is flowing from this Rock… it will refresh you, and now take a cup of water to someone that you know or someone you don’t know and give them this water…. Amen?
Have a beautiful day in Jesus…
and…
Dig deep my friend…
In love with the Rock of my salvation,
—JC.
Psalm 62:2 (KJV) He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
1 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV) And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
1 Timothy 6:19 (KJV) Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
James 1:22 (KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

“Ye Have Filled Jerusalem With Your Doctrine – Acts 5:28 (KJV)”
Ye Have Filled Jerusalem With Your Doctrine…
Acts 5:28 (KJV) Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.
This letter can be heard: Podcast show ‘Touching People For Heaven‘ with your host Preacher John.
Greetings!
What a great week it has been filling Boulder, Colorado and Denver, Colorado with our doctrine of JESUS CHRIST! Sinners hate it… but the Saints love it! Praise the Lord!
As I was getting ready and preparing to write my Sunday Prayer Letter, I kept seeing in my imagination or maybe in the spirit, not sure which; this preaching that I’ve been doing for the last six months, and it looked as if I was filling a huge water glass full of water and it was getting ready to spill all over onto the counter when I heard some mockers saying… “you have filled Boulder with your doctrine…” …then I started laughing, because I remembered a verse similar to this… I found it… it’s Acts 5:28! What a great verse from those who hate the gospel of Christ.
Then right away I began thinking about all the people who read my prayer letters, and all the people who listen to me on my podcast, and all the people who see and hear me on the street corners of Boulder… then the question for you, came to me… “Is your city been filled with the doctrine of Jesus Christ, by what you are doing?”
Oh my, what a question to ask? Just like yesterday, while on my out-of-town preaching event, this couple came up to me and said, we are silent witnesses, but you are not a silent witness!
You see, I’m covered with the gospel… my hat has JESUS SAVES…. my coat left sleeve has JESUS IS LORD… the right sleeve has FEAR GOD… the coat front has JESUS SAVES… and JESUS is SAVIOUR-LORD-CREATOR-JUDGE-MESSIAH-REDEEMER… the back has WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY? Then my banner on both sides, which is 32 square feet (front and back), has several bible verses relating to salvation and Jesus Christ being Saviour… it’s a sight to behold, and thousands read and view and see and think about what is written on this huge sign.. an uplifted banner! That’s me… ‘ADVERTISING FOR JESUS CHRIST!’ …filling my city…!
Now also, include my continual intercessional preaching/prayer for souls (aloud) in the Holy Ghost, next add the printed gospel tracts/booklets that I hand out to those who talk with me… and now you too can maybe hear the sinners say, “Ye Have Filled Boulder With Your Doctrine”… I’m sort of laughing right now, because this is real and not in my imagination! Praise GOD!
So, let’s not be like the “silent witness” because there is no way that our cities and towns and villages and suburbs, nor our states and our country can be filled with the saving message of JESUS CHRIST… he died for our sins so that we can receive eternal life! Without believing in Jesus Christ as saviour, everyone you know… will absolutely go to hell and then onto the lake of fire… for eternity… everlasting… without end. Is that what you want for your family and friends and co-workers and the store clerk? Is it?
I will fill my city with the doctrine of JESUS CHRIST! And not just my city, which is Boulder, but I will also fill the city of Denver, and Nederland, and Golden, and Longmont, and all the cities and towns of Colorado. Then, I will fill the 50 states of our country, the United States of America. Then, I will continue on to fill the world with the doctrine of JESUS CHRIST! Will you help me and join me and do the same? Together, in our own way, we can fill our city with Jesus.
Let’s take a quick look at the next verse, Acts 5:29 (KJV) Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Okay, now let’s stop for a moment and think why don’t we fill our cities with the doctrine of our saviour Jesus Christ?
Could it be here in this verse, Acts 5:33 (KJV) When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
First let’s read these verses that are in the middle of these two verses…
Acts 5:30 (KJV) The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Going back to the last part of verse 33; “…and took counsel to slay them.” Here in the US we actually don’t need to be to concerned about being killed, except sometimes a rogue hater will kill… but you’ll go to heaven. In many other countries it is a crime punishable by death to preach the doctrine of JESUS CHRIST. Believers will still preach and fill their cities with Jesus, even knowing that they will be killed for it.
But, why don’t we go out and preach the gospel of JESUS CHRIST? The biggest reason that I hear from people on the streets while I preach is generally… “I’m to busy with the world, to be concerned with heaven, let some body else to it.”
Now obviously that is not the actually words, no… are you kidding, nobody would be that honest! They say it with their actions, and with their time, and with their money, and with their thoughts, and with their dreams, goals, visions and mission statements, and with their life. Yep, that’s the way it is… but God already knows that. Sad.
My dear friend, why not take a few minutes and go get your bible and read just Chapter Five of the Book of Acts… just that one chapter… it won’t take very long… read it slowly and thoughtfully… ask the Holy Spirit to help you read it…
I write this letter for you… not for me… there is nothing in here that I’m not already doing, daily!
It’s my love for you… yes, I’m not kidding… because I pray and mention your name, to God in prayer… God gives to me in return a love for people… for you… you are loved… you really are my friend.
I’m not really given to being a lover of people, I’m sort of a loner… a long-term career professional driver… but God has blessed me with a new love for people… I’m crying now, because of this overwhelming love that seems to flood out of me…. God loves you so very much and wants to give you his kingdom… everything he has… he wants to give to you… that’s a real loving God…
…now my bible is wet… tears falling on the pages as I cry… tears of love…
So what does the scripture say…
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Yep… God so absolutely loves you… live in that love and then give the love away…
…you will begin to see something in you that will change you into the most beautiful saint of God that you can’t even imagine…
Forever in LOVE,
—JC.
Psalm 36:7 (KJV) How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 45:22 (KJV) Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

“The Day Is At Hand – Romans 13:12 (KJV)”
The Day Is At Hand
Romans 13:12 (KJV) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
This letter can be heard: Podcast show ‘Touching People For Heaven‘ with your host Preacher John.
Greetings my dear friend!
Hallelujah, God is good! I praise the LORD in every thing that I do. His praise is continually in my mouth. I love JESUS CHRIST and I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, and I prove it everyday of my life. This faith is what sets me apart unto the Lord and for his glory and his work. Nothing I do is for me. Everything I do is for the Lord! Selah.
My my, what a way to start of a prayer letter! This is in no way what I thought I was going to write, and it is not going to be deleted, no. What I write is from my heart and my spirit, and I pray it’s from the Holy Ghost to you my dear friend!
The night that we all live in is coming to an end. The day is at hand and we who want the day to begin, have already entered into the day.
It’s important to our growing in the Lord, or rather from faith to faith, as the word of God states… Romans 1:17 (KJV) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Does someone’s doubt make us not want to love the Lord and desire to serve him and to be with him in heaven? No. We live by faith! Romans 3:3 (KJV) For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
Praise the Lord! God has given us life and light to live in while in the darkness. Do we bow our knee to darkness and vow to serve darkness? No. Why? Because as we read here in…
Genesis 1:2 (KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Each one of us, before we were born again, was in darkness. Then as we cried out to Jesus to save us, the Spirit of God moved upon us and we became a living soul, in other words, we shall not die, but live forever with the one who saved us from darkness.
Do we then stay in darkness? No. Come out of the darkness and come into the light that lights every man on earth. We, as born again Christians, are not of this world, we are of the world to come, world without end.
Isaiah 45:17 (KJV) But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
Ephesians 3:21 (KJV) Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
My prayer before the Lord for several months now has been; ‘How does a new believer get the world out of themselves?’ (This is not my exact worded prayer, but it’s close and is more of a question to the Lord from months of street preaching and visiting with hundreds of Christians on the street. I see so many Christians that love the Lord and are happy to be saved, but at the same time love the world, or appear to love the world and continue as if they are still of this world. They look, they appear, they act, they talk, and they even think like the world. This should not be! The world is in darkness!
How does a believer get out of darkness and into the light?
By living in darkness, even if there is light inside, darkness will have control.
Come out of darkness!
John 3:19 (KJV) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
This prayer letter today is for each one of us to ask the Lord, do I have darkness within me?
Then take appropriate actions with whatever the Holy Spirit has showed you.
Be willing and obedient to the Holy Spirit as he uncovers darkness that lurks within.
As the scripture says, John 12:46 (KJV) I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. That is the Lord Jesus Christ speaking his word to all that would believe. Do you believe?
John 3:15 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
There is so much knowledge in the word of God on this subject of darkness that it would take months of writing to bring it all to you. But I now write to encourage you to come into the light and allow the light to shine within you! Hallelujah!
Because the scriptures say…
1 John 1:4 (KJV) And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
As I’ve been writing this letter, I kept thinking quietly, there sure is a lot of verses here! There must be something going on that I’m not aware of… and that’s why I put my faith in God, not in the world or whatever I can do… for I am nothing without JESUS CHRIST my Saviour!
My dear friend, may this letter find you in the light… and there be no darkness…
Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
In Jesus name. Amen!
Welcome to the LIGHT,
—JC.
Psalm 1:1 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalm 1:2 (KJV) But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalm 1:3 (KJV) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

“He Shall Restore Sevenfold – Proverbs 6:31 (KJV)”
This letter can be heard: Podcast show ‘Touching People For Heaven‘ with your host Preacher John.
He Shall Restore Sevenfold…
Proverbs 6:31 (KJV) But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
Greetings!
Have you ever wondered why it takes so long to do something? Well, this question seems to pop up once a week for me, if not every day! Because this thing is on my mind, the reason why it takes so long to do stuff, I’ve had this in prayer before the Father for months or whatever, it seems like a very long time.
What really got the ball rolling in my prayer about this, is a few weeks ago; I’ve had numerous people promise to do something for me and lo and behold, nothing is done. Believe me, I really don’t care, because I don’t work for people… I work only for God! For decades now, my total source of life comes strictly from God. My real concern is for them… it hurts the person when they promise and then don’t deliver. Oh well.
However, being in a public style of ministry, like I am, I get lots of people wanting to help or do something for the ministry… unfortunately for me… I believe them! That’s my problem.
Never can we take our eyes off the Lord our Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus never did it when he was building his ministry, and demonstrating by example how to build and do a ministry. He always referred his actions and his words back to the Father. Jesus didn’t look to people for the answers he needed, or the resources he needed to fund his ministry, or even where he was going to sleep for the night! Jesus has faith in God! (I know that sounds weird to say that… he is God! But I’m referencing his earthly ministry. Okay?)
After months of prayer about this, it was as if the Lord said to me, (Now please make a note: this is paraphrased and not the exact words used, because it was in prayer and over several days that the Holy Spirit ministered the answer to my prayer. Okay?) (The basis is this verse: Romans 11:29 (KJV) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.)
The Lord said to me… “I ask people to give, but they don’t, then I ask another person, and they don’t, then I ask another to give, but they don’t either, then I ask yet another person and they give. Now realize, that once I ask someone to give, I don’t take back that request, I just move onto the next person. Then sometime later, people begin to do what I asked them to do along time ago, and it looks as if you are reaping an abundant harvest on a little seed or effort; but the real answer is that the people I asked are now giving and it looks like you are receiving a sevenfold return! Like in the verse: Proverbs 6:31 “But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold;” ”
Isn’t that amazing? I was floored when this revelation came to me; and all the struggle that I’ve had as a missionary over all these years, was finally making more sense to me. Realize, that many years ago, I gave up all the looking to man for my resources in ministry and in my life. I truly look to God… JEHOVAH_JIREH.
Genesis 22:14 (KJV) And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
Now, let’s take a look at several verses that relate to a manifold return on whatever it is we are sowing or giving or working towards… remember this key verse though: Luke 6:38 (KJV) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
I think that I’m just going to list some of the important verses here and then pick a couple things to highlight…
Exodus 22:4 (KJV) If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
Leviticus 6:5 (KJV) Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
Numbers 5:7 (KJV) Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.
2 Samuel 12:6 (KJV) And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
Proverbs 6:31 (KJV) But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
Luke 19:8 (KJV) And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
As I was writing and copying these verses, I keep being reminded of all the US Court cases that require the perpetrator to return what they have stolen. My question to myself is usually, how is that going to happen, when the court has taken everything from the thief and they have nothing left, and then they have to return the millions to the victims? (I’m referring to financial dealings.)
I was just looking at all the different verses pertaining to this topic of returning the stolen stuff, it’s more than I can write in a single letter!
God is very serious about each person who violates his commandments. God is a righteous God and a just God and everything will balance out and be even, no matter how long it takes. God is not in a hurry, like man thinks of hurrying.
We should all be extremely thankful to God for his immense patience, longsuffering, for each one of us. I know that I am forever thankful that the Lord is patient with me, because I’ve made so many mistakes, I could write a book filled with my mistakes!
So the reason why things just don’t appear to work out quickly, is that there are people in our lives that say no to God and are lazy in doing what God has asked them to do. This could be a tool for Satan to get into our lives and cause bitterness or rivalry between friends, family, co-workers, or even strangers that cross our path. But we can’t allow the devil to steal, kill, or destroy our joy in the Lord. We resolve to have faith in God, no matter what the devil throws at us! The devil is a liar, and the father of lies.
John 8:44 (KJV) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
As believers and Christians, we look to our Saviour for our life and the abundance that the Lord provides to his children. We truly have a heavenly home with a loving Father that cares for each one of us, even you!
As the word of God constantly tells us…
Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Exceeding abundance to you my dear friend,
—JC.
Psalm 23:5 (KJV) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psalm 119:40 (KJV) Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

“Let Your Speech Be Alway With Grace – Colossians 4:6 (KJV)”
This letter can be heard: Podcast show ‘Touching People For Heaven’ with your host Preacher John.
Let your speech be alway with grace…
Colossians 4:6 (KJV) Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Greetings my friend!
It’s November and this year will soon come to an end, along with this decade coming to an end. Anytime dates change and times change, there are other things that change that we all don’t see, nor understand, but as creatures of this earth, we can feel the change.
Change is one of those odd things that happen all through our life, but is difficult to describe how we feel about it. Generally what I see as a preacher, is people act different around times and seasons of change. Unfortunately, many of the actions taken by people are not so constructive.
It’s always funny to me when I sit down and write my Sunday Prayer Letter to you… I think about you all week long, because I mention your name to God everyday during my Morning Prayer Time… I actually call it my Morning Coffee Meeting With God! I love my time with God in prayer.
One of the highlights of my week right now is when I get to write to you. This morning I could hear the words, will you get tired of writing your letter? I instantly said, NO! Because I love the feeling I get when I share my self in this letter to you. And this is a big reason why I do what I do, and the idea in this week’s letter.
The reason I do just about anything, but let me preface this first… this has come from years and years or actually decades of ministry and working with people in all areas of life… so, I have found that for me (personally), I must do things for myself and not do things for people. When I’ve done things in the past for people… I am usually let down and disappointed… and this is very bad for a minister and for my prayers for people. Ministers, which is actually all Christians, must pray for people on an ongoing basis.
By doing things for me, I am actually doing things for the LORD! Decades ago, I’ve committed my entire life to serving God in everything that I do. This has never changed in over forty years. It’s actually a gift from God to be able to give my life to God. And I so appreciate God’s gifts!
So, the reason I write these Sunday letters is because they make me feel so good inside! I’ve attempted to explain the joy I have in writing to you every week, but I can’t seem to put the right words together. I just love it and I love you… the love comes from God and through daily prayer for you… that’s how Christians build their love for people… prayer… and prayer is giving!
Giving is what is on my heart for this week. Giving everything… not just one thing or another. The scriptures are…
Luke 6:38 (KJV) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV) Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
This thought I have about giving is more of a WARNING… rather than a request or declaration…. or even a suggestion or a teaching about giving. It’s a warning!
The warning comes from months and months on the streets preaching the gospel of Christ with my Banners, Intercessions, and Tracts.
I hear people say they are going to do this or do that and then never do this or that. This is how Satan can really mess people up and they don’t even recognize it… beware of the wiles of Satan, the deceiver. He will get into a person’s life without being noticed. BEWARE!
When Satan comes around, things change… not fast or instantly or even quick… NO! If they did, then we would notice and take appropriate actions against Satan. Right now as I’m writing this, I can pick up opposition to this type of conversation… why? Because Satan has taught most people that he doesn’t exist… he is not real… and that if you talk about him, it is some how a bad thing and God will not be pleased. This is all a lie and part of his plan of deception… Satan will tell you, whatever he needs to say to make you feel that even the thought of Satan is wrong and bad.
Here is a couple key scriptures…
Ephesians 6:11 (KJV) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Look at this verse…
1 Corinthians 15:33 (KJV) Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Our communications to each other and to our selves are key ingredients to our faith. If we say we are going to do something and then we don’t do it, we are speaking evil communications. (Yes, I know this sounds a bit over the top, but, I’m making a point on the importance of our giving… giving is speaking.. and speaking is giving… we speak, thereby we give… no giving precedes speaking… we are saved by speaking (even the deaf, speaks)… therefore beware of evil communications! Why? Because evil communications corrupt good manners.
Manners are our actions which follow our speaking. If a person knows that they will not act on their speech, then by all means… do not say something that you know will not happen… this is an act of deceiving… why? When words are spoken and not carried out, then evil has a way into the person speaking.
Giving our speech, either opens the door to good… or opens the door to evil.
This is not an automatic thing that happens in our lives. We all are taught how to speak, what to say, and what to expect from our speech. Therefore, we can learn how to correctly speak the words of faith into our life… and into the lives of others around us.
As I write this letter, I am speaking in a written format, and if you hear my podcast, you will hear me speak… this is me, my spirit speaking into your life… your spirit. We are spirits… not flesh… yes, I know this can be a controversial subject… but I don’t care, it’s the truth!
Proverbs 17:7 (KJV) Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
Psalm 19:2-3 (KJV) Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
John 8:43-45 (KJV) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Romans 16:18 (KJV) For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Colossians 4:6 (KJV) Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Titus 2:8 (KJV) Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
These series of scriptures are ways to learn how to have a speech, that is all the time filled with grace… the grace that is the answer for every man!
How we give our speech… our talking… our conversation… our communication… will determine how we live… either by faith or by works.
Living by faith is the correct choice.
Living by works will not end well… guaranteed!
Thank you for allowing me to write such a sharp letter filled with tension and of course… of grace, because without grace we cannot receive from the Lord.
Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Grace be with you my dear friend. Amen.
-JC.
Psalm 84:11 (KJV) For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 22:11 (KJV) He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.

“Rejoice, Because Your Names Are Written In Heaven – Luke 10:20 (KJV)”
Rejoice, Because Your Names Are Written In Heaven
Luke 10:20 (KJV) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Greetings my friend!
What an amazing title for this Sunday Prayer Letter! I do rejoice, and I pray that you too my friend, rejoice because your name is written in heaven! How exciting to know this, and to recognize the importance of this statement by Jesus Christ himself.
How many times do you hear the children of God rejoicing because of blessings, or of something that has happened to them that is really good; and then you think, well that’s nice, but how about me? I too need that blessing in my life? Why are they blessed and I’m suffering and struggling with life?
Well, for me, I’ve probably have said something like these questions many times over the years. Just this week, what triggered this verse to me was someone rejoicing because of material blessings in their life, and almost immediately I could hear myself say, well, that’s nice, but what about me Lord? Then instantly I could hear the Lord say something about this.
This happened several days ago, but what I finally heard from the Lord was this verse in Luke 10:20, KJV. And more specifically, the part that says, “…rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
As I’m writing this letter, my mind wants to run all over the place and not focus… I see that this is something that is important to our lives and thus is the reason why the Holy Spirit is having me write today on this verse.
Rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. I’m laughing to myself, because every time I write this or say it aloud, I get tickled in my spirit, because I know it’s the truth!
If all of us would simply do what Jesus just said… then possibly most of our day to day problems would become insignificant. What do you think?
What I hear now is; yea preacher, but I’ve got this and this and this and I could list a page of problems in my life!
Do you see what this is actually saying?
Think about this, if we dismiss the eternal importance of our names written in heaven; then we also dismiss the everlasting importance of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and all that God has done for us on the cross! Wow… that’s scary!
Are names that are written in heaven is NOT automatic because we were born. NO. That happens at the hospital and not in heaven! It’s called a birth certificate and that is all it is… this has nothing to do with our eternal salvation!
I know, and I hear it from lots of people as I preach on the streets to the lost… they say, hey preacher, it doesn’t matter because we’re all going to heaven, because God loves everybody, and hell doesn’t exist, and Jesus never talked about hell, and in fact Jesus isn’t real, nor is God! The sinner says, hail Satan! How horrible are these statements? This is what it sounds like when sinners make a decision against God. If they never change their decision, then the consequences of their chose is not a happy one. How sad. This is the pride of man. And this is why humbling our selves is so critical.
For the word says in… Proverbs 16:18, KJV… “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
I know what you might be thinking. How could this be said? It’s because sinners are sinners that are going to hell and that is their course of direction until or unless they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ! It absolutely does not matter how many blessings a person has!
Acts 16:31 (KJV) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
John 6:47 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. -Jesus speaking
If you’re reading this and think that I’m rambling without a direction myself, this could be something to ponder in your life. Most of you that are reading my Sunday Prayer Letter are saved, at least that is what I gather, and the few that aren’t saved yet, why not? Just believe and be saved! Don’t complicate the matter. It’s a free gift!
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Do you know what will happen to every person if their name is NOT written in heaven?
Do you also know that God is telling the truth, and it’s not up for debate?
Do you again know that Jesus Christ will judge and assign every soul to their eternal place… be it heaven, that is everlasting life or the lake of fire?
Do you think God is going to do what he says he’s going to do?
Okay, one more question… Do you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ? (Acts 16:31, KJV)
By simply rejoicing that our names are written in heaven, we all can lay aside the weight of this world and press on toward witnessing and preaching and ministering salvation to every soul that we come in contact with. Then the real question after salvation is; how many names are written in heaven because you lived?
Let me repeat that, how many names are written in heaven because you lived?
And let me do it again, how many names are written in heaven because you lived?
It’s something to think about.
Well my friend, thank you for being so sincere in your love and compassion to those in your life, and to me. Thank you so very much!
I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will give you the Comforter, and the Comforter will teach you all things that Jesus has taught us.
I love you.
Rejoice, because your names are written in heaven,
—JC.
1 John 5:11, KJV… “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”
Revelation 3:5, KJV… “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
Revelation 20:15, KJV… “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

“Walk In The Light – 1 John 1:4-10, KJV”
(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Please add yourself to my Daily Prayer List with Sunday Prayer Letter.)
Greetings!
This week has been filled with God’s grace and mercy as I have walked in the light at every moment of every day. How is that possible? Well, I see that it’s possible because it’s written in the word of God! By knowing what the word of God says, and then believing what is written, and therefore walking the scripture out in our daily life, all of us are able to walk in the light!
I know that sounds simple to read, and actually, it was not simple to write just now… I had stopped writing after the first several words and just sat back in my chair and pondered what I was about to continue writing… then I heard the Holy Spirit say, what’s wrong? Don’t change it… keep writing. I said, okay… and continued writing.
We all are growing in the Lord. We all are gaining more understanding of God’s will for our lives. We all are desiring to get closer to God. We all are asking God for help. This is all why God has written his word to the believers.
The scripture says in 2 Timothy 2:15, KJV… “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
So what I want to do now, is write the word of truth here that is the idea of this Sunday Prayer Letter to you, and I suppose it is also to me… lol, laughing out loud… because I too read every letter and pray over it to see what the Holy Spirit wants to teach me! I think that’s funny! So, here we go…
1 John 1:4-10, KJV…
“And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.”
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:”
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
The whole idea with scripture is to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. We believe the scriptures, and then receive his salvation in Jesus Christ.
As the Apostle John writes, in regards to John the Baptist and of Jesus Christ, in John 1:7-9, KJV… “The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
Did you notice that Light is uppercase, and not lower case? Light is another title or name of Jesus Christ! Amazing! Light is also a reference to the Holy Spirit and to our spirit. Light is a reference to the spiritual kingdom and not to this worldly kingdom that is passing away. I think this is fantastic!
In order to get the fullness of all these verses and get understanding of what the Holy Spirit is teaching, we each need to spend time in God’s word and in prayer to the author of his word.
As it is written in Hebrews 12:2, KJV… “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
My dear friend, I think the most important thing is really getting to know Jesus Christ and to walk in the light as the scripture records for us. And we do this by following this verse: John 14:26, KJV… “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
May the Comforter, comfort you,
—JC.
The Lamentations of Jeremiah 1:16, KJV… “For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.”

“They drank of that spiritual Rock – 1 Corinthians 10:4, KJV”
(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Please add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and Sunday Prayer Letter.)
1 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV) And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Greetings!
I suppose that what we drink and eat does make a difference in our life… thinking about today’s verse, that would seem about right. What do you think?
The thing for us to remember is what Paul said a few lines later… 1 Corinthians 10:6 (KJV) Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Pretty powerful statement, I think. The crazy thing is this story is told in many places, both Old and New Testament. Like this verse that King David wrote…Psalm 106:14 (KJV) But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
Lust is a real tough word to grasp, thus many new modern versions have deleted this word, because it’s hard to take; who wants to lust? No one! But people do. Here’s a couple definitions from the Webster’s 1828 Dictionary: “Longing desire; eagerness to possess or enjoy; as the lust of gain.” -from Exodus 15. And here is more: “Concupiscence; carnal appetite; unlawful desire of carnal pleasure.” – from Romans 1. 2Peter 2.
Well, if that wasn’t enough, here is a good one… James 1:15 (KJV) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
You know, when I sat down to write my Sunday Prayer Letter, this was in no way a topic of mind! But I have to say, because of all the ministry that seems to be taking place around me, this is probably an appropriate topic! Leave it to the Holy Spirit to stir the hearts of everyone… I’m kinda laughing now, because God knows what’s going on… and people think God is dumb and that God doesn’t see them in their sin! Amazing!
I preach nearly everyday, and see people in their sin and they think it’s normal… okay, I guess it is normal for a sinner! But, it is NOT normal for a Christian to be sinning! Sin is horrible and sin causes death!
And I’m serious! Sin causes death of every thing in a life of sin. The death process starts immediately… not after we die. This should cause you and me to agree with what the Apostle Paul said…
1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV) But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
So I can hear people say, okay Preacher, how do we stop this mess?
Well, I think the best scripture verse to use is this one:
Romans 13:14 (KJV) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
In this verse, the word “ye” is plural and means “all of us” and this means that the Holy Spirit is not singling out just one or two of us. We all need to put on the Lord Jesus Christ! We all need to make NOT provision for the flesh. We all need to stop opening doors to our life to allow the lusts of this world to move into us. If we all make provision for our flesh to rule our life, then all of us will fulfill the lust thereof! That’s just the way it is!
This is how we all walk out and apply this verse in Romans 13:14… we pray…
“Holy Spirit, I put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for my flesh, according to Romans 13:14. Holy Spirit, please help me and teach me how to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and how to keep the Lord on me, and help me and show me how to close all provisions for my flesh to fulfill its lusts for this world. Thank you Holy Spirit for being so good to me and teaching me the ways of my Saviour Jesus Christ. I love you. In Jesus name. Amen”
Now, after praying, listen to the Holy Spirit and be willing and obedient to obey! It’s that simple.
I love you and appreciate you being apart of my life, and allowing me to be apart of your life. Just knowing that you are going to be reading my letter here, is a humbling feeling. I am so very grateful for you!
May the Lord Jesus Christ fit well upon you…
With much respect,

“One of those weeks”
(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Please add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and Sunday Prayer Letter.)
Greetings!
Have you ever had one of those weeks that you give and give and give and give out of your heart, and all this ministry drains every once of energy from your body?
Well, this has been one of those weeks for me. Even as I write this letter, I just want to go back to bed, I am so exhausted…
However, I just keep moving… this morning I was up very early, first for my usual morning prayer time with the Lord, and then time to get ready for my first Church Builder’s and Pastor’s meeting. This meeting was a real eye-opener for me. Thank the Lord that he had my friend Steve there, because I really enjoyed his strength in the Lord. Steve is a minister and dedicated to God!
Later in the day, after the meeting, I spent some time praying over my preaching schedule for the coming weeks. It takes me so long to pray through things… I thank the Lord constantly for his patience, longsuffering with me. Thank you Jesus!
Now, it’s time to write my Sunday Prayer Letter… but alas, I’m so tired it’s difficult to receive from the Holy Spirit. I hope you know what I mean, it’s not that I’m lazy or a slacker.
Here is a good verse, it’s Proverbs 10:4, KJV… “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”
Joshua said here in this verse, “And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?” Joshua 18:3, KJV.
And here Peter said, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9, KJV.
So anyways, today is suppose to be my day of rest, a day off from preaching. And here at 2 o’clock, I feel like I’ve already put in a full day’s work! I suppose this is one of the numerous reasons why I so enjoy writing these letters; it gives me a chance to share my heart, and my feelings, and know that every one who reads this, can empathizes and pray for me, too! Hallelujah… God is wonderful and full of mercy and love.
I so hope, that you continue through the struggle and fall more in love with your Saviour and God, Jesus Christ. Because I know that he loves you!
Thank you for your prayers and concern… you truly are a blessing in my life…
I love you, in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ…
With a heart full of love,
—JC.
Psalm 145:17-20, KJV… “The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.”

“Have we not power”
(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Please add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and Sunday Prayer Letter.)
Greetings!
(This is ‘My Sunday Prayer Letters’ podcast link for today’s letter… “Have we not power…” On the show I use this letter as my script, plus a few more side bars and prayers; as the Holy Spirit leads. God bless you!)
This week has been filled with so much prayer that I think that I want to write today’s letter about what is underneath or what is inside and what is behind ‘PRAYER’, at least this is where I’m starting and from here the Holy Spirit tends to take over… praise God for that!
The two scriptures that are the heart of this letter are…
Acts 1:8, KJV… “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
1 Corinthians 9:1-27, KJV… “Have we not power…”
As a preacher, minister, and missionary; prayer is central to the ability to carry out the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Even as a Christian, we all are required to carry out “…the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” This is Ephesians 4:12-13, KJV.
But the questions is: how does all this work and secondly how can a Christian do this sort of stuff? Well, let’s start with the word of God. Does the word of God live in our life? Is God’s word, the Holy Bible, apart of our daily life? Then is talking to God in prayer also apart of our daily life?
Did you know that “power” is not talked about in many mainline denominations? Why? I think it’s because when you talk about power, you are actually talking about the Holy Ghost and that takes the “power” away from the clergy and puts in into the hearts and spirits of the congregants. In other words, the Pastor loses he’s power over his congregation!
Yea I know, that is pretty heavy stuff… but I don’t mind talking about stuff that other people don’t like to talk about. Because as a street preacher, I deal with lost souls by the thousands and they have a totally different story!
If I didn’t have power, I would not be able to minister the Holy Ghost to all the people who come by and those who mock and slander and ridicule Jesus Christ and myself. Street preachers need to be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost to preach the gospel of Christ.
Okay that’s fine for street preachers, but most of the people who read my prayer letters are not preachers, however, I wish they were… and why not, go out into your world and tell others about the saving grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? Why Not?
I know why. Every saint that is born again and is not filled with the Holy Ghost lacks the POWER. That’s it.
How about this verse: Acts 4:31, KJV… “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
And this verse: Colossians 1:9-10, KJV… “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work…”
I’m sort of laughing to myself, because so many think they want to overcome their problems and be set free. However, the majority of people I talk to are reluctant to receive the power of the Holy Ghost. Why? Well, for many Christians, they are taught that receiving power is like receiving a devil… and they’re scared into not receiving all that God has for them! I laugh, but it’s so sad.
It’s perfectly scriptural to …receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you… (Acts 1:8, KJV)
I see that this power can be turned off… I know, that sounds weird too! If spiritual gifts are not apart of our lives, then could it be that we lack power? Where do these spiritual gifts come from? Read 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, KJV. Verse one says, “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.”
Therefore, to not be “ignorant” I suppose that by studying… (2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”)… studying the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 12 would be a worthy undertaking and profitable in many ways that can produce answers to prayers!
So, again, how do we get our prayers answered? The answer is always in Jesus Christ! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6, KJV.
When we receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour, the Holy Ghost baptizes us into the family of God. We are then inside and not outside the family… we are no longer strangers, but family!
Family is important to God. “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3:14-19, KJV.
God bless you and may God fill you with all power to get the job done!
We all need each other, and we need to all work together, and we need to keep our prayers going for each other.
God hears our prayers. God knows what’s going on. God provides for every need. God loves us!
Just because we may not understand what is happening at the moment doesn’t mean that God doesn’t care and that God is not fighting for us. “For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” Deuteronomy 20:4, KJV.
Go with God and know that he is the LORD! In Jesus name, amen.
In the power of the Spirit,
—JC.
Psalm 59:16, KJV… “But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.”
Proverbs 3:27, KJV… “Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.”
Proverbs 18:21, KJV… “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

“He hath put a new song in my mouth”
(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Please and add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and Sunday Prayer Letter.)
Greetings!
(Before we get started, here is My Sunday Prayer Letters podcast link for today’s letter… He Hath Put A New Song In My Mouth. On the show I use this letter as my script and a few more side bars and prayers; as the Holy Spirit leads. Thank you!)
It seems that every day I come up against this idea of singing a new song! A new song… what is a new song? In the word of God, what is new?
Exodus 1:8, KJV, is the first mention of this word ‘new’… It says, “Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.” So the word ‘new’ is the opposite of ‘old’. Like in Romans 7:6, KJV, “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
New is sort of like, or is something that has not been used or seen or made before this new thing came about. It’s new! It’s not old! It has not been here before… it’s the first time to earth… God likes ‘NEW!” There are hundreds of samples of the word ‘new’ in the Holy Bible, and in every case God seems to be the one involved. Isn’t that amazing?
Just like this verse, 1 Chronicles 13:7, KJV… “And they carried the ark of God in a new cart… ”
And how about this verse, Psalm 33:3, KJV… “Sing unto him a new song… ”
Look at this verse, Isaiah 43:19, KJV… “Behold, I will do a new thing… ”
Another verse, Ezekiel 36:26, KJV… “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you… ”
Now here is a big one, John 13:34, KJV… “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” -Jesus speaking
This verse is like the one in John, 2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV… “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”
I need to continue here with this one, Revelation 5:9-10, KJV… “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Lastly this verse must be added to this list, Revelation 21:1, KJV… “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
My conclusion to this is, God loves doing NEW things!
The way I see it is, for us to have newness in our life, we absolutely need God in our life! Without God, through Jesus Christ as our Saviour, then forget about newness… because, new comes from God, not from man or the world. We do not have a new world, nor is man new… unless the man has been born-again through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
So, how does a preacher, like myself, make a new song?
In my spirit, I see and hear new songs within this new missionary church that God is asking me to build here in Boulder, Colorado. However, I can’t yet hear the exact words, it’s sort of fuzzy or blurring in my ear… but I can tell that it is new! How do I know that? Well, that’s a good question. I just know that it’s new!
Maybe God wants to do something NEW in your life… I mean it’s entirely possible and God is a miracle working God… miracles have not ended… do not listen to those who say miracles do not happen today. That is a lie and it is OLD! Miracles are NEW!
Could it be that, by receiving Jesus Christ as your Saviour, that Jesus has already begun a new thing in you?
I think the best way to answer a lot of these questions is to slow down, come to a stop, look both ways, and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to your spirit… could it be that you are NEW; and the devil and the world is saying something OLD to you and trying to convince you that you are old and not worth anything new?
These are tough questions, and questions that many Christians don’t ask themselves or even ask God.
It’s okay to ask God for something NEW! (NOTE: Please understand that I am NOT saying things like: new car, new house, new plane… LOL… no, don’t confuse this with christian worldly teaching. Okay?)
Let’s just do this… per Psalm 40:3, KJV… “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”
In newness of love and song,
—JC.
Psalm 40:1, KJV… “I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.”
Psalm 40:2, KJV… “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”
Psalm 40:3, KJV… “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”
Psalm 40:4, KJV… “Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.”

(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Why not go ahead and add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and Sunday Prayer Letter? Blessings!)
Greetings!
You know, I find it really interesting that every time that I sit down to write this, which I call, my Weekly Prayer Letter… I just want to write a short and quick note to just touch base or to check in… however, because I do this letter after several hours of spending time with God, I feel overwhelmed and filled to over flowing with God’s magnificence, that I want to write and write and write… lol, as I’m doing now!
However, I really do just want to check in and let you know that God loves you and I love you!
As I’ve preached all week, this one verse kept coming to me… “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16, KJV.
Isn’t that just an amazing verse?
I think that I could spend a lifetime in this one single verse!
The sad part is that I have heard it said from many many Christians that say, oh that verse is only for the Jews, not for the Gentiles! How horrible of a thing to say!!?
God loves us, his children… AND God loves those who don’t know him… AND God loves because, well, that’s just who he is… AMEN!
So when I preach and people hate on me for preaching Jesus Christ, I just love on them… and they just don’t know what to do with this love of God.
Loving people is what life is about.
Why is that? Well, like the verse says, “For God so loved…. that he gave… ” Wow, love gives… love doesn’t hate… love gives and gives and gives… no matter what. “… but love covereth all sins.” (Proverbs 10:12, KJV)
As it is also written in Matthew 5:44, KJV… “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
As I preach on the streets of Boulder, I love and I pray and I give… continually, and the enemy can’t fight back. Satan doesn’t know how to combat REAL – GOD – LIKE – LOVE… I’m not talking about lust, or anything ungodly, no… this is the type of love that is in John 3:16… for God so loved that he gave…
You are wonderful, and I think you for giving your time to read all my letters. You truly are a blessing to me, and to those whom you don’t know… yet. Heaven awaits all of us who love thy salvation!
Thank you Lord for helping all of us to love people no matter what. Thank you Holy Spirit for showing us and teaching us how to love people, all people, no matter what. Thank you Father for being the loving Father that you are and showing us how to love like you love… because you said, in John 3:16… for you so loved that you gave… that is so beautiful and wonderful, Father. Thank you so very much! In Jesus name… our awesome Saviour and Lord! Amen.
With all my love,
—JC.
Psalm 70:4, KJV… “Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.”
Proverbs 8:17, KJV… “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”

(The following is my Weekly Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, September 21st, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Why not go ahead and add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and Weekly Prayer Letter? Blessings!)
Greetings!
For some reason, the number one question I have for people is, how’s your prayer life? And sometimes when ministering, I will say… the answer is in your prayer life.
Prayer is “beseech” … “request” … “intreat” … “petition” … “intercede” … now, when I do an in depth study of the word of God in respect to prayer, what I continually come up with is relationship and communication, in other words, talking to God on an ongoing, regular, consistent, and personal basis.
The above key words all have a manner of earnestness of seriousness and exactness. Never do I see a flippant mindset towards God for prayer, nor do I see anger as a prayer, or even an ordering about of God, as if the person praying is the boss and God is the servant… I say this because I’ve seen it and heard it in Christians… this is very dangerous. God is the Almighty and we are his servants, his children in the family of God… if you’re a believer.
So if I take all of this and wrap it up in a single word/phrase, I would call it: “prayer life.”
Having a life filled with prayer has abundant blessings and joy and grace and peace that overflows our heart into the lives of people around us.
This type of “prayer life” may produce a heart filled with the love of God, and a receptive heart to receive the love of God… and thus the people we minister to could or might feel this love of God or maybe a feeling that we love them!
When I’m on the streets preaching, people can instantly pick up, if I have a heart of love or a heart of hate. When a preacher peaches words of hate, their heart could be filling up with hate, and they may not even recognize what is happening. We must always be alert to our enemy, Satan. He is a deceiver and a liar from the beginning, and the father of lies!
Therefore when we preach words of love, our heart fills with love and the people can actually pick it up! It’s really amazing! Along with this love, we all must be holy… without sin… without reproach… without unbelief in Christ… do you get the picture? If we do sin, Jesus is quick to forgive if we ask for his forgiveness. But we can work daily on not allowing sin to enter our hearts, this takes an awareness of how sin comes or rather where it comes from… namely from the devil. (Study Ephesians chapter six; “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”)
Now when we leave the house and go out into the world, we can leave as holy and perfect… as God is holy and perfect. As it is written in Matthew 5:48, KJV… “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Also in Ephesians 5:27, KJV… “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
Okay, here is what I actually wanted to say in this weekly prayer letter, the topic or theme of intercession; as per Romans 8:26, KJV.
As I’ve been preaching for the last four months, I’ve noticed that intercession is a primary part of ministering on the streets, at least for me. However, to intercede like what is written in Romans 8:26; holiness must be paramount! There are two things that I see here: one is Christians don’t believe that they can be holy and without sin. Number two: since the Christian believes that they have sin and thus are not holy; they concede that they also can’t preach the gospel.
Yes I know, that sounds pretty strict and hard… but when I was preaching in Christian circles, I didn’t feel the need to be holy and perfect… why? because, many were not and they wouldn’t say anything anyways.
But now, I’m out in the public arena and on the streets preaching to the lost and the real sinners… those who don’t believe in Jesus Christ or God or even Heaven… or even Hell… they think my preaching of the gospel of Christ sounds like foolishness! I even hear this foolishness coming from false christians… those who think they are saved, but have never repented and received the new life of Christ and the gift of the Holy Ghost, (which is the only way we get saved; the Holy Spirit baptizes us into the family of God when we believe on Jesus Christ the Son of God, then we become new creatures in Christ!) Praise his holy name! Thank you Jesus!
Let me finish this difficult letter right here with these verses in Romans…
“Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” -Romans 8:26, KJV
“And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” -Romans 8:27, KJV
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28, KJV
I feel like I need to apologize for this weekly prayer letter, it feels extremely heavy… but if the Holy Spirit wants me to write this way, then that is what I also want… I only want to do what God wants me to do; and I only want to say what God wants me to say. If I messed up, please forgive me… thanks!
As you have been with me through all these letters, some are peculiar and of need of some thought, and a bit of research into the word of God. Hopefully, all my letters have been of interest and of ministry… I always pray over every single letter, asking the Holy Spirit to anoint the letter, and to bless the one reading the letter, in Jesus name.
Be blessed… God loves you!
With grace and humility,
—JC.

(The following is my Weekly Prayer Letter; written Saturday afternoon, September 14th, that I send out early Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Go ahead and add yourself to my Daily Prayer List and receive my Weekly Prayer Letter. Amen?)
Greetings!
I am so happy this week is over and we are onto a new week! This verse here says it all for me…
“Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.” -1 John 3:13, KJV.
This week was an abundance of hatred from the world toward me as I preached the gospel Christ. People who said they where Christians but were not, attacked with vengeance… those who hate Jesus Christ, and love the world, attacked with enormous hatred. Even the weather was nearly unbearable, fierce winds, torrential rains, hail stones hurdling onto me and around, and severe heat from the sun! This has been one week for the record book in my preaching history. It was so terrible that on Friday I had to cancel my preaching event.
But alas, God is good and Jesus is on our side, for those who love him.
Possibly much of my joy does come from praying and spending time with God. Every morning I use my Daily Prayer List to approach God by faith. Because of this daily prayer list, I can mention each person’s name, like your name, and for some reason, this brings a lot of joy into my heart!
Possibly we can use this verse to explain that… “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” -1 John 3:18, KJV.
Prayer takes time and effort and actually a heartfelt concern for your brother and sister in the Lord. Giving is also in this similar venue; that is why I give every chance I can to the poor enough money to buy a couple hamburgers and a cup of coffee at McDonalds or Seven Eleven, here in Boulder. It’s a strange event when I offer without being asked… it’s like they don’t know what to say… because they are so used to begging… and here I come… offering and blessing them! Praying and Giving…. two great actions in the world that the devil hates. Maybe that’s why I do it so much!
Look at this verse… “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” -Galatians 6:7, KJV.
And the following two verses… “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” -Galatians 6:9-10, KJV.
So I see opportunity every where I go, and I use this opportunity to preach the gospel, minister the Holy Spirit, and build the church of Jesus Christ; by any means possible… even if the world hates me for what I am doing.
As the scripture says, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” -Romans 8:31, KJV.
Just writing this prayer letter is giving me great joy, and a hope that all that I do as a preacher is not in vain, because again as the scripture clearly tells us… “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, that he that is in the world.” -1 John 4:4, KJV.
Thank you so very much for being apart of what the Lord is doing in the world. Because as this verse says, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” -John 12:32, KJV. (Yes, I realize this is in telling what kind of death Jesus would have, but I also see it as when I lift up my banner of truth with JESUS CHRIST on the sign… you and I together are lifting up Jesus Christ to bring the Word of Salvation to all men!) Praise the LORD!
I said that because you are apart of what I am doing as a preacher of Jesus Christ and that you are on my daily prayer list. God bless you!
I think I’m going to close here, I’m still recuperating from this week… because Sunday, I head out again into the streets of Boulder, Colorado compelling all to come to Jesus.
May you love Jesus…
May you love your brother…
May you love NOT the world…
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” -Ephesians 4:20-21, KJV.
With great respect,
—JC.
Psalm 119:117, KJV… “Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.”

(The following is my Sunday Prayer Letter; written on Saturday, September 7th, that I send out Sunday morning to my Daily Prayer List. Go ahead and add yourself to my Daily Prayer List. Amen!)
Greetings!
You are so very important to me and to the ministry that is in Boulder and beyond. I say this because, this daily prayer list and letter, brings such a powerful anointing from the Holy Spirit, that the Spirit compels me to study the word of God with all diligence because of the ministry of the word to the people.
Thank you very much for being apart of this prayer ministry, and the preaching of the gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation, of which I am preaching with all my heart in this city of Boulder.
You make it possible to go forth with confidence and assurance; because I know that there are fellow servants praying and supporting this work… I feel so humbled, even by just writing this prayer letter, I feel in awe of your love. Thank you and thank you.
In today’s prayer time, which is nearly the entire day, I use Saturday as a time of rest in the Lord and a time to pray and study his word… this provides the means to write every prayer letter. Thank you Jesus, I love you!
Briefly let’s look at Matthew 13:23, KJV… “But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
The best way to understand this verse is to read the entire context of it; Matthew 13:1-23, KJV. I only put the last verse here, because I want to go over to another book of the New Testament; Colossians. Here in this book, or rather letter or epistle, how ever you want to call it… relates to what bringing forth fruit is all about.
I talk with lots of people every day that I’m out preaching, and I can readily see that the seed that is sown in their heart is not the correct seed. Boulder has lots of spiritual teachings that are from Satan. Boulder is sort of known for its spiritual people, but this is not the same spirit as God’s people! Of course they think they are, the problem truly lies in the concept called, itching ears…
2 Timothy 4:3-4, KJV… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
Now, this may not be a problem, but of course it is… the seed comes from inside the fruit, which comes from the tree; and seed produces after its own kind… see Genesis 1:11, KJV. This is very important and cannot be taken lightly. The verse I started off with is key: Matthew 13:23, KJV. This can be looked at as; 100 fold return on good seed, or 100 fold return on evil seed! Can you see the problem?
So the question is: what kind of seed is being sown in our heart?
I don’t really know why I seem to get so heavy in this stuff, but it just means so much to me and I spend such a lot of time studying the word of God, and not just study, but preaching the word every day, six days a week, 20 hours a week… that’s a lot of seed sowing! My hope is to continue through at least 12 months for a total of 1,000 hours of preaching… and the method that I use, per the Holy Spirit, I hope to touch one million people for heaven in one year! Please, also keep me in your prayers… the devil is not liking what I am doing!
The book of Colossians should be read aloud. It’s very short, only about 4 1/2 chapters (it sort of ends at verse 7 in chapter 4… verses 7-18 are about Paul asking for help, kind of.)
When you do read Colossians out loud, read slowly… very slowly, because it’s concentrated! Yea, not diluted! LOL :)
God is so good to his children… I do hope and continue to pray for you.
Continue daily in the word of God… I think that our answers can be found in the word of God.
May you be strong and mighty… powerful and filled with the Holy Ghost!
Amen.
With much respect for you,
—JC.
Psalm 1, KJV…
1 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

(The following is today’s Prayer Letter, August 31st, that I sent to my Daily Prayer List. Again I thought I would copy and paste it here for all to read. Add yourself to my daily prayer list. Amen!)
Greetings!
Well as of today, which for me as I write this to you, is Saturday late afternoon and the last day of August, 2019! And what a month this has been! For some odd reason, that I’m unaware of, this month of August has been extremely difficult and with lots of hardship and frustration, along with confusion and much work from the enemy for many people.
However for me and my own life, August has been one of the very best months that I’ve had in many many years! For example: I’ve had the blessed opportunity to preach and witness to 67,000 people!!! This is not an exact number, but I think it is somewhat close and a sort of an estimation.
Along with the enormous amount of people touched for heaven this month, I’ve also been blessed to intercede on their behalf to Jesus Christ; more prayers than I’ve ever prayed in my entire life as a Christian! This is over 80 hours of intercessional prayer in the Spirit… this is so exciting and at the same time… exhausting! But God has provided to me several extra measures of physical stamina and strength; to the point that many people commented on my youthfulness and joy!
Let’s take a quick look at Romans 8:28, KJV… “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Now let’s look at Romans 8:18, KJV… “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Because of working with so many people this month, I’ve been with people who are suffering of this present time… and I realize that of all the suffering that I’ve witnessed… that all things work together for good…
And this is why I daily talk about getting closer to God and building an amazing relationship and fellowship with the Holy Spirit of God. By reading the context of these previous two verses, we can see that the Holy Spirit is well aware of our pain, our suffering, our groanings… and our travailing in pain.
For some reason, many experience an extremely difficult time with looking past the suffering to the glory we as Christians will soon live with… heaven.
We look from our suffering into the future and it looks like we will never end this hardship… but let us see that the future looks long, but the past appears short… therefore, what we suffer will be just a short time.
Our healing… our deliverance… our salvation… is now! What I am currently being taught by the Holy Spirit is, how to receive these.
I marvel at our struggle to receive the goodness of God. When people are suffering, I notice that the people push the answer or the healing or even the gift of God away from them. Why? I don’t know the real answer, God knows.
What I do know is that God desires to fight for us, and heal us, and deliver us, and bless us with abundant peace, love, joy, and grace to the point where we may be full.
Be full of joy… have life, and have it more abundantly!
Daily, in prayer for you,
John.

(The following is today’s Prayer Letter, August 24th, that I sent to my Daily Prayer List. Once again I thought I would copy and paste it here for all to read. Add yourself to my daily prayer list. Amen!)
Greetings!
The moment I wrote the title of today’s prayer letter… “Every word of God…” I could feel my spirit leap within me! Isn’t that weird? How does that happen? I love God!
But this was a small part of my bible study with the Holy Ghost today. There was lots of different verses scattered throughout the word of God. However, this one verse really stuck out to me and it looks like it’s the one that will be briefly talked about.
Here is the entire passage as found in the Authorized King James Version, it’s just two verses:
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” This is Proverbs 30:5-6, KJV.
To me these verses relate to others, such as Romans 1:16 and 1 Corinthians 1:18 and many others. The thought that really came to me was, ‘look at all the people changing the word of God today.’
How can that be? Well, it’s quite simple; the devil hates every word of God! Since the devil, Satan, is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44, KJV) It goes to reason that the devil will do whatever he can to corrupt and change and add and delete and generally twist and confuse the entire word of God; and make it all feel normal and good! Welcome to the modern versions!
I think as I did last week, I’m going to put the New Testament references to the word ‘liar’ at the end of this prayer letter. It’s that important to understand!
Because I spent nearly all my Christian life reading and studying modern versions, I found that I was just always a little bit off… and somewhat confused in certain things. It seemed to always be a problem understanding and having faith in the word of God. Why?
Now, I compare my previous time with the word of God to the last five years of living in the Authorized King James Version of the word of God; and WOW!!! What a difference it has been in my walk of faith!
Realize, that the KJV is a book… not a ‘magic wand’ that magically makes everything better in life! That is stupid! But, there are those who claim magic based upon the KJV. That is a liar! Okay?
We don’t get saved by a book. We get saved by our faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God! We repent and believe in Jesus and the Holy Ghost baptizes us into one body, the body of Christ! Amen.
Just reading this should get you excited! If not, then possibly there could be some hindrances; such as unforgiveness.
The reason I say this is due to Mark 11:24-26, KJV. These are key verses to getting our prayers answered!!! In fact, this could be something really good for you. Mark 11:24 is famous! (The entire chapter 11 is important.)
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Because God knows what’s going on, he sees each of us as we truly attempt to follow every word of God. Even now as I write this prayer letter, I am double checking and making sure that what I write is… is… is… the word of God!
Why do I do that? Because the word of God says, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
Trust Jesus, the Word. Do NOT trust the world, or its wisdom.
Beware! “Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
If we keep messing around with the word of God, who is actually the author; then look out!
People go for years and decades without a problem with the bible that their reading. And I’m referring to a corrupted bible, a modern version (anything after 1881-1885, the Revised Version) and they tell me, what’s the problem John? You are so legalistic! Well, I take the word of God seriously… and not as a flippant bystander who is not really concerned with the pure words of God.
Look, I’ve been walking this life with Jesus for over 45 years, non-stop, and fully committed… I’ve been around the block, sort of speak, and what I’m writing today is extremely important… from this day forward. Yes, a day is coming when God is not going to wink his eye at his children reading a polluted word of God, which is not pure and not holy and not of God.
Yes, I know that I just wrote a very heavy letter. However, I write as I’m moved by the Holy Ghost. Therefore, what is written here is a word of exhortation; to be holy and to be perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
(We all know that our heavenly Father forgives… okay?)
God bless you,
Your brother in Christ,
John.
Revelation 3:19, KJV… “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”
Liar: 14 verses in the New Testament, per KJV:
Jn 8:4. Jn 8:55. Ro 3:4. 1Ti 1:10. Tit 1:12. Tit 2:14. 1Pe 2:9. 1Jn 1:10. 1Jn 2:4. 1Jn 2:22. 1Jn4:20. 1Jn 5:10. Re 2:2. Re 21:8.

Greetings!
I feel where you are. Because I’m still healing from a severally broken and crushed knee and leg bone that also caused my foot to become paralyzed for three months. Prior to this horrible skateboard wreck… I had been very fortunate to not have had any serious injuries. And I have had many opportunities to be severally hurt and in two cases killed. But alas, not until I was 65 and retired did I suffer a life changing event!
Even now, as I type, my left leg is hurting and my left foot is tingling with healing nerve damage. But there is one thing I know for sure… Jesus Christ is my healer and my God in whom I trust and have my life and liberty! Thank you Jesus… praise and glory to you forever and ever. Amen!
The last two paragraphs are an introduction to what is really on my mind this week. Namely, our conscience. In the New Testament, KJV, there are 30 verses that reference our conscience. I think at the end of this letter I’ll write each reference out so that if you want you can look each one up as sort of a bible study.
The definition of conscience is Romans 2:15… “Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;”
Conscience is your heart (in their hearts); and possibly the voice of your spirit (also bearing witness); your thoughts (their thoughts the mean). By the way, this is an example of using Scripture to define key words used in the word of God. The idea is defining Scripture with Scripture, not with man’s words, but rather with God’s words! Cool huh? (Also, this only works with the King James version… this is another interesting thing in regards to the Authorized King James Version!) I guess God knows how to write his own book! Man seems to always mess things up. Oh well… God is good!
Several days ago when I was praying, it’s as if I could hear the words, “Developing the Voice of Your Conscience”… man, did I get excited! This to me is one of the most difficult things to develop as a Christian. How I personally have done it is this way: when I think of something that I am to do, or say, or whatever… I say to myself; ‘When you think of it, you do it!’ (Then I do it immediately!!!!) (I don’t argue with myself and not do it.)
By using this little phrase… I have been able to build up and make more sure the voice of my conscience. This is heard as, bearing witness in my spirit.
For example in a bad way, such as not obeying my conscience, I remember my conscience saying, ‘keep your line’… this was in reference to while I was skating, to not veer off my course. I didn’t listen! I just said to myself, ‘oh I’m alright.’ Do you see what just happened? This is important… let me rephrase this… my spirit knew what was going to happen because my spirit is filled with the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit! My spirit could not humble itself because my flesh (my carnal self) (my body) said, ‘shut up spirit… I’m going to do what I want to do.’
How many times have we neglected the voice of our spirit, our conscience? Now, how many times have we made mistakes or have gotten hurt in some way? Seems to me that there is a correlation to flesh pride that says, I know what I’m doing. To the other, a humble spirit, that says, watch out!
Well that’s exactly what happened to me… I refused to listen and heed to my spirit, via the voice of my conscience, and wrecked on my skateboard; resulting to probably a lifetime of pain and a deformed leg. Now, how important is it to listen to our conscience??? Yea, I agree!
There is so little teaching in the churches about our conscience, but there is lots of teaching in the word of God about our conscience. Why don’t churches teach on conscience? I think the big reason is the modern corrupted versions that have been around for so long, in a popular way, since the early 1970’s with the introduction of the New International Version, NIV. And going back even further to the start of modern versions, in 1881 with the Revised Version. Anyways, this is a whole other topic and not for this letter.
As I was reviewing some Scriptures in other versions right now, I caught myself getting really angry at how the Scriptures have been twisted. I spent most of my Christian life studying twisted and manipulated Scripture… no wonder I still have trouble with hearing the word of God!
Using the phrase, ‘When you think of it, you do it’… has and is continuously building up my awareness of my spirit which is saved in Jesus Christ. Developing the voice of your conscience is critical to growing in Christ Jesus. I suppose that is why God said to renew our mind to the word of God.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” -Romans 12:2, KJV
Let’s not be conformed to this world…
May you be transformed….
Yes, by the renewing of your mind…
That you may prove what is that good… acceptable… perfect….
Will of God… for you!
Thank you for your faith…
Preacher John
Psalm 70:4, KJV… “Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.”

(The following is today’s Prayer Letter, August 10th, that I sent to my Daily Prayer List. Once again I thought I would copy and paste it here for all to read. Add yourself to my daily prayer list. Thank you for your faith!)
Greetings!
Such a busy week we’ve had! Some have had a rather slow week, while others have had a fast week with lots of events and activities. In either case, this is a week in August that schools around the country are gearing up for the new school year. This includes retail stores, book stores, and even end of summer events. Lots of things are happening in the spirit as well!! Amen.
I really enjoy the month of August. For many people, this is a month of change. I like change! I can’t stand things sitting still and doing nothing. I get bored quickly. Therefore, I get very busy in this month of August, because of all the change that is happening around me. If things aren’t changing… I force them to change! That’s just me though… and God knows that about me… hallelujah for that… and I believe that God knows you!
The other thing that I just realized, is that some may be reading this prayer letter in a different month than August. Strange, how can I write and talk about change in a month that you may not be in?
And that’s what I want to talk about in this week’s Prayer Letter. The idea comes from Psalm 27… the entire Psalm! It’s an amazing and powerful declaration written by King David. He starts off by saying…
“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1, KJV
One of the many reasons why I like this, is that he address the issue of ‘FEAR’… not the kind of fear in scripture that says… ‘fear God’… (“Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16, KJV) It’s the fear of man or the fear of change that I refer to… or something like that?
For this month of change this is good. Why? Because the majority of people hate change and don’t want to change, or change scares them. Yes, doing something different gets to be extremely difficult the more we age. I’m 66 years of age this year, and I force myself to be in change. Because change helps to keep our spirit active in seeking God.
When there is little to no change, and it doesn’t matter what kind of change… good or bad… it all works for our favour, for those of us who love God with our whole heart. That’s true, isn’t it?
In Psalm 27, there are 14 verses that can make change easier for us. Many, if not all of us, are in some way in the process of change… therefore, this could be another great passage of God’s Holy Word that can bring relief.
You know the other day, as I was praying, I kept picking up that God knows every tiny part of us and wants to help us… but he won’t do it for us… we must go through the change… because in the change, God can do some wondrous things that bring us closer to him. Amen?
Psalm 27:5 says… “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.”
I really love this because it seems to relate somewhat to Psalm 91:1-2… “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” (KJV)
Wow! I was just rereading aloud what I just now wrote and I could feel my spirit rising up within me! This is why it is so very important to read God’s word out loud so that our ears can hear the words… something happens in our spirit that is most powerful. This is a key aspect to building ourselves up in the Lord.
The next verse that jumps off the page for me is… Psalm 27:6… “…therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.” Verse 7… “Hear, O Lord, when I cry (cry is to SHOUT!) with my voice…”
God wants us to SHOUT his praises!!! When we shout, the spirit moves… and the devil moves out of the way! The devil hates it when God’s people SHOUT unto the Lord his praises. Joy is to sing… “…for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10, KJV
Joy can be an entire study… it’s a magnificent activity that can do lots of good for those of us who may be suffering, in any way… joy can be the answer… again, the devil hates joy. Absolutely!
Let’s finish up with the last verse of Psalm 27… “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Waiting is often times the hardest thing to do… probably the best thing I could say now is to ask the Holy Spirit to teach how to wait on the Lord. By asking, he will give the answer. By NOT asking, he will NOT give the answer. By asking according to the word of God, believing that we receive what we ask for, then we shall have that thing we ask for. This is in Mark 11:24.
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24, KJV
May the Lord be your light…
And be your salvation…
May the Lord be the strength of your life…
You too can say, whom shall I fear?
With great respect for you,
Preacher John.
Psalm 25:4, KJV… “Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.”
Psalm 25:5, KJV… “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.”

(The following is today’s Prayer Letter, August 3rd, that I sent to my Daily Prayer List. Once again I thought I would copy and paste it here for all to read. God bless you. If interested; add yourself to my daily prayer list. Thank you for your faith!)
Greetings!
God never ceases to amaze me! Everyday there is a beautiful relationship building thing that happens with me and God. And just exactly how does this happen you ask? Well, the best that I can think of is my prayer life. Yes, I believe that my prayer lifestyle that was developed many many years ago has sustained my continual relationship with God and has been the catalyst that propels God and I closer together.
Yes, I realize that what I just said may not resonate with you or actually anyone! But with me, and the working career that I’ve had for forty years, truck driving across the country, has shaped my relationship with God.
Also, I understand that God has built a different relationship with each and every one of his children. Now, that is a wonderful statement! God truly and wonderfully cares for each of his kids, individually and personally! How can that be?
If this question is asked, then there might be a disconnect with God. If so, it’s easy and simple to reconnect. Yes it is! I think prayer solves every problem, even starting with a disconnect and moving on with a deeper and a more meaningful relationship.
I call these letters, “Prayer Letters” because you are on my Daily Prayer List! And the purpose for my Prayer Letter is to edify, and exhort, and comfort you. Absolutely! I get the idea for these letters from 1 Corinthians 14. It’s a great chapter on what should follow after Charity (love in action). Verse 1 says, “Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.” Verse 3 says, “But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.”
This word “prophesy” is not the same word as “prophecy” (which is to foretell the future). One has an “s” the other has a “c”… this helps me to distinguish between the two types of words. Yes, they are somewhat similar, but at the same time, they are different.
The idea of “comfort” comes from the word relationship, or to be by your side, to help you, and to assist you, and to do whatever needs to be done to provide in every area of your life. Actually, comfort is an amazing word! I suppose that is why the Holy Spirit is also called the Comforter! And this is why I am writing today’s letter… it’s about the Holy Spirit.
This week, on Monday, I made a huge mistake by disobeying the Holy Spirit while I was preaching up on University Hill at 13th and Broadway in Boulder, Colorado. I am going to confess here now, to give an example of how a preacher, or anyone, can fall out of relationship with God.
The Holy Spirit directed me to go directly home after my preaching session, which is around three hours. I had a great time preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and had lots and lots of people talk to me about Jesus. It was a wonderful time with the people. Yes, I still get lots of mockers, but that’s part of street preaching. At the same time, I get lots of encouragement from other Christians. It’s marvelous and lots of fun for me!
When I was to be finished preaching, the Holy Spirit very specifically directed me to go straight home after my preach. Now, here is where I disobeyed… instead of going straight home, I went to a nearby pizza joint and had pizza and watched a stupid show on the television they had on… man, I should never had been there. Then, on the way home I hurt my broken leg and my knee swelled up and caused me to not be able to walk for the next three and a half days! Plus, the Holy Spirit, in my own terms, laid me off work for the next four days! (My work is preaching!)
Of course, I’ve repented and asked the Holy Spirit for forgiveness. Now, to some this may seem extremely small and insignificant. However, you must understand, that I’m a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and a church pastor (building a new missionary church in Boulder) and held accountable for everything I do. Furthermore, I invite and ask the Holy Spirit to be my “Boss” and to be my “Leader” and to be my “Pastor”… the Holy Spirit is extremely important to the body of Christ. Because he is the one that is on earth right now working. Jesus is in heaven and the Father is in heaven. (You can read about this in the first chapter of Acts.)
Our individual relationships with God is different with each one of us. I just wanted to give an example of one child of God and his dealings with God… namely me!
I sincerely pray that you too have built a lasting and deep ongoing relationship with Almighty God! As you continue building and developing your relationship, may you be awe struck at the beauty of God and his majesty!
Your humbled prayer partner,
Preacher John.

Greetings!
In all my years of ministry, in all its various and weird ways that the Lord has used me as his servant; I can see that when a prophet minister delivers a word from the Lord and the people do not listen or do the thing preached or ministered, things don’t work out very well for the people.
I know that sounds odd, or maybe not with the word of God, but there is just to many examples in the Old and in the New Testament that give clear examples of a minister delivering a specific word to the people.
Right now, I just want to use one example, it’s in 1 Samuel 13:7-15 or even a few more verses above this and below it. (Samuel is the prophet of God. Saul is the king of Israel.) The main text is: 1. The prophet knowing what happened and asking a question: “What hast thou done?” Samuel knew by the Spirit of truth that Saul had done something wrong!
Number 2. Saul says, “I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.” This is not good at all!
Number 3. Then Samuel says, “Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee…”
The story goes on and tells about all the problems that will now come and the fate of Saul. It’s not good for Saul. This is a good read and worth a few minutes to go read and think about what is going on here in this story.
So back to my own ministry: by the Holy Spirit and his gifts, I minister to the people on the streets and around here in my city and I find out the people are not doing what the Holy Spirit said for them to do, or some directions of sorts, which is personal and pointed directly to their own individual situations. Why haven’t the people acted upon the direction of the Lord?
This is a question for all of us, me included! When either God directs a person to something or God uses one of his ministers to deliver a word of knowledge or word of wisdom, or even a direct passage of scripture to them… why don’t the people hear and do?
I’m not sure if we’ll ever get the answer. I think it takes nearly a lifetime of seeking the Lord to be fully willing and fully obedient to God and all the ways that God uses to get his message to the people. God speaks differently to every person. Oft times this comes in different ways to the same person. I suppose this is where some confusion comes in.
It’s similar to how the word of God is written, which is by God, therefore he uses different takes on the same story to get his point across to the people. This is, I suppose, why Jesus is so often saying, if you have hears to hear and eyes to see.
The world and Satan spends every moment getting your attention. In today’s world, it seems that distractions are killing people every day! Distracted driving, distracted cycling, distracted walking, and every other way of moving and living is in a minute by minute world of distraction! How sad.
Let’s not be a slave to distractions. Pull away from the world. Stop listening to the noise. Calm your heart and mind. Be at peace. Slow down. Stop what you’re doing. Now turn towards Jesus Christ. Humble yourself before the Lord. Listen. Hear. Watch. See.
Amen.

Greetings!
Hope this letter finds you well and filled with the Holy Spirit of God!
The Holy Spirit is our Comforter. According to the word of God in John 14:26, KJV. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Also; Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” -John 14:16, KJV
Jesus goes onto say, “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” -John 14:17, KJV
And here too; “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” -John 15:26, KJV
I feel like I need to add a few more verses for you to either read here or even get your bible out and do a little bible study around these verses. Because, once again, I sat down to write this prayer letter with a completely different topic or thought and verse on my mind… then the moment I began to type… the Holy Spirit showed me something totally different… I must obey the Spirit of truth… for he has the truth that I seek after in God! Do you feel the same way?
Three more verse came to me; “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
“He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
“All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” -John 16-13, 14, 15, KJV
I don’t have a lot to say about these verses except to say, read them slowly and deliberately, not speed reading, nor glancing at them… there is something unique that happens when we ask the Holy Spirit to show us the truth in God’s word and then to actually receive it… this is an amazing feeling of praise and thanksgiving to God!
Serving the Lord, by the power and truth of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, is the one thing that sets preaching and ministering and even praying apart from the majority of Christians. This may sound bad, but it’s not… by receiving the Spirit of God, like the word says, “…and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” -Acts 4:31, KJV
I was just looking at the bible and saw this verse, “Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.” -2 Corinthians 7:4, KJV
Can you see the words, boldness… great… filled… comfort… joyful… tribulation… ?
Tribulation is Anguish, Romans 2:9… it is Adversities, 1 Samuel 10:19… it is Trouble, 2 Thessalonians 1:6,7. KJV
I pray the Holy Spirit of God comfort you in any tribulation that may be around you or in you or coming your way.
May the Comforter greatly comfort you and give you amazing peace.
May the Spirit of truth fill you with exceeding joyfulness in all your goings out and comings in.
May you be filled with the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen.
Your prayer partner,
Preacher John :)
Psalm 91:15-16, KJV… “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

Greetings!
Amazing things are happening in this great city of Boulder, Colorado! I praise God that I have the wonderful opportunity to preach Jesus Christ here on the streets of Boulder!
A few things I’ve noticed over the last few months:
1. Be Consistent… do something for Jesus on a regular schedule that is predictable and therefore, consistent. Being consistent with a little thing is actually a sort of test for you by God to see if you will be faithful with the little things and the physical things before God will give you bigger things and spiritual things. I’m speaking in a general sense, okay.
2. Be Persistent… this is being persistent with your consistency! Being persistent is fighting through the obstacles that the devil throws in your path. Persistence is something that is required to withstand the storms of daily preaching for Jesus Christ. Persistence will keep you there where God put you to preach. If you lose your persistence, then you drop back to being consistent… remember that God is always working with us and helping us to grow as the children of God.
3. God will give the Increase… this is how you grow. You don’t increase yourself. You let God increase your preaching and ministering. This is very important! Allowing God to be the Lord of the harvest, the one who gives the increase is difficult for carnal Christians to fully understand. This is where lots of prayer is required! Pray and pray and pray… you just can never stop praying to God.
None of the three things I just wrote negate the need for planning and thinking and working with the Holy Ghost. For example here are some of the current plans and numbers that I have before the Father, in prayer:
A. Banners – 1,000,000 souls a year may view preaching banner.
B. Tracts – 10,000 souls a year get a gospel tract.
C. Prayer Requests – 1,000 souls a year receive prayers.
D. Bible Study – 100 souls a year begin studying the bible.
E. Cell Groups – 10 souls a year form a new cell group.
F. Church Assembly – 10 to 100 souls come together as a family.
G. Missionary Giving – 10 to 100 souls give to build the Kingdom of God.
My life vision is 1,000,000 souls are in heaven because I lived.
This is why I work for God and not for the devil nor the world.
God bless you as you serve the Lord Jesus Christ as he has called you.
Do all things in the name of Jesus Christ!
—John.

Greetings!
Things are really happening here in Boulder! My ongoing Banner preaching has brought about lots of activity in the spirit. People are taking notice of JESUS CHRIST.
It’s been about 8 weeks now, maybe more, of preaching every Sunday and some days through the week. My probable estimation for the number of people who have witnessed my banner of truth is 50,000 people!
I know that sounds like a lot of people… and it is! I actually think it’s over that amount, because where I am preaching is in very busy locations. Boulder is a busy place!
I’m sort of “advertising for Jesus Christ”… and this is what the Lord asked of me awhile back. He said, I want you to advertise. I could not figure out nor understand what that meant? “ADVERTISE!” Like in a newspaper, or an online ad, or what? So, I just kept on praying and asking God for his will to be done, and to give me understanding.
Then one day… as I was doing some research, I heard the Lord say, that’s what I want you to do. I was shocked, because I was looking at big and huge vinyl banners with bible verses and bible phrases all over them!!!
You want me to lift up a banner of truth on the streets of Boulder, Colorado???
Well, needless to say, that is exactly what I’ve been doing for the last several months.
Preaching… “ADVERTISING”… for JESUS CHRIST!
Praise the LORD!
Hope you have a great day!

Greetings!
What a life we have in Jesus! I’m so totally excited, because of my continual walk with God. Every day and many times throughout the day, I’m praying, talking to God, about what is going on in the city of Boulder, and of course all over the world too!
Stuff is really happening in the Spirit. Things are moving around and getting ready for something pretty big! I sure hope everyone is ready.
Being ready for God is a key to staying close to God. How do we get or stay ready? Prayer from your spirit, study in the Word of God, willingness and obedience to the commandments of God, and a massive sense of humbleness; those things are a good start at it! Allow and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with the fruits of the Spirit.
Jesus is coming! When? If you died today, he would be coming today…. are you saved… are you ready to meet your Creator?
Turn onto Jesus. Acts 2:21 says, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Also it is written in Acts 2:38, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Have a great day,
—John.

Greetings!
There has been a lot going on in regards to the Lord helping me in getting to the starting gate for launching Gospel Evangelist Church in Boulder, Colorado!
May 3, 2019, Friday, will be the start date of what I’m calling “My Life Fast”… for the next 133 days, I will be fasting my life, that is my usual life as I live it and that includes all day and evenings and night time, I guess! My full focus will be on preaching and ministering and building using the Eight Things that are laid out in one of the church tabs above on this website.
Because I’m a number’s person, I’m looking to tract-preach 100 tracts daily, Monday-Friday. Then I’m looking to banner-preach on Saturday and Sunday, eight hours each day, this will give me about 50,000 banner views over the weekend. And then another 500 tracts for the week. (I’m using the tracts to introduce myself, to invite and to give a gospel salvation message to each person.)
I have 20 weeks until the hard-launch on Sunday, September 15, 2019. These 20 weeks will give me 1,000,000 gospel-banner views and 10,000 gospel-tracts, and that’s just here in the city limits of Boulder, Colorado!
Tomorrow I should be able to book the meeting rooms at the Embassy Suites, they have a very nice place and this is the place that the Lord keeps showing me, so that’s where the First Sunday will be held, as of today! Things do change, though. I just have to see how things progress. But the meeting rooms will be booked, no doubt about that.
Plus, I’m ready with the School, and the Cell Groups, and the organization of the Church Assembly… actually, things are coming along nicely. Believe me when I say, it is not me at all!!! It is ALL THE HOLY SPIRIT!
May 3, 2019 begins year 3 in Boulder. I was here just 11 months when I got into my serious skateboard wreck that laid me up in the hospital for 30 days and 2 surgeries; after coming home I was bed ridden for another 2 or 3 months, then got around a tiny bit with a walker for many months, then on crutches for long time, and currently I’m using a cane to get around. These last 13 months have been the hardest in my life! So, needless to say, I need the power of the Holy Spirit to do anything. God is my complete resource for all my needs and my life!
Thank you for all the prayer intercessors who are moved and obedient to the Holy Spirit to pray for me and for this ministry. This is more difficult than I’ve ever imagined… words can’t express my difficulty in building this church. Thank you for your faith.
God bless…
If you need anything… I’m here for you, okay?
—John.

Greetings!
Today was another day in the timeline of building GEC. I’m totally surprised out the huge amount of work that must be done prior to building a church.
The Holy Spirit has directed me to work on the foundation of GEC. This is what I’ve been working on for awhile now. Remember, that for the last 12 months (March 30, 2018 to March 30, 2019) I’ve been healing a crushed left leg from a skateboard wreck. The healing has taken every bit of this year and probably another 6 months or so.
I’m almost ready to be kicked out the door, sort of speak, by the Holy Spirit! I’m laughing, because, he knows that it takes me forever to get anything done! I’m so slow, and I mean this has always been my trait or hinderance, how ever you want to look at it. As a child, my Mom would get so mad at me because I’m so slow! But God knows this too.
Because God knows who we are, he works with us, not against us. It’s important to remember that God doesn’t want someone else… no, he wants you! You are who he died for… amen?
March 28, 1975, Thursday (I think?), was my very first time in Boulder, Colorado! I was just Honorably Discharged from the US Navy, out of Norfolk, Virginia, NOB, Pier 4. I was driving across the country back home to Reno, Nevada. The thought came to me to stop by CU in Boulder to check on my application that I had made a year earlier, or so.
I was denied, I’m a D- student in HS. On my way out of town, going up the hill out of Boulder Valley, I heard someone in the back of my U-Haul Van say, “You’ll Be Back!” I almost pulled over, because I thought a college student had stowed away in back! I’m not kidding… the sound was that clear and distinct!
Anyways, I’ll tell the rest of the story at later time.
God bless you all… please pray for protection for me and the people that I’m witnessing to. And pray for provision, funding… I’m believing for $1,300 a month to cover the Boulder Budget. As always… because I’m a preacher… I invite everyone to salvation…
For salvation, a simple prayer from your heart is what you need… go ahead and ask, “Jesus come into my heart…”
—John.

Greetings!
The last several months have been stuck in research and study. I’ve been involved in two big topics… One: SIN and all the scriptures and doctrines involving sin. It’s an eye opener, for sure! Two: STREET PREACHING and the tips and ideas surrounding this style or method of preaching the gospel. This too has been filled with amazing revelations of what is possible in reaching the masses in a single preaching event… or a single preacher without a church or a pulpit or some other means of preaching the gospel.
The other sideline activity I’ve been up to is rebuilding my website, creating a podcast show, writing my first book (currently up to 51,000 words and 34 chapters) and building a prayer list – prayer letter sequences and prayers. All to the glory of God and to building the church here in Boulder! GO GOD!
Whatever anyone says… all I know is that if I keep my eyes upon Jesus Christ and filled with his Holy Spirit, I should, Lord willing, be able to glorify God in all that I do. Amen!
Just short and to the point… have a great day in the Lord! :)
For salvation, a simple prayer from your heart is what you need…go ahead and ask, “Jesus come into my heart…”

Friday January 25, 2019
Greetings!
This has been one big huge filled month of God working with me! I started working 12-16 hour days on about November 1 or so, something like that. I was getting ready for the launch of GEC in January.
So what is going on, you say? Well, about three weeks ago I began collapsing under to many hours and not enough quality sleep. And I was not ready for the launch! I just couldn’t get everything finished. But I kept working up to about a week ago, then it all stopped! I got sick and my leg, which I crushed in a skateboard wreck, all came to a head and I just gave up….just for a while.
My phrase I’ve been saying is, “Keep Moving” … “No Worry” … when I couldn’t keep moving, I was able to not worry! Isn’t that wonderful? I so believe that the Holy Ghost is building this church that I literally have and had no worry! I am completely taken care of… by faith, you understand?
Therefore, I decided, along with the Holy Ghost, to postpone the launch of GEC until May 3, Friday, 9:00 am… what? Yea, this is my exact 2 year anniversary of coming to Boulder, Colorado to build God a church! Exactly!
So, I will keep moving in creating Christian Content for all the areas of the church God has me working on. I’m really very excited!!! Some magnificent things are coming! It’s so much better than I ever dreamed!
God is so real! I sure hope that Jesus is real in your life, though. If not, just give him a call… okay?
For salvation, a simple prayer from your heart is what you need…go ahead and ask, “Jesus come into my heart…”
—John.

Tuesday January 1, 2019
Greetings in this new year!
Today I am finalizing much of the new blog style and theme. The idea is for it to match up more closely to the gospel tracts that I will be placing in the hands of people.
Wednesday, tomorrow…is the launch of GEC. It will be just a simple get out the door and begin witnessing. That sounds kinda funny, rather and more specifically, I am going to run with a slogan eveyday that says,
“Grab 2 packs and catch the 204 at noon!”
The 204 is a local bus. And this is 50 tracts total, a tract is a little 23 page booklet about the size of a large business card. On the back of every tract I have customized to read like a business card. I will be using the tract in a similar fashion.
My plan is to go into 5 different bus routes in the city and introduce myself to 40-50 people per day. The idea is to follow the Holy Spirit and be sensitive to what the Spirit is doing. My hope is that about 10% of the people, 4-5 will engage with me with conversation. In this dialogue, I’ll ask for their first name and a good email for my daily prayer list.
I will pray daily over my prayer list, lifting the people up to the Lord, in prayer.
Over the year, 2019, I hope to see at least 100 people come to the Lord Jesus Christ in salvation.
This will be the creation of cell groups of about 10 families each, in turn making up the body of the church.
I’m really excited. But I have to keep telling myself, every hour it seems, not to worry!!!
I’ll write tomorrow the 2nd of January, Wednesday and report on my results…
Until then…many blessings to you!
For salvation, a simple prayer from your heart is what you need…go ahead and ask, “Jesus come into my heart…”

JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. —Acts 2:21, KJV
PRAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS YOUR OWN WORDS:
“God I believe in my heart that Jesus is your Son and that he died for me and you raised him from the dead. According to your word, if I believe on him I shall be saved. I repent my sins and I receive you Jesus into my heart right now and make you my Lord and Saviour. Father, thank you for making me your child and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Good Morning!
Romans 10:8-13 (KJV)
From the website AV1611.com and their Online KJV…I place these scriptures here…they’re from The Book of Romans, Chapter 10…verses:
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
For salvation, a simple prayer from your heart is what you need…go ahead and ask, “Jesus come into my heart…”

Merry Christmas Eve!
The following is the start of Gospel Evangelist Church’s Statement of Faith…(over the next month or so, I will be updating and clarifying exactly the pillars of GEC…Statement of Faith)…thank you for your prayers!
The following is from page 41 of Chick Publications book titled, “The Next Step” copyright 2006 by Jack T. Chick, LLC. www.chick.com (My purpose is to illustrate a simple and proper list of beliefs every bible believing church should believe.)
Many Deny Or Pervert The Following…
1. The Virgin Birth
2. The Deity Of Christ (Christ As Creator)
3. The Blood Atonement
4. Death, Burial and Resurrection
5. 2nd Coming Of Christ
6. The Bible Is The Inspired Word Of God
7. Everlasting Punishment In The Lake Of Fire For The Unsaved
If a pastor denies one of the above… then get out and find a Bible preaching church.
Gospel Evangelist Church is a Bible preaching church!
Thank you, Chick Publications for the above text.
Respectfully in JESUS…

Saturday December 22, 2018
Good Morning!
Everyday of the past 3 plus weeks has been stuffed with what I’ve come to call, “Labor Pains”…yea, I know that sounds weird! I’ve been working nearly around the clock, not going to bed until sometimes 5 o’clock in the morning! Then getting back up as soon as I’m able to hit it again! It’s been a grueling but extremely rewarding time in my life.
GEC is getting ready to become a reality in Boulder, Colorado! So much as changed in me and in my life and also in my lifestyle, the way I live each day, that I feel the Holy Spirit has reshaped my life to conform to the calling I have to build Gospel Evangelist Church.
Today is no different…I continue in laboring for this new body to be brought into the world. Along with all this, the enemy has been hot on my tail every step of the way. It’s sort of like, I’m one step ahead and then he makes a giant step and lands on me…it’s wild!
Please keep me in your prayers. A fight, or rather a war, is happening right now over this city and probably most cities in America. As Soldiers for Christ, we must each take our stand and fight the good fight!
I love you…
In Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, forever and eternal…
Come Lord Jesus!
—John.
Sunday December 9, 2018
Good Morning!
Today is my first day in about seven days that I’m feeling well. Last Saturday, when the Spirit warned me not to have that can milk, I disobeyed and put that can milk in my coffee! Then a couple hours later, boy was I feeling ill…that lasted everyday all week…Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday again! Today, Sunday, I feel fantastic!!! The moral of the event…obey the Spirt of God! PLEASE!
The Holy Spirit is here, NOW, to comfort us and to lead us in the correct ways…also to protect us. This is God the Holy Spirit…sent to God’s children, the born-again, into God’s family, through the grace and love and work at Calvary on that last day that Jesus, the Son of God, hung on that cross for all mankind! Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved. Beautiful!
GEC is coming along nicely in the preparation phase. I can witness the Holy Spirit working everyday in bringing this new church to Boulder, Colorado! I sure need help though…the battle is real and exhausting. In the last 18 months: I’ve crushed my left leg, I’ve broken my middle toe on my right foot, I’ve lost over $5,000, I’ve been attacked by devils nightly for months, I’ve been harassed by devils in my daily life, and I’ve been sick more than the last 15 years! But you know what? I’m MORE EXCITED NOW than ever before…I’m MORE IN LOVE WITH JESUS than ever before…I’m MORE INTO GOD’S WORD than ever before…plus, I’m MORE INTO PRAYER than ever before!
Life is FANTASTIC in Boulder, Colorado…because of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
AMEN!
—John.
Saturday November 24, 2018
Today, as my usual for a Saturday, I spent the majority of the day with the Lord in prayer, the word, and just simple time in the Spirit.
Much later in the day I got the idea to update my blog, my theme, and the look of it all. Part of the reason is I get bored with the aesthetics. Plus I wanted to get ready for my new Gospel Tracts that will be coming in a few weeks. I’m very excited about that!
Time alone with God is very important…
—John.
Tuesday November 20, 2018
Yesterday was a big commitment for me! I ordered 10,000…that is TEN THOUSAND…Gospel Tracts to use for preaching here in Boulder, Colorado. I figure that I might be able to spend about 4 hours or so each day, Monday thru Friday, at 40 tracts (little booklets that tell a story and a call for salvation) a day for 50 weeks and that equals the 10,000 tracts! Man, that’s a lot of commitment!
These tracts are ordered from Chick Publications a wonderfully committed ministry to the Lord Jesus Christ!
Just keep going…
—John.
Thursday November 15, 2018
Everyday, including today, Thursday November 15, 2018, I work at building Gospel Evangelist Church. The part or phase that I seem to be directed towards is in establishing the “unseen” part of the church. This is the part that nobody sees nor understands…it’s the part that is in constructing the deep piers that reach to bedrock…you know the Rock, which is our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ! I thank the Holy Spirit of God for all the comfort and understanding that is being freely given. Daily the church of Jesus Christ is growing and of course there is always the present opposition from the Devil. Growing or building is not without pain…so as I read and prayed this morning in I Corinthians 9:24 KJV… “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.”
Thank you for all that run the race to win the lost…
—John.
Sunday October 20, 2018
As I was getting started for the day, I realized that today is 18 months since my retirement from 40 years of trucking. Also in just one more week, it will be 18 months since moving and relocating in Boulder, Colorado.
Boulder is a “Gold Mine” of people for the Kingdom of God! At least that’s what I see…seen in the ‘spirit’ and it’s sort of a feeling I get inside. It’s what I also choose to look at…there seems to be a correlation to what is focused on is what is seen. I choose to focus on the greatness and opportunity of people! People of Boulder are here by choice…each person comes to this city seeking the chance to find their life’s work and life’s direction.
People in Boulder are ‘called’ to Boulder…that is how I see it…because I too, am called to the amazing city up against the Front Range and the Rocky Mountains. I love living here…I love all the people…I love my calling to the city of Boulder…and to the State of Colorado.
The reason, I am in Boulder is to build God a church…called “Gospel Evangelist Church.”
It’s a totally great and glorious day…by choice!
—John.
Monday June 4, 2018
Okay, I get it…its been awhile…but I have good reason, lol :)
However, I’m not inclined to go over all my “excuses” at this time. I just wanted to update the GEC Journal with a up-to-date date!
The biggest problem that I will share is this website was down, due to my lack of skill or knowledge in updating my Secure Layer, the https and the lock with the secure features…finally I got some help and all now is well in website land! :)
I’ll do more shortly…
God bless and know that God is real…
He really is!

Tuesday October 10, 2017
I think one of the great activities one can do in creating a church, building a church or even a ministry is to pray…I mean lots and lots and lots of prayer hours. The kind of prayer that I’m talking about is time in the Presence of God through prayer. Hopefully that makes sense?
Prayer is not just talking and talking and hoping that God hears you. No, the prayer that builds ministries and lives is the prayer that is sometimes silent, sometimes talking, sometimes listening, sometimes writing, sometimes reading God’s Word, sometimes praising the Lord, sometimes singing hymns, sometimes spiritual songs, and sometimes just being highly aware of the Holy Spirit…because only by the Holy Spirit does anything truly get done.
Honestly speaking, the most effective manner of prayer is done through the Holy Spirit. As the Apostle Paul says many times, praying in tongues is the key! Without the language of the Spirit, prayed daily, it can be very difficult to do the work of the ministry…at least how the Lord is leading me. Hallelujah!
I’m so excited that I can hardly sleep at night…Praise the Lord! Psalm 150. Psalm 139.
Good night my dear friends…
—John.
Friday October 6, 2017
Here is a quick update on the planning of how the Holy Spirit is leading me in building GEC.
Now this is nothing like most churches…this is a completely new work and not a duplicate of what other churches are currently doing. This is not to imply at all that anything is incorrect with any church. Absolutely NOT!!!
My vision is what I am judged on and how I hold and deliver this vision. Therefore, I am responsible to God for this church. Of course, I am accountable to wise men and women for their counsel.
1. May 2017 to May 2018: Move and setup in Boulder, Colorado! Make this HOME…until I go on to Heaven.
2. May 2018 to May 2021: First Cell Group begins and builds out to include three thousand Hope Partners with Children’s Hunger Fund. This is our outreach that we are using to “Touch One Million People For Heaven.”
3. May 2021 to May 2031: We will have touched ten million people by 2031, (1 million per year times 10 years), the basic accounting of a tithe on 10 million is 1 million people who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and are in Heaven because you and I lived!
This is simply a broad stroke and is more about my life line and my ages. I see 64 to 67 as foundation building. Then I see 67 to 77 as the home building. My original vision is seeing one million people in Heaven because I lived. That’s why I say, this is more about my own timeline. The great thing about God is He includes everyone in His Vision! Which of course includes your vision and my vision…isn’t God Amazing?
Good night great people of God, I love you.
—John.
Wednesday August 16, 2017
Have you had the opportunity to build a ministry? I have been involved in ministry building for what seems like forever. The peculiar thing about it is…I have never succeeded in building or rather finishing the ministry. I have started a dozen maybe several dozen in the last forty years…40 YEARS!?!? Yep, actually it’s closer to 43 years. Why so long? Because about two weeks after I was saved (born-again), God called me into the ministry. Yes, God does actually call His ministers into service. It just doesn’t happen.
I know for some ministers, they just wanted to do something for the Lord. So they went to school or just started a ministry. Simple as that. While others, like myself, have been personally called. The BIGGEST problem with this is we face the biggest opposing obstacles. So, like me again, never truly get off the ground and build our ministries.
Thank God, that He never gives up on us. If we don’t give up on Him, He won’t give up on us. That’s a fact!
—John.

Everyday we get closer to starting Gospel Evangelist Church, in Jesus’ name!
Monday, August 28, 2017, I will be doing something different in this regards. On that day, the Lord has plans for me to do something that I am not currently aware of…I know that sounds weird. But being strange and unique or rather weird, is one of the key attributes of being an “on-fire-preacher-for-Jesus-Christ!!!”
I plan to keep journaling a little bit each day if possible on the building of GEC.
God is a good God!

Friday July 28, 2017
Today is Friday, and what a great week it has been! I am definitely getting closer to launching our church here in Boulder, Colorado! It looks like Monday August 28, 2017 will be a major shift in the building phase (building means gathering people!)
I didn’t realize just how long it would take to get settled into my new home and my new town and my new lifestyle as a retired trucker. Life is most definitely different and in so many ways that I never dreamed of…
Nonetheless, life and ministry look good on me..LOL
Have a great weekend and as always…God Bless You!!
—John.
Saturday July 15, 2017
I think it really doesn’t matter when we pray. What? Yes, in my case, and the case of so many Christians that I know. We pray continually! I find myself praying probably once every hour, on average. No, it’s not some long drawn out prayer…it is a simple quick from the heart communication to the Lord…it’s easy, because I am always thinking about Jesus! I really am…
—John.
Monday July 9, 2017
Everyday I pray and seek the Lord’s direction. In my prayer is a section that I pray over people and events that come to my mind…this morning was no different…at times I get overwhelmed with the burdens that people carry, what I mean is that I see into the lives of people I pray for and I can feel their weight…if you are an intercessor then you know what I mean. I’m not complaining, I am making a point in that I see, spiritually, and then I ask the Lord to allow me to see myself as YOU, LORD, see me…nothing…
Got in another 5,000 steps in my walking and talking to people. Today I didn’t go in a good direction and didn’t feel correct, but I went on anyway. I won’t do that again…the point is to only go where the Lord leads…
Jesus is the lead person in this adventure in Boulder, Colorado!
—John.
Thursday June 22, 2017
Have you ever noticed that when you’re moving in step with the Holy Spirit, time seems to change its importance? I realize that is a strange question/comment…but really, think about all the times (hopefully there are times) that you felt in perfect harmony with the Spirit. Harmony is a key word here, it is also the key word in the very early stages of the building of the Christian movement/church just after Jesus returned to Heaven and sat at the right hand of God.
Having this perfect harmony will aid you and me in our work of building our ministry. Why? I think it’s because when we are in harmony, we hear the voice of the Spirit and we easily recognize what we are to do next, or what to say next.
Harmony, think about it…
—John.

With God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26
As I was just wrapping up my Sabbath Day with the Lord, I finished the day by watching the movie, “Facing The Giants.” After the movie ended and the credits were rolling…I started saying to God that I am in Boulder all by myself…there is not a group behind me…there is not a church supporting me…there is not a prayer team supporting me…there is not a missionary alliance sending me…there is not one other human being with me…I am completely by myself…the three people I asked to come with me to build this church all said no…Lord I am alone…then!!!! The Lord said, With God All Things Are Possible!” I began to cry, even as I type this, tears begin to well up in my eyes, because He loves me so very much, I am so beautifully blessed by Him!!! God loves me! God love you…
Yes, the Word of God is true…With God All Things Are Possible…read Matthew 19:26…

Friday June 16, 2017
For the past couple of days I have been doing a lot of soul searching…at least that’s what I’m calling it…
My friend over the phone said to me, John get out there and get to it! Or something similar to that…basically they were kicking me in the butt to get out the door and build the church God said for me to do. Well, that really took me for a loop…I couldn’t sleep all night. Up the entire night and then worked at my desk trading when the stock market opened. When the market closed at 2pm (Colorado Time), I turned my phone off and everything else and went straight to bed.
When I awoke the next day around 9am…I knew what I was suppose to do. I can’t write it here because people wouldn’t understand unless I told the whole story of my life. Maybe someday soon I’ll be able to write a short essay on how God works in my life.
Everyone must come to terms with how God communicates to each of us individually. If you’re born again, you are a child of God and heaven bound when you pass from earth. Being a child of God gives us the ability to ‘hear’ God… and that is in our own unique way. The Word says, to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these earthly things will be added to your life. Go look it up…
—John.
Sunday June 11, 2017
Sunday! What an amazing day to be alive. The odd thing is that this very day many people cannot say that. Why? Because, well I suppose they could if they made a decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior…born again, is the term that Jesus used as recorded in John 1:3-15 KJV.
I did a short to the point blog post with that title, Born Again. Every time I have used these words people really get huffy and immediately label me as ‘one-of-those-so-called-big-mouth-preachers’ and they are not interested. Oh well, by the time they are done with me at least they know to call out to Jesus when it’s their time to go…strange how people think.
Dear God, thank you for saving me and for saving the people I talk to nearly everyday. In Your name Jesus. Amen.
—John.
Wednesday June 7, 2017
Yes I know!! It has been a month since I updated this journal…well, I have been without proper internet, except for my phone, which is extremely difficult to post onto a blog framework.
Now that internet, in my life is restored…lol…I will again continue updating and posting!
Right now let me just say that God is so REAL that I can’t stop crying some days. The Lord has me in a type of ‘Spiritual Hospital’…I know that sounds weird, but this is what it feels like. I am being healed of 40 years of trucking. More specifically, the last 14 years since I left Boulder to return to Redding. In these 14 years, I have had to learn patience and more patience and then more patience…add infinite to the last 14 years.
In the days and weeks ahead I should be able to continue journalling this church and how God is building it. Let’s see…

This is the day the Lord has made!!! That’s the song I hear being sung over me…the Spirit of God has the most tender and caring feeling that I have ever felt. Getting to know, intimately, the Holy Spirit is highly important to building a church. The plan is to have the Holy Spirit lead and direct and counsel all of us every step of the way in building Gospel Evangelist Church in Boulder, Colorado.
I have found that my willingness and obedience to the Lord has increased since I said yes back in July 2017, when the Lord told me that “now is the time” to be moved to Boulder and to begin building the church. Saying yes, meant giving up my world trip after retirement. Sacrifice feels good when working and serving the Lord.
Now is the time…
—John.
Thursday May 4, 2017
Woke up at 9:11 this morning…that is Psalm 91:1…this was the last verse that Kenneth Copeland commented on last night as I went to sleep!!!
God has prepared an interesting day for me. After my morning prayer, went down stairs for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to met at least 3 people, all who gave me great encouragement for this new church.
Updating the GEC – JOURNAL…right now and spending time in a preparatory prayer, sort of a new type of prayer for me…should be interesting to see all the signs, miracles, and wonders following me today as I share what God is doing in Boulder, Colorado.
—John.
Wednesday May 3, 2017
Arrived in Boulder, Colorado May 3rd as the Lord directed. Got here right at 9am when the Boulder Storage opened, amazing timing!!
Unloaded the U-Haul, turned in the U-haul truck and tow dolly, then the Lord directed me to look for a hotel tonight using my phone, instantly one popped up and I called with an amazing deal, checked in about 2pm and began to pray and to relax.
Created a “Game Plan” to initiate the next steps to building Gospel Evangelist Church.
Ended the night listening to a short message by Kenneth Copeland on Psalm 91…went to sleep protected!

Saturday April 22, 2017
This is the big day!! I woke up in Weed, CA with only 75 miles left to professionally drive, out of millions and millions of professionally driven, ie. paid to drive…and then that will be it for this chapter.
Being a fulltime preacher will start tomorrow, Sunday…which will be my first day of being a Free Man!! Of course if you are a woman…you’re a Free Woman!!! Wow, that even sounds good!
Gospel Evangelist Church will continue to grow into reality. Each day is filled with the actions needed to design, create and build GEC!
You are important to God…really get that, ok?
—John.
Wednesday April 19, 2017
Wednesday…the day in the middle of the week? Well, sort of…it’s, for me, actually marks three days until my retirement from 40 years of trucking. What a milestone in my life. It’s just not trucking, it has been all kinds of professional driving, being paid to drive. I have made my living since I was 23 primarily from driving…that sounds strange.
What sounds even more weird is that in just a few weeks I will become a church pastor! Now, that is different, however, it’s not out of my realm of ministry. For nearly all my driving career I have been a preacher, minister, missionary and all kinds of positions in the Lord’s ministry. Preaching is my life!
Boulder, Colorado…here I come…ready or not! :)
—John.
Monday April 10, 2017
I can hardly believe how fast and quick time goes by…but we all hear that, and that is not what I am referring to…time as in regards to life on earth, this is how much time each of us have here, on earth, how many days, weeks, months, or years do we truly have before we die? Because, let me tell you, we all will die. Period.
Some of my best friends that are younger than me are dead. Period. They are no longer here on earth. Where are they? I think they are in heaven. Why? Because of most of my friends, I made sure they knew about Jesus and about salvation. Are you saved? Do you know Jesus Christ as your savior? If you died tonight, do you have the assurance in your heart that you would go to heaven? If yes, GREAT! If no, then from your heart, tell Jesus that you want Him in your life. Okay?
—John.
Sunday April 9, 2017
Today is Sunday and an important day in the history of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior. Today marks the day that began the last week of His ministry or redemption work. Because of what He did, we who believe, can receive eternal life! That is just amazing! What amazes me probably the most is in comparison to other world religions, none that I am aware of proclaim “eternal life” and “life in heaven” …I suppose this could be an argument with believers in these other religions, oh well…I don’t mean it to be an argument.
Thank you Jesus for ALL You have done!
I have just two weeks left until I retire!! 3 trips and I’m done!! Then onto Boulder, Colorado for the building of Gospel Evangelist Church. Lots of FAITH is needed. Thank you for all who pray for our ministry. Blessings :)
—John.
Thursday April 6, 2017
Just finished praying…and man oh man! God comes through and sweeps me into tears…most times I can hardly believe that God even knows who I am. I mean, He’s God, Almighty Creator God…who am I? I’m nobody, save the Lord Jesus Christ who saved me and brought me into His Kingdom!
The pressure to perform or rather the pressure of worry feels lifted off my shoulders. That is a weak link in me, namely worry. Yes, I know what the Word says, people are always very quick to quote the verses of not worrying. As if I didn’t know them already.
God does care…
—John.
Wednesday April 5, 2017
Last night I switched the blog to a https for security reasons. I thought it was already there, but was not applied yet. Next year I will switch to an even more secure web presence. It’s a lot more money, but worth it, I think.
Gospel Evangelist Church is still on my horizon…it sure feels uneasy to me due to my history of not producing or rather failing at ministry. This should prove interesting as I go further into the calling to build God a church in Boulder, Colorado!
—John.
Tuesday April 4, 2017
Just got home a little while ago, its 4am…drove all night, 600 miles…the crazy tough life of a trucker!
Just think, only about 5,000 miles left of a 3,000,000 mile career!! Crazy and Weird all together…then I turn Church Pastor…more craziness…life with the Lord is never dull!!
Gospel Evangelist Church is a disrupter in the church world…

Saturday April 1, 2017
This is April! April is my last month on the road as a trucker!! I will be retiring Saturday, April 22, 2017…40 years of professional driving and well over 3,000,000 miles, millions of miles! Hey, it’s only 25,000 miles around the Earth’s Equator! Amazing how miles roll by and time passes, and well now is the time to venture into my next life.
God is moving me from Redding, CA to Boulder, CO to build Him a church. I will be giving the rest of my life to this project. The time-line gives me a good 2 decades of concentrated effort. Thank you Lord… Thank you Friends for being with me and supporting me…
—John.
Thursday March 30, 2017
Each day is like a mini-lifetime! Cultivating a real true vision and/or calling from God takes much work…work as in prayer, thinking, research and so many things it is difficult to catalog into a journal as this. I think that is what this page may become…a short one or two paragraph of the musings of my work in building GEC.
I see that video or filming will take on a new aspect to the ministry…soon I will be back filming daily videos on various things that the Lord is taking me through in preparation and in creation of GEC. I see lots of hours of work ahead of me…I see 6 days a week for 2 years non-stop effort in bringing this church into reality…yes, I know… God will build His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail… it still takes physical effort in conjunction with the Holy Spirit of God. Tally ho…
—John.
Monday March 27, 2017
Another day of preparing for this church. As the days roll onward to my retirement, I feel more confidence that God is moving me to Boulder. I see in scripture and in current life, when God moves someone, He prepares a place for them. You see, this is the single thing that stumbles me. Therefore, I just focus on my many decades of God moving me and seeing that every time, He has already prepared a place for me! Amazing…
—John.
Monday March 20, 2017
This is just me playing around trying to figure out what I want to do with the church stuff. April 22, 2017, I retire from my trucking career of 40 years and embark on a journey of a lifetime to Boulder, Colorado to found or to start and build a new church for God…as per directed by God, okay?
I’ll goof around with this page a little later…until then, use the ‘John Choque’ button…
…to take you back to my regular blog.
